One campaign that I recommend is the Kiwi
recovery project.
New Zealand has 40 extinct birds, 1/3rd
of endangered birds in the world today are the ones in New Zealand. The problem has been so drastic there because there were
no natural predators and with stoats, ferrets & weasels being introduced into NZ to eradicate rabbits, most birds have
been easy prey. The kiwi besides being the national symbol of New Zealand is also unique in its shared role of bird &
‘mammal’, very diiferent to most other birds. Its population has declined rapidly in the last two decades and
I encourage you to visit the site and give some support to the work to save the kiwi.

We don’t have to wait for corrupt
or inept leaders like Bush or Howard to reduce global warming. As individuals we can all take charge in the way we live our
lives. Reduce using vehicles and walk instead where possible. Reduce, reuse & recycle. Plant more trees. Cycle or walk.
Use smaller cars & reduce energy use where possible.

Protecting forests & other wilderness
areas in all parts of the world is vital to not just reducing global warming but of course for saving various species of life
and the habitats that they depend on.
