Welcome to the Engineering Section

Say hello to our new crew mate and Chief Engineer, Walter Shipman.
By the way gang, Walter is also the new Marine ranking NCO. It seems
that this ship is destined to have a marine as the chief engineer.
As you might remember, the last Chief Engineer we had, was also the
marine RNCO. Well, at any rate, bu'a' Bru'tal tai-loQ'traal, has now
been replaced with bu'a' Qololth tai-Rasmehlier. Qololth comes to us,
highly trained and capable. He is ex-5th Special Forces, and now he
works in the field of robotic engineering, in Indiana. Having
discussed various ideas with him, in some depth, I have no doubt that
he will more than adiquately fill the job. Also, as was bu'a'
Bru'tal, bu'a' Qololth serves a secondary position, as the Captain's
personal cha'DIch. My back is well guarded, indeed.
 Welcome aboard, bu'a' Qololth!

Job Description

The Chief Engineer's job is to keep the ship running, as well as
any other ship's equipment. He repairs all crew equipment and makes
any modifications that might benefit the ship and crew.

In real life, the engineering dept. develops the stats for our
ship, as a gaming piece, to be used on the board game version of
StarTrek. Also, the engineering section is responsible for the
production of parade floats and any other projects needed for event
 use.
