''READY?'' UA shouts.  Entropy, wearing a gas mask, stands    
with a hose by the volcano.  He waves.  UA presses a button 
which activates a charge.  A hole blows in the rocky surface
and hot steam begins to come out.  Entropy shoves the hose  
into the hole.  He walks away and takes the mask off.  He   
follows the hose back to the jet.                           
''I hope this works.  The jet is pretty basic.''  Entropy looks
inside at the high tech cockpit with radar, bomb control and
a computer.                                                 
''BASIC!?!''                                                  
Minutes later, the two hop into the jet.  UA hits a button  
and the cockpit closes.                                     
''Glad you had your Crystal on you.  We needed it to power   
the thing.''                                                 
''Whatever.  Just get us home before some other dimwit drags 
us off on an adventure.'' Entropy says.                      

''Right.  Well, here goes.''  He flicks three switches, then  
presses a button.  The jet begins to tremble before the     
turbine begins to spin and the jet comes to life.           
''YEAH!''  UA flicks another switch and pulls back on the     
stick and the jet goes up.                                  
''See?  This was a great idea!'' Entropy says.                
''Yeah, but the gas still could go unstable and cause the jet 
to explode.  Oh, well.  hang on.''                           
''Oh, I'm sure that--e-explode?''  UA hits the throttle and   
the jet streaks off.                                             
                                                        
The jet flies over the castle and lands in the courtyard    
just as the last speck of night fell.  They're greeted by a 
dark castle.  Entropy and UA look around.                   
''This don't look too good.  Let's look around.''             
''Right.''  They split up.                                    
                                                            
MEANWHILE 
                                                  
Eme walks into a lab, still following that strange feeling. 
She looks around, not recognizing the place.  She never even
knew it existed...did she?  She looks around and finds a    
Crystal floating above a table, slowly spinning.  She walks 
towards it and reaches out her hand.  Suddenly, her wrist is
grabbed by Kyle.                                            
''Darlin', why're you in my room?''                           
''Er, uh, I just needed to check on something.''              
''Fine.  Just never here again.  Now, better get t'th' dining
room.  I'm gonna have a meetin'.''  She nods and walks out,  
refraining from punching him.                               
''I don't trust him.  I wonder why...?''  
                    
THE DINING ROOM    
                                         
Eme walks into the empty room.  She looks around, and sees  
no one.  She moves to the table when she sees someone       
entering from the doorway.  As he steps into the blue glow  
of the moon, she can see                                    
''UA!''                                                       
''Hey, Eme.  Glad you remember...''  She jumps and tackles    
him.  ''What're you doing?''                                  
''You and your Vile will not take my kingdom!  Not if I have 
anything to say!''  She begins punching him.        
Entropy, meanwhile, is busy scowering the halls for any of  
the other CFs.  He slowly stalks down a hallway, sword out  
and ready to attack when he recognises a familiar face.     
  
~Tala!~ he thinks, but hangs back.  ~With what Kyle's been
doing before I left, I'm not risking it.~  Suddenly, she    
hears something, and runs for the dining room, right past   
where Entropy is standing.  That is, she would had Entropy  
not grabbed her and put a hand over her mouth to keep her   
from warning anyone.                                        
  ''MMPHPHMHH!'' She yells, most likely something not meant   
for young ears.                                             
  ''Shh!  Calm down, I'm not going to hurt you.''             
She yells for help again, then bites down on Entropy's hand.
 He stifles a yelp of pain, but accidentally lets her go.   
With barely an effort, she whips a leg around, knocking him 
to the floor and then pinning him down by the neckwith her  
forearm.
                                                    
''You're not tricking us again, Traitor!''                  
''No trick! No trick! I came to get rid of Kyle!  UA's back
too!''  Entropy says, his voice slightly pinched off by the  
amount of pressure being applied to his throat.             
  ''Figures you would come back with the Vile.''  A second    
later, Tala is the one caught up in a joint lock, unable to 
call for any more help.  ''How...?''  She asks.               
  ''Sorry, I'm not at liberty to discuss that.  Now, if      
you'll just sit tight and stay quiet, you should be fine and
I'll come back once Kyle's dead and you're sane.''  He grabs 
a coil of rope from his belt, and quickly ties her up,      
puting a makeshift gag in her mouth.  He then rushes off    
towards the kitchen. 

FIVE MINUTES EARLIER                                 
                    
Nity hears a noise like a struggle from down stairs.        
''Come on you guys I think the ship has landed and its       
occupants are here.'' says Nity. The CFs leave the control    
room and spread out in the shadows among the balcony.        
They hear the noise of a fight.                             
''Now!'' yells Nity shifting into Razis.                       
They run forward jumping off the balcony into the dining    
room below.                                                 
They see Eme a top someone. Eme claws at his face and then  
he throws her off.                                          
As the man, UA, gets up he is met with Razis's foot. UA     
stumbles back.                                              
UA and Razis begin to dook it out in hand to hand combat.   
''What, are you now the Vile's new hit man as well?'' asks Razis.           
''What are you talking about?! Its me, UA!!!''                
Then the rest of the CFs from the control room converge on  
UA.
                                                         
Kyle is on the top floor leaning against a wall in the      
shadows, a big smile spreads across his face. 

''He's mine Razis.'' Eme says shoving him off  
UA. She then lets UA get back up. She jumps up and double   
high kicks him across the face and then lands on the        
ground.With a swift movement she sweeps him, making him land
hard on his back. Then she pounces him and pins his arms    
with her knees, continually punching him with rights, lefts,
and upper hooks.
''No one tries to destroy my kingdom and gets away with 
it a$$hole!'' She screams at him. She's in a position on
him where his arms are under her knees and his legs are     
pinned by her ankles and her thighs crush everything        
together.

Tala struggles with the ropes for a moment, calling Entropy all sorts
of wonderful names in her mind. Then she stops, closing her 
eyes, and the ropes start untying themselves.               
 After a few minutes, she is free. With fury blazing in her 
eyes she stalks after him, pulling the gag from her mouth as
she walks.
As Tala continues down the hallway, it branches off into    
three nearly identical ones.  ''Wait a sec...There's no place
like this in the castle!''  Entropy suddenly flows out from  
the right passage, shifting back to his human form.  ''Not   
bad.''  he says, a moment before Tala takes a swing at him.  
''Whoa, hold on!  I said I wasn't here to hurt anyone except 
Kyle!''  He grabs her by the arms, holding her close to him. 
''I know you don't remember anything about me yet.  Even so, 
let me explain,please.''
Tala  ''That was for tying me into the chair!''                 
 Then she lowers her voice, deciding that no one needed to catch
them together like this..wait a minute..why was she         
defending Kyle? Hadn't she just stomped on his foot? She    
kinda shook her head, then glanced up at him, her decision  
made.  ''Very well, explain. But make it quick.''

THE DINING ROOM  
 
Seeing the CFs gather around him, UA knows they won't stop  
to listen to him...not as long as they think he's who he's  
not.  Gotta take them out as gentle as I can...or else, he  
thinks.  He grabs Eme's wrists and flips her off of him.    
Then, he grabs Nity by the collar and tosses him into       
Krakken.  Zealen and Kisuitsu come at him from both sides,  
but he jumps up and twin kicks them.  He turns to Zealen and
gives him two elbow jabs to the gut, then gives him a right 
cross, sending him down.  He turns to Kisuitsu and gives him
an uppercut.  Eme jumps him, but he tosses her into Nity   
and Krakken.  UA takes out the rest of the CFs.  Difference 
between me and the other one, he thinks, is that I know     
their moves and attacks.  Eme gets up and charges at UA     
again.  He delivers a nerve jab, knocking her out.  The CFs 
lie around the floor, either unconscious, bruised or        
slightly bloody.  UA stands in the center of the havoc.     
''Now, are you gonna listen to me?'' 
 
The only of the Cf's not to be in the room at the time      
enters, rushing to the sound of battle. Ganthet sees a man he    
does not know, yet does, standing over his friends.  He'd had
his doubts about whether Kyle was really their leader...no  
honor in that one...and this man seemed so familar. ''I am   
prepared to listen...provided you are prepared to explian   
calmly and without additional violence.  I can be quiet     
destructive when pushed.''

DOWN THE HALL
 
  Entropy sighs.  ''Okay, here it is.''  After telling the    
entire spiel, Tala still looks suspicious.                  
''Why should I trust you?''                                 
''Because of the pendant you have in your pocket.  And     
because of this.''  He draws his sword, handing it to her and
kneeling.  ''If I were actually here to do harm, you would   
kill me.'' Tala lifts the sword, preparing to strike...but   
stops, dropping it.  Suddenly, Kyle appears from behind her.

''What're you doing?  Kill 'em!''  he then tosses her a      
wicked-looking knife.                                       
''Don't listen to him, Tala.  He's been deceiving you this  
whole time, don't listen!''                                  
Kyle suddenly slams him into the wall with a TK throw.      
''He's a Vile general, and has to be killed.''  he says,      
sneering.  ''Remember?  He amost killed you when he betrayed 
us.''  Tala steps over to Entropy, looking at the knife in   
her hands.  ''Fare...well...''  he groans out, steeling       
himself for death. 
Smiling to himself that his brainwashing was so complete, Kyle walked
into the dining room, leaving Entropy to Tala.

THE DINING ROOM

~Oh no you don't!~ Kyle thinks.  With a mind zap, Ganthet    
only sees red rage.  He charges UA.                         
''Uh, oh!  Crystal bull!''  He grabs his cape and waves it to 
the side.  Ganthlet runs past.  He then spins with his sword
but UA gives his arm a karate chop, shattering it.  He      
shatters the other arm, then shatters his chest, leaving his
body separated.  Kyle jumps over the banister and lands in  
front of UA.                                                
''Impressive, but ya won't win.''                             
''Really.''                                                   
''Yep.  With my unlimited psionic power, I c'n destroy ya    
five ways o' sunday.''                                       
''Listen, Kyle, power isn't everything.  But if you keep this
up, I won't be able to withold giving you a thrashing!''     
''Big talk.  Bring it on.''                                   
''Fine.''  They dive at each other.

THE HALLWAY
  
Tala Lifts the knife, prepared to strike, but lowers it as Kyle's
thoughts leave her mind with a rush.                        
 She frowns down at it, then at the man kneeling before her.
Then she     
raises again, as if she is fighting an inner battle in her  
mind. However, she holds her ground, and after about ten    
minutes or so, the knife lowers again. When she speaks though,
her voice sounds strained.                                  
 ''Let's go help your friend, they're fighting right now.''   
She didn't even bother asking about how he knew about the   
pendent, then picks up his sword, and holds it out to him.  
 ''Okay, but are you all right?'' Entropy says, rising and   
taking his sword.                                           
  ''Just fine.''  She says, her voice still hoarse.           
  ''Let me-'' he starts, attempting to help. 
She shrugs it off, continuing.  As Entropy sheaths his sword, he follows  
along, making sure her condition is what she says it is.    
They are nearly there when Entropy hears the sounds of      
battle.  Instantly he turns to Tala, who hasn't noticed it  
yet.  ~Carpe Dium..~ he thinks, and pulls her close, kissing
her, then rushing off to the main hall at a blistering pace,
getting his sword out.  Seeing the situation, he charges    
straight for Kyle.  Attempting to stop him, Kyle fires off a
quick TK blast.  It passes through Entropy, not even phasing
him.  ''What the-''  Kyle gets out before Entropy whips       
around, kicking him once and then again, this time into a   
wall.  UA looks puzzled.  ''How-''  Entropy looks at him, then
back at Kyle, sneering.  ''Ok, bounty 0001, I take it you    
don't get it.  I'm a fluidic being!  Your idiotic psionic   
powers don't work on me!''  Kyle staggers to his feet,       
visibly shaken from Entropy's attack.                       
  ''Bounty 0001?'' UA asks.                                   
  ''He's the biggest criminal on the hunter's network.       
''Responsible for at least 6 counts of global genocide, along 
with corruption of justice.  He gets into heroic            
organizations, enslaves them, and uses them to conquer the  
planet.  He'll then leave it to the Vile.  I'm pretty sure  
he did that to my homeworld.''                               
  ''But that would make him-''                                
  ''Over 100, at least.  He uses his psionics to keep himself
young.''  Kyle finally is up, and grabs Ganthet's sword.     
  ''Oh waterboy...''                                          
  The next second, the sword is through Entropy's gut, and  
he collapses as it is telekinetically thrown through him.   
  ''Ow...''  He says.                                         
  ''Entropy!''                                                
  ''Don't worry...I can heal this...It'll just...take...time.
Get him a couple for me, ok?''  He smiles weakly before      
passing out.
''What th' hell're you ramblin' 'bout?  I'm only 20!''        
''Maybe so, but you're also solid.''  UA delivers a fast      
punch.  Kyle erects a TK sheild and encases his fists in    
psionic energy.  He begins swingin at UA.  

~Hmm, Entropy may 
be mistaken.~ UA thinks.  ~The Kyle he knows may be an        
alternate version.  Belive me, I'd know.~                    
He dodges another attack.                                   
''Why'd you do it?  Why send me away and violate the CFs     
minds?''                                                     
''Simple.  Power.  Th' more ya got, the better off y'are.    
'Sides, when I was chosen fer this thing, I was guaranteed a
meanin'ful position.  Not a stupid rookie!  I been savin' my
world fer years, but here I'm a rookie!''  He blasts UA into 
a wall.  He stands up and wipes the blood from his mouth.   
He jumps up, but Kyle strikes him down.  ''Then, I saw what  
you got--friends, a home, power.  I wanted it.  I needed it!
It defines who I am!''  Kyle shoots another burst at UA.  he and sends out his hands.  They can't penetrate the   
shield.  Kyle delivers another blast and UA is down.  He    
walks up to UA, then transfers all his shield energy to his 
hands.  His eyes glow a bright gold.                       
''Why couldn't you have just stayed away?  I wouldn't've hurt
'em!  I just wanted t'lead 'em!''                            
Entropy begins to get up.  He pulls out a knife he has and  
stands.                                                     
''Now, I gotta kill ya.  I didn't want t'do that.''           
''F-fine by me.  I don't wanna do--THIS!'' UA stands and      
uppercuts him, sending him down and out.                    
''DIE!''  Entropy dives with the knife on Kyle.               
''NO!''  UA slides next to Kyle and holds up his hand, taking 
the knife through it.  ''GAAAAAAAAAAA!''                      
''What're you doing?!''                                       
''Crystal Fighters don't kill.  Not while I'm in charge.     
Besides, this isn't the Kyle you know.  He's not a          
powerhungry maniac, he's a spoiled brat.''  UA pulls the     
knife out of his hand and morphs the wound away.  Suddenly, 
the room is filled with a bright glow.                      
''Correct, bub.  But I'm afraid yer a little too late.''  They
look up to see Kyle in a dark robe with EUA next to him.     
''The Vile recruited this alternate Kyle.  Now, we have our  
own powerful weapon, and when the time comes, yer dead!''
''IM GONNA KILL YOU!'' Eme screams, her wounds having       
quickly healed, being a Crystalian, and not being knocked   
out. She charges the bad dudes, but gets pulled back 
by one of the CFs.

 Zelda finnaly regained consiousness, she blinked a few times
to clear her sight, but she was still seeing double.  Then  
she noticed that the doubles weren't in the same place nor  
doing the same thing, +Oy...2 UAs, 2 me's, 2 Nity's, now two
Kyle's?! Dissonance! Does EVERYONE have a twin??+ Suddenly  
she realized what had been going on, still only just past   
the verge of consiousness she was able to see that Kyle had 
been maniplulating them, but as soon as she came fully      
consious she would loose that realization.  

Tala skids to a stop inside the room, just in time to see another
Kyle? She groans slightly, this was too weird, even for her.    
Tala looks around quietly, trying to guess how many of the others
were still out.                                             
 She remains as quiet as possible, watching..waiting. 

+Come on Zelda you know how to do this...+ she told herself, thinking 
hard.One of the first things she had learned with Zaria was to  
join her consious and unconsious mind, mostly to retain     
knowledge and consiousness in the dreamworld. She wasn't    
sure, but she could hope it would work, there was always the
possiblity that Kyle would be able to shift her consiousness
fully back, but if she did it right it would very very hard 
for him to do so.  After planning all this in a couple      
seconds she took three more to put her plan into action.    
The outside world seemed to grow less real, she almost      
shifted her consiousness completly, but from somewhere her  
mind of nudged back toward the balance point. Her thoughts  
and glimses of the dreamworld took involuntary precedence   
over the real world, but she was able to divert enough      
attention to tell what was going on. Through this whole     
process she had turned into her more psychic and dreamworld 
oriented focus, Rydia.  

''Pathetic.'' Kyle and UA muttered in unison with a sneer.
With that, they disappear.  Entropy looks at UA.     
''We're not having a good night.''                            
''Really?  Let's see, you're the only one who knows me, the  
CFs wanna kill me, and now we got another dimensional clone 
running around for the Vile.  I'd say it's definately NOT a 
good night!''                                                
''So, what do we do?''                                        
''Tie them up.  We'll have to talk to them.''                 
''Right.''   
Eme ''Oh no. You aint tying me up mister. Quikly talk before I  
bust your head in!'' She said to UA.      
Pyro looks towards UA. ''I'm not sure what's goin on. But    
I'm the last person you should worry about, I just want     
some anwsers. You might know about those computers  I      
found. They're in my lab. All I've been able to hack outta    
them is the Call letters that repeat constantly 'UA' Do you 
know anything?''  
''Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do.'' Entropy says.        
''Joy.  Well, it all started when...''  And he tells the tale 
of what went on. 

  ''And so we finally got here, and you know the rest.''  UA  
concludes.                                                  
   Krakken stared at Entropy, his eyes dull with pain,     
''Exactly why are we supposed to believe this?  Your tale    
claims that everything we believe and have believed is      
false.  You lie.''   
  ''Why should we believe you?'' Eme snarled.                 
  ''Because of this.''  Entropy suddenly says, speaking up and
grabbing the pendant from Tala.  He turns to her. ''Don't    
worry, this won't hurt.''  He places the pendant to her      
forehead, mumbling a few inscrutable words.  Instantly, a   
blue glow flashes from her eyes, and she takes a sharp gasp.
''What...?  UA, Entropy?  What's going on?''  Entropy turns 
back to UA.  ''She'll regain her full memories back in a few 
minutes.  That's why I needed my pendant back.  It's a key  
talisman to a few spells I know.  One of them frees the mind
of any memory constraints.  They'll remember us at least,   
and we should be able to let them go.''  UA hesitates,       
thinking for a second.  ''Hey, boss man, either you keep     
talking or I start zapping, okay?''
As Pyro gains his memories back his eyes flare with anger.  
''I'm... gonna.... KILL EM'!! WHERE IS HE!! I'M GONNA MURDER 
THAT #$^#%&#%''  
The pendent made Zelda break her concentration, but she 
could 'see clearly' and remember things now without being   
only halfconsious. It was a relief not to have to try and   
keep that balance anymore.   
Ganthet's memories, buried less deep than some of the others
return.  ''Welcome back, Avenger.  And as for you....Entropy,
I'll have word with you later.  For now, Kyle is still our  
problem.''  
''No, not this Kyle.  We got bigger problems.'' UA says.  ''If 
the Vile have their own Kyle on their side, we may all be in
danger.''  He looks at Nity.  ''Take the CFs out to the       
training field and put them through workout 23-A.  Pyro,    
you, Ganthlet and I will head to the lab in the tower.  I   
may have some ideas.  Kisuitsu, you're on guard.  And       
Eme--I'll...talk to you later.  Move out.''                  
''Right!''  They all run out of the room.  Kisuitsu stops by  
UA.                                                         
''Er, sorry we tried to kill you.''                           
''S'okay.  Now move!''   
Entropy looks away, then slowly starts for the door, saying 
''I'm gonna check if Kyle left anything.''  Before rushing    
out.  He breaths a sigh of relief as he leaves the room.    
~Whew!~ he thinks.  ~I should probably lay low for a while  
until this all blows over.  They'll probably still want to  
lynch me after all this.~  

Glancing at Zelda, Eme slips off to her office, trying not  
to have eye contact with UA. Rupay is lead by Zelda and    
goes off to train.   

Meanwhile, Entropy continues to skulk about out of sight,   
trying to avoid running into any of the other CFs, at least 
those who would want him dead.  

Running towards the tower Pyro suddenly remebers ''You don't 
mean your lab, do you? It was destroyed, all I could        
salvage is in MY lab''      
''We'll make do.''  Inside the tower, UA has Ganthlet hooked  
up to a machine on a bed.                                  
''What are we doing?'' Pyro asks.                             
''I think we can fight psionics with harmonics.''             
''Wha--?''                                                    
''Simple.  Energy is energy, psionics, harmonics, it doesn't matter. Maybe
even energywise they're opposites.''        
Ganthlet's being is based on harmonics.  If we find a way to
intesify it--''                                              
''I can be used as a shield.'' Ganthlet says.                 
''Or, fire with fire.'' Pryo adds with a grin.
''Right.  But, being psionic energy is still ground          
untreaded, I can't guarantee this'll work or you'll survive 
the attempt.  But, this is purely voluntary.  You can       
get out, if you want.''  Ganthlet ponders.                   
                                                            
THE VILE LAIR 
                                              
''So, once we rid this world o' th' Crystal Fighters, I get  
some land?'' Kyle asks.                                      
''That's the deal.  But when the time comes to destroy them, 
only I get their leader.'' UA says with a smile.             
''Fine.  But I want Kyle.  I don't need th' competition.''  UA
puts an arm around him.                                     
''I think this is the beginning of a beautiful partnership.'' 

CASTLE

Entropy, meanwhile, hides out around the hallways, trying to
keep out of everyone's way.  Finally, he snags a dagger off 
a wall display.  ''Ok, let's see just how good Kyle's        
psionics are these days.''  He takes the dagger, slowly      
slittling his wrist with it.  His ''blood'' stains the       
dagger's edge, then is dripped across the entire thing.  He 
then regenerates the cut, and starts heading down to the    
tower where UA, Pyro, and Ganthet are.  He suddenly    
stops for a moment, reaching behind a corner.  Pulling his  
arm back, he also brings in Tala.                           
''Following me?''  He asks, a sardonic tone to his voice.   
''The way you've been treating me, one would think you'd be
happy about all this.'' With that, he hands her the dagger.  
''This should be good against kyle.  Keep it with you.''      
  ''I don't like knives.''                                    
  ''If you want to keep Kyle out of your head, keep it with  
you and be prepared to use it.''                             
  ''Fine.''  She says as Eme comes around from the opposite   
direction, enroute to her office.                           
  ''What...''  Suddenly, a bright flash appears before Tala   
and Entropy.  Almost immediately, it is gone.               
  ''Hey, what's going on?''  Eme says, waving a hand in front 
of their faces.                                             
  ''Did you see that?''  Entropy said, finally noticing.      
  ''See what?  I didn't see anything.''  Eme replies.  ''Now,  
weren't you looking for Kyle's old stuff, or are you just   
going to try and betray us again?'' 
''Shut up.  You know as well as I do Kyle's as bad as they 
come.  Besides, the Vile doublecrossed me once.  I won't    
give them the chance to do it again.''  He then sneers at    
her.  ''And if you had seen even a fraction of what I've seen
Kyle and his Vile buddies do, you would beg to be killed.''  
He then starts down another hallway, turning only to say,   
''My path is black, I know that.  But don't ever think I     
would be so far gone as to destroy the people that helped   
me.''                                                        
After that, he vanishes, disappearing into the shadows.   
Tala shakes her head slightly as he goes, then turns to go down  
the hallway that she been going down, before he had grabbed 
her. Following him, hah. What an ego.                    
Eme, already having been suicidal in her past, shrugs off Entropy's     
remark and finally gets to her office which is the otherway 
across the castle. She hurries up so UA wouldn't notice her   
pass the doorway. 
 
THE COURTYARD

Nity continues to try and shake away the confusion as he and
Zelda converse over the matters which have arose.          
Then Zelda thinks of Sentinei and the battle that he told   
her, Tala, Zealen, and Rupay and the others about.          
''I hope he can do it.'' says Nity.                            
''He must succeed and we must help him by keeping chaos to a 
minimum.'' Zelda responds with an encoraging smile.                                        
Nity nods but is unsure if they will be able to do what's needed.    
 Zelda unconsiously noticed Nity's unsureness, ''Nity, it'll  
be fine, Sentinei's a demigod after all.'' 
                                                           
VILE LAIR
                                                   
Dolomite reaches his hand out to shake the hand of a man in 
the shadows; the alliance is sealed.
