A BRIEF Background:
Ricky was a guard dog with Blitz in the same junk yard in Germany. They first met as puppies, and became best friends. About six months before Blitz was called for the first time, an unfortunate incident with a female german shepherd caused their relationship to be severely damaged. Feeling it best if he moved on, Ricky soon found himself on an American ship bound for New Mexico. After nearly a year living in the woods and highlands in which he crossed two states, he finally came across a small farm in Wyoming. He noticed there was a resident dog on the property, but managed to slip into the barn undetected. Ricky was awoken that night to the sound of a group of rogue dogs attacking a small golden retriever. He eventually manages to rescue her and chase them away, but is injured in the process. The owner of the farm, witnessing the final moments of the scuffle before Ricky chased the dogs off, takes him in. While he is recovering, he is visited by Hunter and (HUNTRESS) who thank him for saving their mother. Once he regains his health they take him back to Rover headquarters to meet everyone else, including the Master who believes he has potential. When they meet again, things between him and (BLITZ) do not initially go too well, but Blitz eventually forgives him. While his at Road Rover Mission Control, Ricky learns about Shadow and promises to keep it a secret. He even finds (LOVE) for a short time. But Ricky's problems refuse to stay away, and he eventually decide's to leave because of certain unfortunate circumstances.
