While there has been no offical statement on this Tradition from the Prince or the Council of Primogens, it has been practiced on general principle.
History and Purpose
This is yet another Tradition that dates back to the dawn of the Kindred. It's purpose was to generate within the Kindred a respect for each other. Today its purpose is to allow a Prince to rule over a city and keep it organized.
