3 hours later

I was so nervous about this. I kept pacing back and forth, back and forth in my room. How in the world am I going to explain this to everyone?! I thought. Just breathe Lanie. Relax! I thought to myself. DING-DONG~~ Oh god, they are here! I rushed out of my room and down the stairs. Lisa had already answered the door. "Yes, she is at home. May I ask who it is?" "ABRAHAM!!" I yelled and ran to hug him. "How are you mia?" he asked. "You have done asked me that. But I am not really good." I told him. He looked me up and down. "Are you sick? What is it?" he asked. "That can wait, just come on in and make yourselves at home, where is the rest of the family?" I said looking behind him. "Lanie!!!" Suzy Q screamed rushing to me. SuzyQ!!" I screamed and ran to hug her. "My god! Look at you! So what have you been up too girlie?" "Oh nothing, just teaching the kids!" I said. "Coming through!!" Chris and Moma shouted from behind Suzy. "Moma!! How is my favorite mother in the world?" I asked almost crying. She looked just like Selena. "Fine, mia, I have missed you!" she said putting some stuff down on the floor and hugging me. "Do I know you?" Chris came over smiling. "Oh hush, you! Come over here and give me a big hug!" I said laughing. He ran over to me and scooped me up into a great big hug. "So how is my favorite sister?!" he asked. "Oh, I'm fine. I just had to go to the hospital last night! Nothing big though." I said. "Well, I hope not!" he said laughing. By this time all the girls, and the boys walked into the living room. "Well, dont just stand there, come over here and meet Selena's family!" I said. They all came over and said hi, the girls got hugs and kisses (tradition), and the guys got handshakes. "Where is A.J.?" I asked looking around. "He's not here yet." Brian said. "Oh." I looked down sad. We all sat down into the living room, the girls helped me fix some cokes for everyone. We all sat and chatted for a while. Then Abraham stood up and looked at me and said. "Lanie, we have come here tonight to talk to you and give you something very special! But first, let me give you that something special!" Abraham said. He went over to his bag, and pulled out a video tape. Then he walked over to the VCR, and stuck it in and turned on the TV. "Lanie, before Selena died, she made this tape for you. Well, everything just happend all at once. You moved, then we lost all contact for being so busy with the Salon, that we forgot all about this tape." he said. "Oh, what is it? Am I going to cry?" I asked looking up at him. Everyone was quiet. "Yes, I believe you will, but I just want you to know that she wanted you to be the first one to know." he said. And then he pushed play. I got into the floor, and watched the TV, not facing the others. Then their was my dead best friend staring at me.

"Am I on?" she asked. "Yes mia!" I heard Suzy's voice. "Um.... ok, Lanie, hey girl its me. Your best friend. hey!" she waved to the camera smiling. "Anyways, we have been best friends for a long time now, like 3 years. And you have been in the band for 2 years. Me and Chris have just recieved some great news! Lanie, you are going to be an aunt! I'm having a baby!! A baby, me, who would have thought?! I didnt have the courage to tell ya in person, because of that conversation about marriage and babies we had. You said, I was too young. But deep down in your heart, you are right! I am so scared Lanie! " She started crying. "What if I dont make a good mom? Well anyways, there is another thing, I wanted to tell you! I made you a wedding gown, well its more like an evening dress for special occassions! I just finished it! I wanted you to have it because its mine and your color! White of course! Well, you are so special to me, and I love you so much!! bye sissy!!" The VCR went dead, and all was silent. No one spoke until Howie came over. "Lanie, you ok, sweetie?" he asked putting his hand on my shoulder. I turned around, with tears streaming down my face. My heart was torn all to pieces. "She was pregnant?!!!!!!!!! Oh my God, and that bitch had to kill her!!!!! Did you press double murder?!!!" I screamed crying. "Mia, Mia, calm down please!" Moma said trying to comfort me. "WHY SHOULD I?!!!! SHE KILLED MY BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD, AND HER CHILD!!!!!!!! OH GOD, NO, NO, NO, THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!!! SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed. I was crying hysterically. Everyone in the room ran over to me. Trying to comfort me, but nothing helped. "SHE WAS SO YOUNG, WHY, WHY, WHY, DID SHE KILL MY BEST FRIEND, MY SISTER!!!! I'M HAVING NIGHTMARES EVERYNIGHT ABOUT IT, AND IT'S ALL HER FAULT!!!! IF SHE DOESNT DIE THROUGH THE ELECTRIC CHAIR, I WILL SEE TO IT THAT I KILL HER MYSELF!!! OH GOD SELENA!!! I'M SO SORRY, I'M SO SORRY, SELENA PLEASE FORGIVE ME!! I DIDNT MEAN TO LET YOU DIE, I TRIED TO STOP HER, I TRIED, I TRIED!! I DIDNT KNOW, PLEASE............AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" I couldnt stop myself from pouring out my feelings. "Lanie!!!!! Stop it!! You will start to hyperventalate!!!" Brian said. Everyone was crying, even The boys. "NO, I WILL NOT......................SHE WAS MY BEST.............FRIEND!!!!" I screamed. "LANIE!?" A.J. said coming in the door and walking over to me. "A.J. don't, I dont think it's best that you yell at her." Jenny said looking at me sadly. A.J. just looked at Lanie, she was on the floor hysterically crying. "Is this about me?!" he asked. They all shook their heads no. "Then, what is it about?! Why is she on the floor crying?!" he asked parinoid. Howie was comforting me by talking to me. "I'm sure they didnt know that she was, please, shhhhhh, it's ok to cry!" he whispered. "She..............was................preg.........preg.............pregnant! And I let her..............die!" I was calming down some but still crying. "Shhhhh, it's not your fault, it was all over the news that she had been murdered, Lanie, and you arent the one who did it to her! She loved you so much, girl! And you loved her!" Chris said coming over to Lanie. He put a hand on her shoulder. "I cant help it, I was there, I held her until the end!! The hotel.............the blood...........oh god!! My hands had her blood on them!!" I screamed. "Who is she talking about, and who are these people?!" A.J. asked. He was in the dark about everything happening. "Dude, you remember the singer who died about 3 years ago or so? Selena?" Nick asked. "Yes, but I still dont understand!" he said. "This is her family, A.J., Selena was Lanie's best friend. And was in her band." Kevin said coming over. "Oh my god! I didnt know, I'm sorry!" he said. "Well, now you do!" Nick said. "Oh shut up, I'm serious I didnt know!" he said. "Ok, ok, I believe ya!" Nick whinned. "Mia, come on now, lets sit on the couch and talk." Moma said coming over to me. I got up and sat down on the couch. I looked at everyone and said. "There is somethings I need to explain about myself. Could you come sit, please?" Everyone sat down and looked at me. "I just want to start out by saying that I'm sorry for that outburst, of course A.J. was late, so he doesnt know what is going on. But I will get to that latter." I said really nervous. Everyone was silent for a moment. "Go ahead Mia, tell them." Abraham said. "Ok, see, about six years ago,my father moved us to Corpus, Christi, Texas. Because of his job, he left me all alone alot. Anyways, I started hanging around this girl who had been all over Mexico with her singing, one summer. We became good friends. And that is when she asked me to audition for the Dinos`. You remember that Abraham, I was really nervous!?" he just nodded. "Anyways, I was one of the backups and I was also a dancer. See, me and Selena, then vowed to be best friends forever. We did everything together, we had some good times, and bad times, but we always got through them together. Then she met Chris, and they fell in love. Abraham didnt approve at first. They even had to sneak around. She would call me up at night, when we wasnt on tour, and bawl her eyes out! I told her that he would come through, and he did. That was when we claimed to be sisters. Cause they couldnt pull us apart long enough to get a word in. We was that close. Well, we started to tour and stuff. All she wanted was for the fans to be happy, that's all she ever wanted. Then her Salon opened up, and she needed a good fan club manager. That was when Ulanda stepped in. We trusted her! Then stuff started missing, like records and stuff. And Abraham here told Selena that he suspected Ulanda was doing it. So we confronted her about it, and she denied it all the way. Well, one night me and Selena was staying at a hotel in Corpus, and she said that Ulanda was to come and talk about the stolen stuff. She told me to wait inside. But I had this uneasy feeling all night. So by the time I got out to her, she had done shot her! I held her and said. "Selena, hold on please dont die on me! " All she said was:" I love you girlie, my best friend, my sissy. Tell my family and Chris that I love him very much!" By that time i started screaming for help. I started shaking her saying. "Come on girl, please dont die, hold on Selena, please dont leave us!!" She didnt even make it to the ambulance. She died! And she was holding the ring that she had given her!!! After that, I just lost it. I started having nightmares about it. I couldnt handle living in that town anymore, so I moved here. Then I started talking to Jenny online. Then we became best friends. And there is the story. Now I find out she was Pregnant!" I said crying. "Lanie, I have something else to give you. Chris would you do the honors?" "Sure Abraham!" he walked over to a bigger bag and come back with...........
