nuqneH! I am Petty Officer 1st Class, Kormac tai-Rasmehlier, (also known as Edward D. Jones II). P.O. 1st Cls, is the naval version of Sargent. I am the current Commander of all cadets aboard the ship. Cadets, aboard this ship, are attached to one of the other officers. to learn the duties of that position and the proper way to handle it. As a Harbinger cadet, you may be jumped from position to position, at any given time. This will ensure that you will learn all positions as well as be able to fill in anywhere, efficiently, at a moments notice. The cadet's job is to learn all that they can about as many of the ship's duties as can be managed. They may have a ship of thier own someday. The Harbinger prides itself in turning out the best officers in the organization. Cadets, are anyone under the age of 18, in KAG. KAG official guidelines are flexable enough that some worthy cadets may advance into standard system ranks earllier. Much of the choice is left to the ship's commander. - Good Luck- ---------------------------------------------------------------------
The job of the Cadet Commander, is to take charge of the cadets aboard ship, and to see that they are assigned for, and to monitor and keep notice of their progress and problems, and to point out needed changes. Once a cadet has progressed to an acceptable level of competence, the overseeing officer will inform the Cadet Commander and he will see that the cadet is assigned to another post, to further their training. The Cadet Commander will also reccomend those worthy cadets for promotion. In real life, the Cadet Commander would be like the Trainee Supervisor, of a company. He is the "Cadet version" of the ship's Captain.
