English is my Mother tongue, and I am NOT fluent in anything else. However, I have dabbled in these other languages:
French (year 8 high school), German (years 11 & 12, TEE), Italian (private study with singing teachers followed by a course at UWA), Latin (singing teachers), Chinese (Putonghua / Mandarin, private study in a small group for a few months), and Bahasa Indonesia (private study in a small group for a few months in 1998).
Driver's Licence
- Class C (no special conditions), T endorsement for taxi driving (Hire & Reward), HR-B truck (synchromesh gearbox only, no crash gearboxes or automatics). When I get a chance I’d like to do the truck licence test again, but this time on a vehicle with a crash gearbox so I’ll then have an unrestricted HR licence..
Other
- Touch-typing at up to 45 wpm. I learnt typing in junior high school and at TAFE.
- Wide-ranging computer skills gained from heavy use of Macintosh computers since 1990, and heavy use of Windows computers since 2002. Also Atari and Acorn computers.

- My last National Police Clearance was in February 2006 and I will have no problems getting an update if required.
