"Hey girl!! Are you going to the dance tonight?" Jenny asked as she ran up to my locker. "Yes, I'm going, but I don't have a date. I wonder if A.J. is going to be there?" Star wondered outloud. "Forget about him girl! He probably does'nt go to them affairs, plus he is a troublemaker. He will probably get kicked out by the end of the night or wind up in a fight!" Jenny said frowning. "Jenny, I told you that he is really a sweet guy if you would just get to know him!" I said. "Yea, whatever but I'm warning ya, if he ignores you today, don't be suprised by it!" "Suprised by what?" Kevin said walking up to Jenny and giving her a kiss on the mouth. "Well, Miss. Star Light here is in love with the new guy!" Jenny said. "What new guy? Is it who I think it is?" Kevin asked. "Yep, A.J. Mclean himself! The TROUBLE-MAKER!!!" Jenny said. "Jenny,let Star do what she feels in her heart. If this guy is true at heart, then maybe it will workout!" Kevin said defending her. Jenny could'nt believe what she had just heard. "Whatever~~!" she said and took Kevin's hand and walked away.

I can't believe some of my friends in this school!! They act like they have never been in love before! Oh no, there goes that word again! I can't be in love with this guy, maybe just a small crush, but not love!! she thought. Star was so deep in thought, that she hadn't notice Nick Carter standing in front of her. "Hey girl, wake up!! The day's not over yet!" Nick said laughing. "Oh, hey Nick! What's up?" she said snapping out of her trance. "Not much. Me and Brian was just about to go to Basketball practice, then we are going to head home to get ready for the football game tonight. Are you going to the dance?" Nick asked. "Yes, and I have to be in the football game too. Remember, I'm a cheerleader!" I said laughing. "Yes, I know that. Well, I will see ya tonight!" Nick said waving goodbye. "Bye!" she called back. Geez, what was up with him?! Oh well, I better go to practice or I'll be late! she thought and started walking down the hall.

A.J. walked into the gymnasium right after school. He had to go talk to the coach about his grades. Right before he reached the office,he stopped dead in his tracks. There she was in a cheerleading outfit doing some kind of routine! Damn, she looks good! he thought. She saw him and waved. He totally froze, and just stared at her. She waved at him again. He finally got the courage, and gave a wave back to her. She had compleately stopped in the middle of the routine,and the coach was jumping onto her for it. He gave a chuckle, and turned and headed for the coaches office.

"Star! Hey, Star wake up!! Why did you stop in the middle of the routine?!" the cheerleading coach asked. Star just looked at her and noticed that she had completley stopped in the middle of the routine. "Ummm..... I think I forgot some of the steps coach." "Star, we have practiced this routine for three months!! You should know it by now!!" She shouted. "Sorry, umm.... can we try it again?" Star asked. "Ok girls, since Star has come back to life on us, let's try this again!" she said starting the music. The music started and Star danced perfectly! I just hope he is at the dance tonight. Should I ask him to it? Nah....he will be there!! she thought and finished the dance. Inside, she wanted him to show up to the dance tonight so bad.
