We left and before we were out of the parking lot and going down 101 south, The Astro's had a 10 run inning behind Lee May's two homeruns in one inning. I've seen every construction phase from the cyclone outfield fence to the partially inclosed to the fully inclosed stadium. New scoreboards, A great old bleachers section, a new great bleachers section, etc. 4 decades of great memories in this house, I can only hope we go out a winner there and start a new tradition at PacBell... I have three puppies...Fenway and Dusty and Nolan. I love them to death. Dusty was named after Dusty Baker *she smiles* I collect books on baseball and come up with "special teams" in the off season. I won't mention Mike Scott's no-hitter against The Giants on September 25th 1986. *she smiles* I grew up watching the game. When I was 4 my father sat me down at a baseball game and told me that I wasn't going to run around the ballpark like all of the other kids. Started following the Giants in '87...I was in Arizona for Spring Training, went to a few Giants games and I've followed them ever since. 1997 will be a year that will be remembered for a long time. 1997 NL Western Division Champions: The San Francisco Giants. 1997 NL Central Divison Champions: The Houston Astros. What more could a girl ask for? Haven't missed an Astros home game in 5years. Please don't ask me who I root for when The Astros play The Giants. Back in 1973, some of the Giants gave a clinic for kids in Redwood City. My most memorable thing about it, was asking Dave Rad r what happens if you're a left handed catcher. And his reply was,"Sometimes they have their advantages." I was playing for a softball team that year who's colors were also orange and black. After the Giants did the clinic. All of us kids were given free tickets to attend a Giants game against the Atlanta Braves. GVL signing date: April 1997
