Friendship
"We need people in our lives with whom we can be as open as possible. To have real conversation with people must seem like such a simple, obvious suggestion, but it involves courage and risk."
Thomas Moore, PhD., "Embracing the Everyday"
Affirmation: Today I will let go of masks and be myself.
I have found such a treasure-trove of friends in a group of women (and a few men) called Mad Chatters. We call each other "roomie", but the feeling is of unity and trust.
I don't need a mask. Nor do they. We have been blessed, for friends are relatives you pick for yourself.
