Technical and Philosophical aspects of the Star Trek community,
specially anything having to do with the Klingon Culture. This is to
become the place to go for any information concerning anything
Klingon.

This is your Captain, again! As per previous orders, all ship's
crew are hereby assigned additional duty, as recruiting officers.
People, this is serious! Our ranks have dwindled severly, and we
need to rebuild. I would prefer to restrict the membership, to the
local area, but as far as our "Online Ship", is concerned, we could
effectively take our members, from anywhere within the range of the
internet. However, I still wish to lean heavily on the immediate
tri-state area, for our membership. I want as many local people as I
can get. But, if someone from outside our area, expresses strong
interest in becoming a member of our ship, I will not turn them away.
Undoubtedly, our other KAG brothers, will not be happy, about us
siphoning membership, from their areas, but them's the breaks. We
Klingons are a very competitive people. If our Klin brothers and
sisters can't handle the heat, then let them leave the kitchen! This
goes double, for any marines we manage to pick up. Personally, I
don't care WHERE they come from, as long as they are from within the
boundaries of Cold Terror Fleet space, and Cold Steel Quadrant. That
gives us the entire central United States, specially the area of
Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Understand, that this is an online experiment, and that I have no
orders or suggestions, from my superiors, concerning this. I'm doing
this one on my own initiative, people. And, once HQ gets wind of it,
it may get shot down. As it is, our current KAG Commander, Admiral
Kroesh, is trying to get away from so much online activity. He
thinks that internet communication is a curse, and a serious drawback
to KAG. I, personally, can't see any reason why every advantage
shouldn't be used, to it's fullest. This club is a "fantasy of the
future", so why shouldn't we use machinery of the future? Like it or
not, Computers ARE our future, and are becoming so more each day. If
you can't handle the changes, and keep up with them, then you'll be
left behind. I don't think our club should be left behind, in any
aspect! The Harbinger's motto is: "chargh Hegh ghap". The
translation, says:"Conquer or Die". We will adjust to the changes,
and use them to our advantage. We will continue to conquer!

Greetings, Cmdr.,
I understand, from my XO, that you are apparently the newest CO,
for Cold Steel Quadrant. Apparently, you also have fallen prey to
KAG's infamous lack of current communication. I am, Thought-General,
Kolar epetai-Rasmehlier, CO of the newly formed BLA, (Broken Lands
Alliance). I used to be know, within the ranks of KAG, as Marine
Colonel, Kolar sutai-Rasmehlier, CO of Cold Terror Fleet's IMF, and
CO of my own IKV Harbinger, which is now, the Flagship of the BLA.
My Ship's XO, whom you wrote and recieved answer from, is now
Admiral, Quv'SuvwI'a zantai-QelIS, CO, BLA Naval Forces. And Mike
Rank also late of KAG, use to be Colonel Moraak, "the merciless", CO
of KAG's IMF. He is now, General Moraak, "the Merciless", and CO of
BLA-IMF. His XO, is Chris Striker, also one of KAG's ex marine COs.
I and my entire ship, resigned the ranks of KAG, some 5 months ago,
and almost immediately drew many followers. Many, were already ex
KAG, who had known me for the fair and forcefull leader I have always
been, and extremely, anti-political. My one truth, that held me to
KAG, was the belief that John Halverson was being screwed at every
turn, by the maliciousness of his underlings, who ran KAG into the
ground, namely, Admiral Kroesh. What I found out, in my further
contact with John, was that in my opinion, Kroesh wasn't the only
malicious problem in KAG, and that in my opinion, John Halverson was
to be numbered there, also. I will go no further, in my estimation
of your current leaders. You must be the one to judge them, on their
own merits, and how it effects you, personally. Until I know better,
I hold you to be the typical klingon officer and leader of klingons,
and well capable of making your own decisions. I ask only the same
consideration.
Suffice it to say, that for many reasons, my ship, her crew and I,
are no longer subject to KAG's jurisdiction. In truth, I have more
than enough to contend with, handling the influx of all the new
members to BLA, (unfortunately, most are ex KAG). In some cases, I
have acquired entire ships and crews, to the point that BLA covers
the same territory, although much sparcer, that KAG has always
claimed. BLA holdings cover the continental US, and Canada. We are
comprised of 4 fleets, and the same divisions as the old KAG, that I
remember. Our ranking is somewhat different, and we make use of some
noncom ranks, for both Marines and Navy.
Should you find, that KAG isn't what you wanted, remember, us and
AT Dover, I will share a drink in all honor, anong fellow Klin. In
the meantime, Qapla' mang!
