 Monica Watkins I.  I am married and have two children.  I am a
 klingon / jebadar mix.  I have been a member of the ship for almost 4
 years.  I also hold a couple other offices.

    The 2nd Officer can be anyone, who knows the ship and crew.
 Normally, the 2nd Officer is commander of another department on the
 ship, such as Chief Engineer, Science Officer, Chief Helmsman, etc.
 Anyone in the Command structure can hold this position.  Like the
 Captain and 1st Officer, the 2nd Officer should also know as much as
 possible about the ship and crew.

    The 2nd Officer is like the Assistant to the Vice President of a
 company.
