Chapter Two

Isaac continued to entertain him self with a game of pinball, which was located in the back of the restraunt.

"NO!!" Isaac said to him self, while watching the ball go past the little paddles.

He stuck his hands in his pockets, and realized he didn't have a quarter. Then he looked at his watch and sighed, "5:15, dang it,"

He left the arcade and was in search for Nicole. No luck. He found her mother at the cash register, taking the money from a teenage girl.

"Excuse me Ms. Hopkins, have you seen Nicole??"

"Um..." she tried to think and count the amount of change at the same time. "She's in the employees room in the back," she said pointing to the door that said 'Employees'

"Thanks," Isaac ran toward the door and quietly opened it. He saw her rubbing her neck and going back to counting her tips from earlier that day.

He quietly walked up behind her and started massaging her shoulders.

She stopped counting and started enjoying the little mini massage. "That feels great, I'm so stressed right now,"

Isaac stopped and sat infront of her. Nicole just stared at him expectantly.

"What??" asked Isaac.

"Does he??"

Isaac sighed and played with a fork that was on the table, "Hadn't asked, I'll ask tonight,"

Nicole told Isaac everything, he was almost like a big brother to her. And the night before last she told Isaac she had a huge crush on Taylor and wanted him to ask if he liked her. But what she didn't know was that Ike had a big crush on her.

"What's wrong??" asked Nicole, with a concerned look on her face.

"Oh nothing let's just go home,"

On the way to Nicole's house, five minutes from Ike's, Isaac put his arm around Nicole. Nicole looked at him and looked back at the sidewalk, while taking his arm off of her shoulders.

"Why'd you do that??" asked Isaac.

"Uh, because I felt like it," she answered, making it sound like it was a stupid question.

"Sorry," mumbled Isaac, while stuffing his hands in his pockets.

"Look, you've been dropping hints all day, why don't you just come out and say it," demanded Nicole.

"I like you more than a friend," he answered quickly.

She started laughing, "OMG!! You do??"

He turned beet red. He was so embarrased that he ran home.

"Isaac!!" Nicole yelled. "OMG!! What have I done??"
