The first text box says 'Site Title'. Type in the name of the your site. (i.e. my site's name is The History of the Belgian Air Force during World War II). The next text box says 'Site URL'. That's the site's web address. (i.e. my sites address is https://members.tripod.com/~John_C_McLeod/BL.htm). The next text box says 'Name'. That's your name (duh). Next text box says 'E-mail'. That's your e-mail address (duh again). The next text box says 'password'. That's your password. Please remember this! I have some rules for passwords. All text is undercase. The text has to be all in one word. Also, you put the last name of someone in world war ii first, and then put the year of something important that happened in your life. It can be the year your first child was born, the year of your birth, the year of your wife's birth, or anything else. For example: if their was a guy who's last name is joe and the important year is 80. The password would be joe80. The next text box says 'keywords'. These are words that describe your site that will be used for search engines. If it was on the Luftwaffe your keywords might be: 'luftwaffe, goering' etc. Some keyword strategies I'll share with you are: pepper the list typos people might type. For luftwaffe their might be luftwafe or luftwaff. Also MANY FRUSTARATED WEB NOVICES TYPE IN ALL CAPS. VERY FEW SITES ARE WRITTEN IN CAPS (AND I ADVISE YOU NOT TO DO THAT), SO VERY FEW SITES COME UP. BE SMART AND HAVE YOURS COME UP BY PUTTING SOME WORDS IN ALL CAPS. THANK YOU. The next text box says 'keywords'. Type a phrase or sentence that describes your site. For example: My site's description is: "An informal page on the Belgian Air Force during World War II. Try to include some keywords in your description. Then press 'Submit Site' and you're done! Once you submit your site, it is not yet part of the ring. I will send you some HTML code that I will instruct how to put on the site. And when you put the banner on, be sure to put it on the bottom or top of the page (I would put it on the top).

FAQ:

I submitted my site to the ring, but there is no banner on my page.

Once you submit your site to the ring, I have to give you a HTML fragment to paste on your site (use a text editor to do this), and then the banner will be added.

I forgot my password. How do I find it out what it is?

Just e-mail me and tell me your name and site information, and I'll give the lost info to you.
