OCCUPATION   Resident scientist. Specialist on the theoretical
             implications of black holes and other astral
             phenomena.

COMMENTS     The most unusual choice for the crew. Apparently
             recommended by Charlotte. He is a good scientist,
             with no experience of space flight. He is by no
             means exceptional. He has gradually progressed
             through the ranks from being a lowly research
             assistant to resident scientist in fifteen years.
             He has ambition, yet he hasn't the skill nor
             initiative to give a superior the desire to
             promote him. It wouldn't surprise me if he
             remained as a resident scientist for the rest of
             his time.
