ell Met! I am Loremaster Jorel. Welcome Friends and Travelers to my humble abode; The Spire of Wisdom. What is this Spire I speak of and it’s purpose, ye ask? ‘Tis a very interesting question that…one without a complicated answer. ‘Tis more than just a structure, or a tower made of blocks of stone and mortar. ‘Tis more than just an edifice for people such as thineself to seek out. 'Tis more than a place of knowledge and unique oddities. But, I ramble on, something not unusual for me when I speak of that which I am proud. Let me pause, enjoy a sip from my tankard while ye come and sit a wee moment, and I shall be happy to explain more by less whimsical means, and perhaps should time allow, share with ye a tale or two.

he Spire of Wisdom is my humble offering to Oghma; my sanctuary and Holy Ground. Who is Oghma, ye ask? All in good time my friend! This structure encompasses a great deal of the wisdom and knowledge that is ever so important to the Realms today. 'Tis a place where people such as ye come to seek enlightenment. Now just because 'tis a temple, does not mean we do not welcome people or hide things from thine eyes. Nay, on the contrary me friend! Knowledge is a powerful force, and all are allowed to delve in it's rewards. Already, ye have learned the first dictum of Oghma, the God of Knowledge of Faerûn, and The Forgotten Realms.

he Temple Complex consists of many different areas and sections. Firstly, there are the Grounds and Gardens. Acolytes typically wander here for peace and solitude, while debating the questions of life and the mysteries of the multiverse. Next there are the many places within the Sanctuary itself. Ye are welcome to climb the Spire of Wisdom, to my personal quarters. When not traveling the Realms, I am most often found here, in silent contemplation. Then there is the Great Library of Oghma. 'Tis truly a wonder to behold, and contains many ancient and well-worn texts and tomes on knowledge both common and forgotten, of the Realms. Many a visitor and acolyte spend a great deal of time there..myself included. But do take heed and use caution...For it would be the greatest of sins to damage or harm any of the ancient and sacred librams. Next is the Shrine. A place where all of worth and piety pay thine respects to "The Binder" and seek Divine Inspiration. Ye are most welcome to pray, and make offerings there if ye desire. Perhaps, Oghma himself will find ye worthy and grant ye a wise revelation. Then there is the Hall of Arches. A wonderful place where ye may wander amongst the archways. Those truly worthy, often find a portal within the arches that takes them to distant friends and relatives. Lastly, there are the Catacombs...A place where many of the Great Martyrs and Faithful of Oghma lie in eternal rest. 'Tis rumoured that those who brave the underhalls in search of answers are often granted that knowledge they seek by the spirits of the Faithful. Now there ye be. Feel free to go forth and seek out that which interests ye. Perhaps ye will find other items, or see visions that I have not detailed. 'Tis not uncommon for pious petitioners.

ake thineself comfortable for much awaits. Ye are most welcome to explore the temple and grounds freely; there is little to hide and ye are encouraged to explore. Alas, my many duties call, and I must attend to them. Thus, I cannot speak further to ye, as much as I would care to. However, enjoy thine visit and may blessed Oghma shine wisdom upon thee as ye continue thine search for knowledge and desired lore.
