Somewhere beyond space and time a Circle worked. It was a small
Circle of only five members, but it was strong and it worked hard to stop
violence and other things that
went against their high morals. The Circle was preparing for something.
They all wore light, but long hooded robes, the color of midnight and each
had a similarly colored tattoo on their foreheads. The tattoo was in the
shape of an upside-down crescent, but the way it connected with their
eyebrows it looked like the Greek letter "omega". These siblings of the
Circle lived in an area that, for lack of a better way to explain, was part
of the Dreamworld.
Tonight they were to look in the Sacred Scrying Glass, which was
really a round "bubble" of aqua-blue colored 'liquid' that shimmered with
it's own inner light and floated above them in the middle of the area. They
walked on nothing at all, as if there was no gravity, or maybe an invisible
floor, but they could walk upward and downward wherever they wanted with
nothing even resembling stairs in a space emptier than the area between
stars, planets and other matter in universes, with the exception of the
floating sphere and hooded figures. The area was dark, but not sinister,
and from somewhere the room was lit as if it were just beyond dusk, or a
night lit by candles. But no light source was visible.
Soon the event began, all of the robed figures moved into their
designated places, forming a circle around, and a little below the Sacred
Scrying Glass. One, a female wearing the only jewelry visible among them,
an upside-down silver crescent on a chain, reached upward with her hands
toward the Sacred Scrying Glass, the rest followed her motions and began a
low, intense chant in a language known only to those of the Circle. The
pale-skinned leader, lowered one hand and raised another, immediately the
group separated into not two, but three parts in a beautifully resonant
cord of perfectly tuned and pure notes. Then their leader brought her
hands down and the music was reduced to a soft hum in the background.
She called out a few words, again in that same language, calling for
guidance.
There was a bright flash of light and then it was gone, except
for a pale halo of light that surrounded the Sacred Scrying Glass. The
scene depicted was one of horror, all of the
members of the Circle paled as they saw it. A Crystal-wielding team was
shown, and also a possibility for their future.....
Reality 1
Zelda woke up and looked around, she was in her room in Eme's
castle. For a moment
nothing seemed strange about it, then she remembered, the
castle had been destroyed, she
was supposed to be on a ship, what was going on?! She ran
out of her room and collided
with Nity. She breathed a sigh of relief to see someone
familiar in the familiar and yet
not...wait a minute, she wasn't in a castle, this place was
made out of wood, like a cabin.
"Nity what's happened?!" He gave her a strange look, after steadying himself.
"What're you talking about Zel?" she waved her arms around,
indicating just about everything, "Where ARE we?! And
where's everyone else??" "We're in Tilmaria...where else
would we be?" "Tilmaria?! We're ~supposed~ to be in
Cry-..well, now a space ship. Where IS everyone?" she asked
again. "Who?" "The other Crystal Fighters of course!"
"Huh? Other Crystal Fighters? But..remember, we're the only
ones that accepted our Crystals..there IS no one else..."
"But..what about Pyro and Entropy and UA and Tala and
Rupay??" Before he could answer a little girl came into the
room, she ran up to Zelda and hugged her, "Mommy!" she cried
out happily, "You're awake!" Zelda looked at Nity, "and who
is she?!" +Uh-oh..she's in denial...again..+ Nity thought
sadly.
Reality 202
Eme woke up suddenly. She was all sweaty. The last thing
she remembered was fighting Entropy. Why? The Evil Serum!
She walks to her closet and pulls out a nice velvet
dress with long sleeves that went off her shoulders. She
slipped into her shoes and went to join the other CFs for
breakfast.
UA was the only one there, and he wasn't in his regular
clothes. His clothes were native-style. A
long sleeved shirt, a black vest and black leather
pants. He was eating steak and
eggs. ''Hello hunny." He said as he noticed her walk into
the room. "Hello, I think" She said confused. She sat
down to a plate of the same food and looked at UA. "Where
is everyone?" She asked. "KIDS! COME AND EAT BREAKFAST!."
He called to a door. It flew open and 5 children came out.,
3 boys; 4, 6, & 10, and 2 girls; 8 and 10. The 10 year olds
were twins, genes from Eme's family. The 5 gave their
parents a kiss and a hug and then sat at their respected
seats and began to eat. Eme had thought the plates were for
the other CFs. She looked dumbfounded. With her mouth wide
opened she stared at UA. "I meant the other CFs...not
children." She said. "Dear, are you having an episode
again? We all miss them but you have to admit it. Zelda and
Nity are ruling Majiska. Tala and
Entropy went back to Tala's home to start a family and Rupay
is dead. We defeated the Vile and other villains years
ago." Eme fainted.
Reality 4
Ganthet woke with a jolt. This was not the ship! It looked
a little like the castle, but also like a building from UA's
world. He heard people outside. And on top of that, his
red trunks and boots had been replaced with blue ones. And
there was a four on the belt buckle, which was crystal. He
walks out and sees three others. UA, Nity, and Zelda. It
was a cross between UA's world and the Crystalia,
half medieval half modern. "What in the name of Valen is
going on here?"
Ultra Avenger...he assumed that's who it was, his
harmonics matched, looked up from some document. His neck
stretched out towards the crystal man. He knew UA had
morphing powers, but that was ridicules. "What's up old
friend?"
"Where are WE?" "Our home, Crystal Four Tower."
"WHAT?!"
"What'da ya mean what?" asked Nity. He was playing with
fire...literally, as in producing it naturally.
Zelda, muttered something and a near invisible stream of
water lifted the cup of coffee to her.
This would be a long day.
Reality 5
"Gyaah!" Entropy, well, gyaahs as he awakens. Looking
around, he tries to catch his bearings. "Ok, old man Dhaens
had just showed up with the Omicron, not a stone left in the
castle, got that much," He suddenly notices where he is.
"What the...Where-" He leaps to his feet, looking out the
nearby window. "...ooookay, I am now completely lost. Last
time I looked outdoors, there was SOMETHING out there..."
Outside, it is black. Just black. No stars, no landscape,
nothing. Entropy suddenly hears something from nearby. He
turns around, looking at the bed. "Oh monkey, what now?"
"Entropy? What's wrong?" Tala says as she sits up.
Entropy bugs his eyes for a moment, his shoulders slumping.
"Uhm, ah, nothing...Tala. I'll be right back...." He
then calmly walks out, heading down the hallway of what
appears to be the Dragonstar. He ducks into another room,
slamming the door shut and burying his face in his hands.
"Aw, man, where am I??"
"Entropy? You can't lie to me, what's wrong?" Entropy
comes out of the room, looking straight at Tala. "Uhm, I
know this is gonna sound a little...weird, but...Where're the
other CFs, and where are we?"
"Hm, I knew it was boring out here, but I never thought
amnesia would be a problem."
"Don't start, just please explain."
"You don't remember? We defeated the vile, and we all
went to go celebrate. You and I took the Dragonstar and got
stuck in null space. We've been here for the past 2 years,
love. You can't be serious that it all slipped your mind."
"Uhm, yeah, of course. Just...joking. Didn't mean to get
you worried."
"It's all right. Not as if I haven't had to deal with it
the past 2 years."
"Yeah, good point...."
Reality 84
Nity woke to the smell of bacon and eggs. His eyes popped
opened to see the wooden walls surrounding him. He shot up in
bed, more like a couple of blankets and a pillow on the
floor. ~Where am I?~ he thought searching his memory. The last
he remembered was fighting the Giant Vile. ~I must have been
knocked unconscious, but where am I?~ then he remembered the
castle had been destroyed. ~I must be at one of the villages...~
Nity walked over to the wall where a broken mirror hung.
He looked at the reflection noticing the huge scar running
across his forehead. ~I guess I went through a lot in the
battle with the Giant Vile.~ He then hears humming from the
next room. He pushed open the door and saw a woman, with her
back turned to him, bending over a fireplace holding a
skillet over it; bacon fried in the skillet. She hummed a
sweet melody. "Excuse me--" Nity tapped the woman on the
shoulder.
The woman turned around "Oh your finally up."
Her features showed that she was part elven and part
dwarven. The features were so familiar yet so distant. He
hadn't seen them in such a long time.
"Mom?"
Reality 1
Rupay woke up with a jolt. She looked around. Where am
I? "ZELDA!" She screamed, a bit scared. She threw on a
robe that was by her bed and walked around till she found
Nity and Zelda. "Morning hunny." Nity said, kissing her
passionately. She jumped back in amazement. "Uh" She looked
at Zelda. "Not you too!" Nity said. "Mommy? Why haven't
you kissed Auntie Rupay this morning?" The little girl asked.
"Umm..sorry..I just forgot I guess.." Zelda said. She decided she might
as well go along with this. It couldn't hurt. Besides, maybe this was
normal...maybe she just had a memory lapse.. Then she kissed Rupay on the
cheek. "No, like you always do, on the lips!" Wide-eyed Zelda pecked
Rupay on the lips. "Mommy, are you okay? You didn't open your
mouth..like Uncle Nity did to Auntie Rupay." the child
said. It took Rupay a moment to figure it out. Zelda and I
are lesbians?! "Zelda...umm..~hunny~, can we talk a minute?" She
dragged Zelda out and back to the bedroom.
"Where are we...what's with Nity and that child...and why can I
see?" "I have no idea!" Zelda exclaimed, glad that she wasn't the only
one thinking this was so strange. "It's so odd..I doubt that we've both
gone crazy..but then that little girl and Nity..it's as if everything is
uhh..normal for them. If we're both crazy we'd probably remember
different things..or something..so, what I remember is that recently
the castle in Crystalia was wrecked and we had to move to the space
ships..Pyro's and Entropy's..etc.. and there are many more
CFs...is that how you remember things?"
Reality 666 (Aldezaar)
"We have to find someplace to li..." Krakken looked
around him, at a too familiar world. It was all there...
the arena, the brothels, the taverns, the guildhalls, the
slavetraders... the PEOPLE. His people, the only people
that could understand him. People that he couldn't help but
reach out to. People that hated him.
"There he is! Let's get that filthy murderer out of our
town!"
Krakken couldn't help but wince; this scene was all too
familiar. In seconds, the mob would careen around the
corner... in fact, they were here now. And at their head
was... "YOU!! You started all of this! You did that to
her! you did that to us!"
Reality 9,999,999,999,999,991
UA wakes up. Same old crystal dimension, he thinks. He
opens up a teleportal and steps into the--real...world? He
looks around. Everything is not only distorted, but it
looks like everything's been stretched upwards in his
apartment back home? he looks up at the speck of a ceiling.
"Er, Rebel?" he morphs his PJs into his costume and pulls
his mask on. He looks around then hears the crack of a
whip. He turns to find Eme decked out in leather, complete
with high boots and gloves, and a mask. She cracks the
whip.
"Morning, lover." UA looks around.
"Lover? Eme, we're not--lovers."
"But, isn't that what you wanted to talk to me about?" she
asks in a sexy voice.
"Yeah, but I think you went in the opposite direction I
wanted to."
"Are you...rejecting me?"
"Rejecting you? Eme, don't get me wrong, I like you a
lot...as a friend, but I don't want to risk you getting hurt
over me. And, you mind telling me what happened to the
Dragon Star?"
"One thing you have to learn, lover." She sends the whip
around his neck and drags him down to her feet.
"HKKGH!"
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Especially, this
one."
Reality 13
Tala woke with a jerk, brown gaze moving around the room.
Five pairs of concerned eyes looked back at her. "Queen
Tala.. are you alright?"
"I'm..I'm fine. I didn't mean to doze off..."
"No worries, my Queen. Briefs have always bored you. we were
just telling you that the rebels have been stopped."
She frowned, rebels? Queen? What was this?
"Humor me.. where are the Fighters?"
"The fighters?" "Yes..the Fighters! Where are they?!?"
The scribe jumped back. Ever since she had defeated Nokomis,
and gotten the last crystal, her moods could change;
instantly. "The fighters..are out..fighting.."
He finished lamely. Then sat down. Her eyes took on a
decidedly black hue, as she rose.
"I meant the Crystal Fighters! Where are they?"
"Oh..them..." Another voice spoke up.
"They are all retired, remember?"
Her gaze went to the new arrival. Sighing, she rubbed her
forehead. None of this was right. Something was going on.
"Very well, Commander Entropy... Everyone else, leave."
She sank back into her chair, everyone left except him. He
took a chair to the left side of her. "Don't you remember?"
Tala just gazed at him, totally lost. However, it had been
drummed into her at a young age, never show a weakness. Even
to those you trust most.
"Of course..of course I remember. I just..fell asleep
during a brief..I must have had a dream.."
He reached over, and lightly took her hand.
"It's the rebellion, My Queen. No one wishes to return to
the light side. They grew rich on corruption, and darkness.
And the lies. Don't worry, tomorrow, they will all bow to
you, as they did to your mother."
"I hope so Entropy..I truly hope so."
Reality 5
~Okay,~ Entropy thought, scanning over the ship's log.
~plenty of differences here. Nity and Zelda, married 3
years ago. Eme and UA disappeared after the Vile were
destroyed, like us. Now as for the others...~ He then pulls
up the CF roster. ~What the...Who are these people? Ariah
of the Imani? Daedalus and Solemnity? What's with this?~
Finally, he looks over the timelines. ~All right, now this
is getting weird. By this it says that Phyllite is the Vile
leader, while Dolomite is our major threat. Not only that,
but Evil UA...Saving Eme at the last second and nuking the
Vile lair? This is all too much.~ He closes up the history
files, then opens the ship's log, skipping to what happened
2 years ago. A vidscreen of he and Tala piloting the
Dragonstar appears.
"Ship's log, book 2, opening entry. This is Entropy of
the Crystal Fighters, I'll be captaining this ship from now
on. I still can't believe that Pyro actually sold us this
thing. Even so, it's not like he needed it, with that new
cybernetic body and all. I've made a few modifications, and
they should make this trip excellent for any length of trip.
We've just been able to defeat the Vile last week, and the
lot of us are going out to celebrate. Tala(Ahem) asked to
ride with me while the others use the Omicron to get to
Saldere IV, where I've been informed a feast is waiting for
us. We hope to get there on time, but we're running a
little late as is, and we all know how much Zelda's looking
foreword to this. We-" The peaceful reverie was suddenly
interrupted by blaring klaxons and a red light flashing
through the room. "Oh #$@!!" Entropy cursed, as a bright
explosion blossomed before them. A bright flash filled the
room, and the log ended.
"Hm. When we were still out of here. Gotten hard to
remember all that. Even so, I wish the logs still worked
after all that. I really wished I could've written down the
next year." Tala said, leaning over the chair Entropy, the
real Entropy, was sitting in. "I'm almost grateful that we
showed up in here for this long, or I wouldn't have known."
She came over next to him, giving him a long, passionate
kiss. "I just wish there was something we could do around
here other than try and find a way out."
"I know...." Entropy said, trying to think up something
plausible. "Even so, it's an easy way to kill time. I was
going back over the log, to see if we missed anything."
Tala took a quick look at the screen. "Hey, do you remember
back when Ariah finally tested that weapon Pyro had invented
for him?"
"No, refresh my memory." Entropy said, using his best
acting skills to play along.
Reality 13
She sat at the end of a long table..it reminded her of the
table back at the other Castle. But something had happened
to it...she wasn't sure. High ranking officials sat along the
sides at the table. At the other end, sat the person who
became ruler if anything happened to her. Her younger
brother..who had lived, despite everything Nokomis had done
to him. However, she had infused him with enough hate for
her (Tala)..that he was trying to take the throne. But, she
loved him..he was family. Entropy sat to her right, as a
guest of honor. He leaned over, murmuring something for her
ears alone. "I do not trust him, My queen. You shouldn't
allow him to stay."
She sighed. He had warned her about it earlier, but she had
to try. Well, until they had proof that he was the one
promoting the attacks. Everyone knew it..they just couldn't
prove it. At the moment, the doors to the dining hall were
flung open, and a rider strode in. He kneeled before Tala,
then handed her a small sheet of paper. She thanked him,
then quickly scanned the contents of the letter. Wordlessly,
she handed it to Entropy, who then read it; and nodded.
Two guards moved towards her brother, as she rose.
"Alec..you are hereby accused of high treason. Plotting
against the Kingdom, against the Light..", and then softly..
"Your own family, and blood as well.."
Her voice rose again. "Guards..take him away. I will deal
with him later."
She then sat down, placed her face in her hands, and began
to sob.
~If this a nightmare..or a dream..I want to wake up now.~
The thought ran through her mind...

Eme continues to choke UA with the whip.
"Spurn me, lover? I don't think so." UA morphs his hand
into a knife and cuts her hand with the whip off. The blood
spurts out as he rolls away.
"You know, I realized something. One, this reality is
totally screwed. Two, Eme would never have heard of that
kind of outfit until the 1900's of my world, so basically
this is all a crock." He drop kicks "Eme" and sends her
into a wall, knocking her out. He looks upwards.
"You like messing with people's minds? Bet that's what
happened to the other CFs, isn't it." He sits down on the
floor and begins to meditate.
"Time for a psionic backlash." He moves his hands by his
face, then looks up and pulls them to the side.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Then, that world goes dark.
Reality 4
Ganthet just stares at the other three. Crystal FOUR, not
Fighters?! This was just not right.
"Big lug's gone crazy," says Nity. He seemed younger than
Ganthet remembered, a teenager.
"You ok, Gan?" asks Zelda with a note of concern.
"Your amnesia could be an after effect of your battle with
Blastar, the Vile bomb burst," says UA, looking for all the
world like he was devoting 10 % of his brain to this and the
rest to astrophysics.
"Um...yes...that's it. Amnesia..."
"Since when do you talk like that?" quips Nity. "Where's the
Cry-Brokly accent?"
WHAT WAS GOING ON? HAD HE STEPPED INTO THE TWIGHLIGHT ZONE?!
Universe -3
Pyro looks around seeing smoldering wreckage everywhere. He
looks in the distance to see Godzilla destroying what appeared to be,
St. Louis? "I've fallen into an old bad movie.... Oh well, I've
always wanted to start a fight with Godzilla." As he walked
closer he noticed Godzilla getting smaller and smaller.
"What th?" Godzilla roared as loud as a mouse. Pyro laughed
then kicked him into the sea. "Now I'm in a REALLY bad
movie."
Reality 1
"That's exactly what I remember...we have to think of
something fast, they think we are lesbians!" She exclaimed.
"Uhh..yeah, I noticed. Okay, something is REALLY wrong..
this can't be any kind of joke..there aren't any houses on
those space ships I don't ~think~ and where would they get a
little girl?" "One that looks so much like you." Zelda
nodded, "Yeah.."
Just then the little girl came in while a
call from Nity, "Shasta! Don't interrupt them!" could be
heard through the door. She called back with annoyance,
"They're not busy!" Zelda decided to continue pretending that nothing
was wrong, for the moment. She picked up the girl and gave
her a hug, feeling a strange connection with her, "Shasta
dear, Rupay and I are going to go take a nice walk outside,
all right?" The girl sighed and nodded, "Oh okay..but don't
go away too long!"
Once they had gotten out of the house, Zelda wasn't sure
what to say to Rupay, she had no idea what was going on.

The Sacred Scrying Glass showed the Crystal Fighters attacking the
Vile to extinction. After a minute or two the vision in the Sacred Scrying
Glass wavered and then vanished. "Our path is set, we must stop the
Crystal Fighters, a great evil is to destroy a life, but an even greater
one is to be the cause of extinction." Their leader said with a
fanatic lilt in her voice. As rest of the Circle started to sit down on
nothingness and remove their hoods, one gave their leader a troubled look,
she had noticed the nature of the Vile, and wondered why their leader had
not. "Mother," the girl said, coming up to their leader as she used the
term all the Circle-members used for their leader, "What if we are
supposed to help the Crystal-holders, and not those creatures..." she was
afraid that what she had seen was a vision from one of the Dark Ones and
wanted to make sure first, she decided to be ruled by her leaders decision.
"Ziyaluah! I created this Circle to help those in
need, and stop those that destroy life, our mission is never complete and
our most recent guidance has been shown to us. The ones that destroy life
in the Eternal Vision are the Crystal-holders, isn't that right?" Then
she quoted, " 'To live by violence is to invite it.' We shall not be harsh
with them, but they must be stopped." The girl nodded as her leader
took of her hood to reveal amazing purple eyes and long jet black hair,
"Yes Arch Mage Rydia Lunaris." she said, using her mother's full title.
Not only was she a Circle member, but Rydia truly was her mother. Not
long after creating the Circle she had taken a consort for a time, soon
riding herself of the inconvenience after Ziyaluah was born. Ziyaluah
bowed her head in understanding then left to get some rest, asking
for guidance was a taxing effort.
Reality 202
She awoke in her bed again, undressed wearing only a robe.
UA sat by her side. She remembered what UA had said before
she fainted. "What about Pyro and Ganthet?" She asked.
"Dear, they went off traveling to other worlds. We just got
word that they just recently married."' Eme almost died
then, Ganthet married? ~PYRO~ married?? Seemed more likely that he would
blow up a potential wife than marry one. ''Get some sleep." He said
kissing her nose and walking off.
IN UA's OFFICE
"Yes, she had another episode. With the way her mind is
working, she won't ever find out about us." UA spoke into a
small microphone.
The voice spoke up. "But dear UA," The voice was
Phyllite's "She thinks you are your brother, and you
had sex with her! I'm not comfortable with this plan. I love
you." She said.
"It's only to make it realistic. She isn't any good in bed
anyway." He lied to her...He was beginning to form an
obsession Eme, it wasn't love. He know that. His heart isn't
capable of love. He doesn't even love Phyllite. "I love you
too dear. Soon the time will come when Eme will have a
little accident. I can raise Eric up to be just like me and
rule Crystalia in darkness. And I will bring you to the
thrown as my new queen."

Ganthet then noticed something he'd been too dazed to see.
