No way! It wasn't true, I couldn't let Tori get hurt. "No, Tori!" I said visciously. "She's lying to you, you love the Jackson's. You know they wouldn't lie to you, you know they wouldn't, they love you." i said pulling her away. "Rachel, stop it." Taylor said. "No, I won't. Tori, please listen to me, it's not the truth, I can sense it. Tori come on, we have to go." I said. Taylor was being rushed with girls, and Tay had my hand as we were being pulled into a mob. "Tori!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as she was barely in view. I had to jump. "Tori!!" I yelled again. I saw her say something to the lady and she came running towards the group of the girls who were mobbing. She had all her luggage and everything when she entered the mob. "Tay, pull towards her." I yelled to my brother who still had my hand. I extended my hand as far as I could reach, without getting hurt. I felt her hand as a body guard pulled the three of us in to a bus. It was finally silent, all the volume that was in our ears were gone. "Are you guys ok? Gosh you should have been near us.' Mom said in the bus. I looked at the back of the bus to see everyone. Tori, Taylor, and I were standing up still. I was kinda dizzy. "Tori, you stayed." I said loudly giving her the biggest hug in my life. Everybody except for Tay looked at us like we were crazy. "Yeah, I realized you were right, and when I saw you guys being pulled away again, like in Tulsa, I couldn't bear to lose you again." She said returning my hug. "I knew you wouldn't leave." I said. "Tori, if you left, it would have been very..um." Taylor said. "Bad?" Tori suggested. "Yup." Tay said giving her a hug. "Oh my gosh! Tay is giving a hug! The world must have come to an end!" Zac yelled from the back of the bus. "I've been giving a whole lot of them ,they aren't that bad." Tay said laughing. "OK, now tell me what are you talking about. Why would Tori have left?" Diana asked.
Tori
"Um, she found her real family. You know the one that gave her up?," Ray said. "Oh, really? Do they live in Tulsa?," Diana asked. "Yeah, I think so," I said, I was still confused. My mother had looked so sincere, how could she be lying? I had to call Mom and Dad back in NJ immediately. "Tor? You OK?," Diana asked. "Yeah, I"m fine," I replied.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*At the house*
I dialed the phone. "Hello, Jackson residence?," Dad said. "Hi, Dad, " I said. "Hey, Tori! How are you?," he said. "Dad? Did my real parents give me up, or did they just never find me?," I asked. "Tori, they never stopped looking. Why?," he asked. "I saw them. Today at the airport. Why did you lie to me? Have I been through enough? This is just like Ray!," I said. "We didn't want to lose you," he said. "It's too late. You lied. I'm not coming back, "I said, and hung up. I burst into tears.
Rachel
"What's wrong Tor?" I asked. She was sitting on the chair by the phone crying. "It's true Rach, they lied, the Jackson's lied." Tor said crying even harder. Now I felt guilty. "Oh Tori, I'm sorry, I didn't know, I mean." I said. I didn't know what. I ripped her away from her real parents. "No, it wasn't your fault." She said. But it was my fault. "Do you know their last name?" I asked uneasily. "I think Denesin." She said through sobs. "Oh Tor, I hope you don't hate me. I feel horrible." I said. "Of course not. How could I hate you?" She asked. I didn't know what to believe. I had such mixed feelings about everything. Taylor walked in looking confused. "Just take her, Tay, she'll explain, I have to get out of here." I said running out the front door. The familiar streets that I have walked on when I was a child haden't changed a bit. I knew that nobody knew me anymore. I didn't belong anywhere anymore. I didn't belong here, I didn't belong in Ramsey, i just didn't belong. And that feeling made me feel very helpless. More helpless then anything I could imagine. I knew I was running into nowhere. The nowhere was Tori's old house she lived in. That nowhere was a somewhere that I wanted to be so badly, but then I didn't want to go. I sat down on the sidewalk and broke down into tears.
Tori
I sat there crying my eyes out. Ray walked in and attempted to comfort me. She kept saying it was all her fault. I didn't understand what she was talking about. She said something to someone, and she got up off the couch where I was crying. I felt someone put their arms around me. I looked up into Tay's eyes. "Tor, what's wrong? Why did Ray walk out like that? Did you two have a fight or something?," he asked, worriedly. I shook my head. I tried to stop crying long enough to tell him, but it was useless. I had lost both my families. I didn't belong anywhere except with the Hansons, if I even belonged there. "Tori, calm down. It can't be that bad, " he said. "He lied to me. My father lied to me. I don't have anyone left to turn to," I choked out through my tears. "Your real mother was telling the truth?," he asked. "Yeah, but I don't know where they are, or where they live. I an't be near the Jacksons right now. They lied to me. How could they do that to me," I cried. "Ray thinks it's her fault?," he asked. "Yeah, but why would-," I said, stopping short. In a harsh realization, I figured out why Ray thought it was her fault. I bolted out of the house, leaving behind a very confused Taylor.
