"Ok, that is all the questions I need to ask her. Let's get her to the hospital!" the officer said coming in. "How are we going to get her there if she is asleep?" Nick asked coming right behind the officer. "The ambulance is downstairs with the stretcher, we can carry her down." the officer said. "I'll do it!" A.J. said picking Lanie up in his arms. She stirred a little bit. "Mmmmmm, ouch, where are we going?" she asked. "Shhhhh baby, just go back to sleep. We are taking you to the hospital." he whispered to her. "Mk." she said and fell back to sleep in his arms. A.J. just giggled. He finally got her downstairs and on the stretcher. The Emt's drove her to the hospital. All they could do was wait. And pray.

Lanie woke up and didnt know where she was. "I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS! WHERE ARE MY LEGS?!!!!" I screamed. "Shhhh, calm down Miss. Parnell, we are just doing some tests. We will be finished in a few minutes." The doctor said. "WHAT IS THIS IN MY ARM?!! IT HURTS!!" I screamed. "It's just saliene and water IV. Just relax. Can you feel that?" he asked. "OUCH, YES, I CAN!! STOP!! IT HURTS!!" I screamed. "Can you wiggle your toes, or move your feet?" he asked. I slowly wiggled my toes, and then my feet. "YES, BUT IT HURTS A LITTLE!" I screamed. "Ok, Miss Parnell, you can sit up now." he said. "WHAT IS WRONG? IS IT BAD?! TELL ME!!" I screamed. "Well, first of all, you need to calm down, and listen to me. I have some good news!" he said smiling. "Ok, tell me!" I said. "Well, it looks like you have just cramped your legs up by fighting back, and the muscles in your legs are just in shock." he said. "How long is it going to take to heal them or get them back in shape or what ever you call it?" I asked. "Well, it will take a nice long hot bath, with some salt, and a nice long nights sleep." he said smiling. "That's all?" I asked. "Yes, that's all you have to do. You will be fine in the morning." he said. He gave her some pain pills to get her through the night, and called for a wheelchair to carry her out to the car. "Your friends can come and help ya!" he said. He walked out to go and get them in the waiting room.

A.J. was pacing back and forth. Jenny,Lisa,Stacy, and Sarah was fidling with their thumbs. Nick, Kevin, Brian, and Howie was just sitting, and starring off into space. "Damnit!" A.J. broke the silence. "What's wrong?!" Brian asked parinoid. "What is taking so damn long?!" he shouted. "Calm down, A.J., she is fine!" Brian said getting up. "Yea, she will be alright just.........." Jenny got interrupted by the doctor coming in. A.J. ran up to him. "How is she doc?!" he asked parinoid. "Well, you can go in and see her now." he said. A.J. took off running down the hall. He got to her room door and knocked. "Come in!" he heard her sweet voice. He opened the door, and saw her sitting up with her legs stretched out. She had her head turned towards the window, and didnt notice who it was. He walked over to her bed. But before he got to say anything to her she started crying. "I guess I blew it didnt I goobey? I mean with A.J., I'm so stupid to think that someone like Chris could never be anything to me, like A.J. is!" she started to cry even worse. "All he ever wanted me for was sex, Goobey! I never gave it to him though, to tell you the truth. I have been saving myself for A.J., cause he is someone I really love! And now he is gone! Out of my life for good!" she said and started crying. He walked over to where she could see him. "No, I'm not out of your life for good." he said.. She raised up really fast. "A.J., WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! OWWWWWW! OH GOD, I HATE THIS, IT HURTS!!" she screamed. "Shhh, hey it's ok, I am here now. What did the doc say?" he asked. "He said, my legs were in shock, and just to go home and take a hot bath and rest. He gave me some pain pills to ease the pain in my legs." she said. "I have been worried about ya all night!" "You have been with me the hole time?" she asked wide eyed. "Yes, I didnt want to see you hurt." he said. "Oh..............I guess you heard all of that stuff?" she asked looking up at him. God he was so beautiful. "Yes, but...........you know we cant be together! I am in a band. A band that is touring all the time! And Baby, you know that I would be with you and only you all the time if I wasnt!" he said touching my cheek. "Oh, so I guess, that's that?! A.J., I...........I cant.....I mean, I don't know how to thank you for staying with me. And for saving me, twice in one night. I owe you one someday, huh?" I asked. "Yes, you do. But someday." he said looking down at me and smiling. "Hey, I've got to go back to the hotel for something. I will be back at your house in the morning to see how you are doing!" he said. "Ok, See ya." I said looking down. I started to cry. What an aweful night! I cant believe that jerk,Chris! And I cant believe the man of my dreams loves his career so much! I thought. I want to go home!
