The FamilySearch FAQ I maintained at another site has been superseded by this FAQ.

Within the last year, the LDS Church has diversified its offering of genealogical data products and has made some products available for home use, and they are planning an internet site to be announced later.

This site will contain basic info on how those products work, what they are, and how to use them. As more info becomes available, there will be more info posted about these products, including the much-anticipated Internet service.
