Star could only stand there and watch. She was very beautiful, with shoulder length blonde hair. Not like her's that is down the middle of her back. Star's eyes were baby blue, like a crystal clear ocean. Not like this chick that was with A.J.! This girl looked like a royal witch! "Hello!!~~ Earth to Star!! Come back to us girl!!" She snapped back to reality, to see Brian waving his arm in front of her face. "Star, what's wrong?" he asked concerned. "Suddenly, I don't feel so good. I think I want to go home." Star said turning her head back to where A.J and that girl had just walked in. "We just got here!" he shouted over the music. "Hey, do I see tears in those eyes of yours Star?" Brian said concerned. Star didn't answer him. He turned to see what Star was looking at. He saw the new guy, who had brought a girl with him, that had just walked in. "Oh, I see what you seem so upset about! Want me to make him jealous for ya?" Brian said putting on his golden smile. "I don't feel up to it! I just want to go home!" Star said trying not to cry. Jenny and Kevin had just walked up and heard the conversation. "See, I told ya! He only likes chicks with leather, he does'nt care about you girl! And you are not going home!!" she shouted. Star hesitated. She didn't want to be in the same room with him, now that he had brought slut puppy with him. "Come on girl, let's go have some fun!" Jenny said with a gleam in her eyes. Star's frown suddenly turned into a smile. "Ok, forget that bastard!" she shouted. "STAR!!" Kevin, Jenny and Brian shouted at the same time. "Well, I'm here to have fun right? Not gawk over someone who does'nt even know that I exist!" she said laughing at everyone's expression. "Now, that's the best friend I know!!" Jenny said and grabbed my hand. "Come on, let's go dance!!" Star said rolling her eyes and jerked Jenny out on the dance floor. Star started doing something that Jenny had never seen before, she moved over to where Nick was and started dirty dancing with him. Nick just went with it. Hell he's just a friend, what harm could do? she thought. Nick thought the same thing, and just went with the flow. The fast song suddenly turned into a slow song "Nobody" by: Keith Sweat. She ran over to Brian and whispered in his ear. "Dance with me please? I look stupid out here on the floor by myself." He knew what she was up too, she wanted to make the new guy jealous. He grabbed her hand and gave her that smile of his, and walked her to the dance floor. "Now, just move along with me. You think you can do it?" he whispered. She only nodded, and started moving along with him. He turned her around, dipped her, sang to her. "Are you ok?" Brian asked her, when he saw that she looked a little nervous doing that at a school dance. "Yes.....you are doing very well making him jealous! Look over there!" she said motioning with her eyes over in the corner. He looked over there pretending to talk to her and look for someone else. He saw A.J. just glaring at them, with the girl right by his side looking up at him. He turned his head back to her's. "Yup, I should say so too!" he said laughing. "Do you think he like's me, Brian?" she said with a hopeful look on his face. "I think he does girl. Look, don't listen to anyone else, but your heart. Things will look up, I promise!" he said smiling. She started smiling really big, and gave him a hug. "Oh thank you!! You are like the big brother that I've never had!!" she said hugging real tight. After the dance, she excused herself to the others to go to the bathroom.

*A.J.'s point of view*

Damn! Why did I have to bring her? Now Star thinks I'm with this bitch!! he thought. His eyes got wide when the slow song came on, and some guy grabbed her hand and led her to the dance floor. Oh my god!! What the hell is she doing, dancing with him like that? She is supposed to be dancing with me!! Shit, why did I have to ask this slut to this dance,when I wanted to ask Star? he thought. Well, genius, why the hell didn't ya? he thought. He looked at the bitch that was looking up at him. "What are you looking at?!" she said sarcastically. "Nothing!" he shouted. "Why are you looking at her, then?!!" she shouted at him. "I wasn't looking at her, geez will you chill out bitch!!" A.J. shouted at her. She just gave him an evil look, and went into the bathroom. Damn, I wished I could get this bitch away from me!! he thought. He looked over at the guy that Star was dancing with. Hmmmm...I wonder what he is to her? I think I will find out! A.J. thought and started walking over to the guy that was dancing with Star.

*Brian's point of View*

Brian walked over to the table and sat down. He started thinking about Star's situation. I wished I could help her get with this guy. He might seem like a troublemaker, and stuff but she adores this guy. he thought. Brian took a sip of his coke, and looked around to see the new guy coming his way. Good, here is my chance to get them two together. No matter what anybody else says!! he thought. "Hey, can I talk to you a minute?" the new guy asked. "Sure, sit down." Brian said. He sat down right across from Brian. "By-the-way, my name is A.J. Mclean. I'm new here. What's your's?" A.J. asked. "Brian. Brian Littrell, nice to meet ya!" he said extending his hand. A.J. reached over and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you too." he said sitting back into his chair. They sat there looking around not talking. "Listen, I want to know something." A.J. said breaking the silence. "What is that?" Brian asked. "Are you dating Star?" he asked bluntly. Brian was so shocked, he could'nt even speak for a moment. "Um.....n...n....no! I'm just her friend." he said shocked. "Oh well, I was just wondering." A.J. said. Brian sat back in his chair and smiled at him. "You like her don't you?" he asked smiling. A.J. just looked at him like he was stupid. "You do like her don't ya?" Brian asked again. "No, I don't like her!!" "Sorry I asked man!" "I think I'm in love with her." A.J. said bluntly. "WHAT?! I mean, that's so great! She thinks that you don't like her because you brought that girl to the dance tonight." Brian said. "Well, I asked her to come tonight before I knew Star. Hey, can you do me a favor?" A.J. asked. "Depends on what you want." Brian said. "Well, I really want to be with Star tonight, and I can't get rid of this bitch that I brought with me tonight. Do you think you can take her off of my hands?" A.J. asked. Brian just looked at him. He actually wants me to take slut puppy off his hands!! he thought. Well, maybe I should. Star really wants to be with this guy. "Well......ok, but on one condition! You take care of my friend, and please don't hurt her!" Brian said seriously. "I wouldn't do that to her, I'm in love with her Brian. I would'nt want to lose her." A.J. said. "Ok, I will do this, but you have to tell slut over there that it's over between you guys!" Brian said. "Ok, I planned on it." he said laughing. "Ok, this is what you do. Just go up to her and ask her to dance, that's all you have to do. Um...Brian, how am I going to get with Star?" A.J. asked. "Ok, Star loves to slow dance, pick a song that describes how you are and how you feel about her!" Brian said with excitement. "I can't dude, I don't know any songs like that!" A.J. said. Brian sat there for a moment thinking of a song. BAMM! "I got it!!" he said slapping his hand on the table. "What....what?!" A.J. said excitedly. "There is this song that describes how you are feeling and how you are, and it also describes how her friends feel about her having a crush on you!!" Brian said. "You mean she has a crush on me, she really likes me? And what about her friends not approving of me?!" A.J. asked. " Yes she does like you! And her friends can be snobs, but me and Nicky over there does not care who she goes out with or likes, looks and being rich or poor does'nt matter to us. We care about her, and we just want to see Star happy. " Brian said. "Oh, so tell me about this song that just describes us." A.J. said. "Hey, I just won't tell you about it, I got it out in my car. Come out with me and you can listen to it!" Brian said jumping up. A.J. got up and headed out to Brian's car to listen to the song Brian wanted him to hear.
