LISA

The whole car ride to the hospital seemed to take forever, when they got to the office, the nurse told them that he doctor had an emergency and wasn't there so his assitant would have to look at Christine.

Chris: "That's fine" She startes to walk toward the room when AJ grabbed her arm.

AJ: "No, it's not, we made an appointement with her doctor and he should be here. I don't want no ammature to look at you."

Chris: "Alexander James, you're embarassing me. I want to find out now, today wheither I'm pregnant with your child, do you understand me?" With that she walked into the doctor's room and shut the door hard behing her.

AJ was dying to find out if Christine was pregnant. He was praying with all his heart that she wouldn't be pregnant when the doctor opened the door and asked him to come in. AJ sat down next to Christine and took her hand in his

Dr: " Well sir, your wife-"

AJ: "My girlfriend."

Dr: "Well your girlfriend is pregnant, I would like the 2 of you to come back when the doctor is in to let to let you know when the baby is due."

The whole car ride home, the doctor's words echoed in AJ's mind "your girlfriend is pregnant." Christine didn't say anything either, she couldn't believe that she had a part of Aj growing inside of her. Even now that she knew for a fact that she was pregnant, just thinking about it made her cringe. She placed her hand on her tummy. What was she going to do? Was she actually thinking of havinng an abortion? Should she have the baby? How could AJ do this to her? Those were just a couple of questions and thoughts runing thru her mind.

Kev & Nick were sitting at the kitchen table, when the phone rang, Nick picked it up.

Nick: "Hello-yeah, it's me-Hi, how are you?-fine-How'd you get this number?-Donna?-oh-yeah, me and the guys-yeah, some girls, yes our girlfriends- yeah, Lisa-sure she's great-OK shoot (long pause)No! I can't leave Lisa-No! I lost her once, I won't lose her again! I love her-Listen-fine-Goodbye."

He hung out the phone in anger and plopped down in a chair.

Kev: "Hey, what's wrong?"

Nick: "That was my mom."

Kev: "Yeah, and?"

Nick: "Well she wants me to come home."

Kev: "So, what's wrong with that ?"

Nick: "She meant permanently."

Kev: "Oh."

Nick: "Yeah."

Kev: "So, are you gonna tell Lisa?" at that moment Lisa walks in.

Lis: "Tell Lisa what?"

Nick: "Oh, nothing much. Just that my Mom called."

Lis: "Well, what did she have to say?"

Kev: "Um, I have to get going..um..I'm meeting Caro soon, see you guys later."

Lisa noticed that Nick was looking down at the floor and couldn not make eye contact with her.

Lis: "Nick, what's wrong? What did she say?" she gently lifted his head up and looked him directly in the eyes.

Nick: "She wants me to come home."

Lis: "For a visit?"

Nick: "No, that's the problem, she wants me to come home permantly."

Lis: "Oh.." She let go of his face and looked away, the silence seemed defening.

Nick: "And she wants me to come home alone, even after I told her about you, about us and how much you I love you."

Lisa could feel her heart breaking and her dreams starting to slip away.

Lis: "I see, when are you leaving?" her voice started to crack.

Nick: "The plane would be leaving in 2 days but I can't leave you, I love you too much."

Lis: "It looks to me like you don't have much of a choice..." by this time she had tears in her eyes. "and I want you to be happy, so please go."

Nick reached out to hold her, but she pushed him away.

Lis: "Please, this is hard enough as it is-"

Nick: "I can't leave you."

Lis: "You have to, so let's say good bye now because I won't be able to bear it in two days." She leaned over and kissed his mouth ever so softly while gently caressing his face and then backed way.

Lis: "Please try to keep your distance from me cuz it will only hurt me more.." She had tears trickling down her cheeks. "Good bye..." She turned and walked out of the rom leaving Nick standing there, all he could feel was pain running through his body. He reached out to sturdy himself but instead fel to the floor.

Lisa was sitting on her bed hugging the hite teddy bear that Nick had given her, it still carried the strong scent of his cologne. She was crying her heart out when she heard a knock at the door.

Lis: "Who is it?"

Amanda: "It's me Amanda, can I come in?"

Lisa wiped away the tears from her face and fixed her hair, "Come in". Amanda walked in and she could see that Lisa had been crying, she sits down next to her.

Amanda: "Lis, what's wrong?"

Lis: "Oh nothing much except for the fact that Nick is moving back to Florida in two days..." She started to cry again.

Amanda: "Oh my God!When did you find out? Are you ok?"

Lis: "He told me about 1/2 hour ago, his mom had just called, I think that she told him to choose between his family and me, well us." Amanda gave Lisa a hug and told her not to cry.

Lis: "It old him to go cuz I loved him and wanted him to be happy, but he told me that he didn't want to leave me. Some choice he had..."

Amanda: "I'm sure he doesn't want to leave you, look at how much he loves you."

Lis: "I know, it's just that I wished I didn't love him so, so maybe it wouldn't hurt so much."

Amanda: "Well, at least you two still have 2 days left together."

Lis: "No we don't, I told him that I didn't want to be with him cuz it would only hurt us more so I said good bye today."

Amanda: "Don't worry, please don't cry, I'm sure things will work out." She gave Lisa another hug.

Lis: "Thanks for understanding Amanda but I think I want to be alone now." She turned over onto her stomach and burried her head into a pillow crying. Amanda gets up and quietly closed the door behing her & went off to find the others.

Meanwhile downstairs Brian found Nick sitting on the floor with red puffy eyes.

Brian: "Hey Nick, what's wrong?" He sat down next to Nick

Nick told Brian the story, trying not to cry.

Brian: "Oh man, I'm so sory. Are you sure you have to leave?"

Nick: "You think I'd be this upset otherwise?"

Brian: "Sorry, I didn't mean to -"

Nick: "That's ok but I wish that I could bring Lisa with me. I love her so much, I must have broken her heart, ugh, what am I going to do?"

Brian: "Maybe I can talk to her..."

2 Days later.

Lisa had spent those days in her room, not eating and not talking to anyone. She just couldn't accept the fact that the one person she loved most in the world was leaving her.

Downstairs everyone was saying good bye to Nick, but he wasn't paying attention to that, he kept looking up at the top of the stairs just hoping that just maybe Lisa would be standing there, but no. Just as he was about leave he handed a paper to Brian.

Nick: "Brian, please give this to Lisa." He handed Brian an enveloppe and then closed the door. Everyone stopped talking and they all heard that Lisa had started to cry again.

Brian walked into the bedroom and saw that Lisa was sitting on a couch starring out the window, crying, while cluthing the teddy bear tightly in he rarms.

Brian: "Lis, Nick wanted me to give this to you" He walked over and handed her the letter "please don't cry." he wrapped his arms around her trying to comfort her. "why don't you come downstairs with the rest of us and try to get your mind off of him." He took her hand aand brought her downstairs to where the others were listeing too music. But 2 hours later she couldn't take watching them all laughing, talking, dancing, so she got up and went to Nick's room. Everything was just like he had left it. Lisa turned on the stereo and sat down on his bed and opened the letter that she still held in her hand.

Dearest Lisa, it read How could a love so strong suddenly become so weak. I love you with all of my heart even if you might not love me.

At this point she notices a picture enclosed in the letter, it's of her and Nick in each others arms.

Lis: "Why me? I love him so much. Someone came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "And I love you too." She looked up to gaze into Nicks beautiful eyes, she jumped up and hugged him.

Nick: "I would never be able to leave you, you're a part of me and without you I think I would die." He leaned over and gently kissed her lips.

CAROLINE

Christine was sitting on the couch in the den thinking about what the doctor had said. She was pregnant, how could this happen, to her especiallly her, she wanted to be free right now, not to spend every 24 hours with a helpless child. AJ entered the den, looking thoughtful.

AJ: "Chris, can we talk?"

Chris: "I really don't want to talk to you right now."

AJ: "You can't put this off forever, you're, you're..."

Chris: "Pregnant! I have to think about my options."

AJ: "What do you mean? You can't possibly be thinking about having an abortion, can you?"

Chris: "Not that I have to tell you, but yes I am."

AJ: "What? No, you can't, the baby is mine also."

Chris: "Maybe, but it's in my body. You don't get to make the decision here, I do. I'm in charge of my body, I decide."

AJ: "You can't be serious! I'm trying to be responsible here."

Chris: "Maybe if you had been I wouldn't be in this position right now."

AJ: "Don't you dare blame this on me, don't you dare. I won't let you get rid of it, it's a human being!"

Chris: "So am I, don't you see that?"

Nick & Lisa woke up in each others arms. Nick was talking on the phone with his mom, he thought Lisa was sleeping.

Nick: "No mom, I won't and that's final."

Mom: "Why? For this girl? Did you ever wonder if she's worth throwing your family away?"

Nick: "Lisa is worth evrythinng in the world."

Mom: "I can't fight with you anymore, but do you really think she would love you if you weren't in a Backstreet Boy?"

Nick: "Whatever, bye Mom."

Mom: "Bye, Nick."

Lisa couldn't believe that Nick was really willing to hurt his parents so much for her, but by the look on his face she knew he was hurting too and wondered if she did the right thing. Nick turned to look at her and she quickly closed her eyes. Nick, thinking she was sleeping, creeped out quietly.

Nick went into Kevin's room, Kev was in there with Caro.

Nick: "Um, can we talk, um , alone?"

Caro: "I was just leaving" kissing Kev good-bye.

Nick: "Sorry, Caro."

Caro: "Don't worry about it."

Nick closed the door behind her.

Kev: "Hey Nick, what's wrong?"

Nick: "I talk to my mom this morning."

Kev: "And, how did it go?"

Nick: "Better than I thought, she said that I was old enough to do what I wanted, but it's something else she said that has me thinking."

Kev: "What did she say?"

Nick: "She said Lisa wouldn't be in love with me if I wasn't a Backstreet Boy."

Kev: "Wow! Nick, c'mom that's crazy! Of course she would, you know that, right?"

Nick: "Yeah, I do. I just wanted to make sure, you know?"

Kev: "Yes I do, now go see her and tell her how much you love her."

Nick: "Alright, thanks man."

Kev: "No problem."

As Nick walked out the door, Kev was thinking about what Nick had told him just as Caro walked into his room.

Caro: "What was that about?"

Kev: "Nothing, just guy things, you know?"

Caro: "Sure, now how about you bring your guy lips over to my girl lips?"

Kev: "Actually Caro I wanted to talk to you."

Caro: "About what?"

Kev: "Aghh, nothing."

Caro: "C'mom, tell me."

Kev: "I love you, you know?"

Caro: "I know that's not what you wanted to tell me, but I'll forget it, and I love you more."

Kev: "No, I love you more."

They fell into each others arms and kissed passionetly.

Amanda was sitting in her room, thinking about whawt Brian had tolkd her, my God he called her slut, could it be? Did he really think of her that way? Brian knocked on the door.

Brian: "Amanda, can we talk?"

Amanda: "Look Brian, I know we talked last night, but like I told you, you really hurt me. I need time and space right now."

Brian: "But I truly have to know, did you totally want to?"

Amanda: "Brian, please I need space."

Brian: "And I need to know."

Amanda: "I'll tell you...when I know."

Brian got up and left.

Cassie and Lisa were talking in Lisa's room.

Lis: "Cassie, I need your advice."

Cassie: "Sure, what's the matter?"

Lis: "Well, this morning Nick was on the phone with his parents and he thought I was sleeping."

Cassie: "You were easedropping?"

Lis: "Well, technically, but that's besides the point, see what happen was I saw his face, Cassie he looked devastated, and I made him feel hat way, Oh God, did I do the right thing?"

Cassie: "Lisa, talk to him. You aren't doing any good to either of you by doing this, ok?"

Lis: "Alright I will, thanks Cassie."

Cassie: "No problem."

Kev and Caro were watching Much Music (AN-A really wicked music channel in Canada) and Babyface's The Day came on.

Caro: "That video makes me think if Chris and AJ."

Kev: "Actually, I'm glad you brought that up, remember on the b-ball court we said we would wait until you were ready and I was wondering um, were you ready?"

Caro: "I'm scared Kev."

Kev: "I won't do anything to hurt you."

Caro: "I'm sorry, I'm not ready, I need to think."

Kev: "Caro, I thought you loved me, so stop pushing mew away."

Caro: "I'm not trying to." She starts to cry

Kev: "Please don't cry."

Caro: "I gotta go, I need to be alone." Caro got up and left, Kev called after her but she won't listen.

Caro walked up to the docks and found Brian sitting there. Brian turned around, then looked disapointed.

Caro: (sitting down next to Brian) "Guess you weren't expecting me, huh?"

Brian: "I was kinda hoping Amanda would come, you know?"

Kev: "Kinda, I just got into a fight with Kevin."

Brian: "About what?"

Caro: "Sex."

Brian: "I think sex should be banned, all it does is cause problems."

Caro: "Tell me about it." She put her head in her hands and started to cry.

Brian: "Don't cry, please don't cry."

He gently lifted her hands away and lifted her head up. They looked into each others eyes and then started to kiss. They both were thinking about how wrong this was but their thoughts quickly got lost in their desperate kisses.

CHRISTINE

"I'm getting an abortion." Those words sent chills down Lisa and Cassie's spines as Christine pronounced them. Her eyes were glazed, her expression emontionless.

Lisa: "You can't be serious."

Chris: "No, Lisa I always joke around about these things. (sarcastically) Sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you." She looked down, tears started streaming down her face.

Cassie: "Did you tell AJ?"

Chris: "No! He has no imput in my decision, this is MY body, I can do what I want!"

Cassie: "Christine, calm down. I think your making a big mistake here. This is AJ's child too, he has to agree with your decision. Have you talked to your family about it?"

Chris: "Oh yeah, sure, great example I'd be setting for my little sisters and brother. It's like saying, Jacquie, Mel go out and get pregnant, it's ok, you can just kill the baby after and Nick, go out and fuck any girl and get her pregnant. It's ok, you can just ditch her after. I don't think so, If only I could turn back time...even if I could it wouldn't change much cuz we were always so careful...I'm so messed up!" She burst into tears and Lisa gave her a hug. Cassie looked down, a worried expression on her face. Her period was a week late too.

Brian pulled away from Caroline's comfortable embrace. They're both blushing and looking awkward.

Caro: "We can't do this, it's way wrong."

Brian: "I know. I guess I just wanted to escape from my problems and I finally found someone who actually cares..."

Caro: "I know how you feel."

Brian: "Kissing you seemed to make everything go away..."

Caro: "It felt so good."

They looked deeply into each other's eyes and Kevin walked outside just in time to see Brian pulling Caro's face towards his once again.

Kevin walked in the house with a devestated look on his face and looked over blankly at Amanda. She wondered what was wrong but was too engluffed in her own problem to even ask. He ran to his room and slammed the door. Everything seemed to be going wrong lately.

THE NEXT DAY

Christine woke up to the sunlight steaming thru the blinds on her face. "What a beautiful day. Maybe I could go to the beach and.." Then reality hit her and she immediately became depressed, today was her appointement with the doctor. She got dressed and walked donwstairs for some coffee. Cato was out, as well as Brian and Kevin, Amanda, Lisa, Cassie, Nick, AJ and Howie all looked majorly depressed. "I wish everything would just go back to normal." AJ choked on his drink and stood up as soon as he saw Christine.

AJ: "A-ar-are you ready to go?"

Chris: "I guess."

Nick and Lisa went somewhere quiet to talk.

Lisa: "Nick, I love you, all I want is your happiness and-"

Nick: "You're all I need to be happy."

They kissed and Lisa though to herself "Well things might be getting better."

At the doctors office AJ and Christine were seated in front of the doctors desk. AJ held Christine's hand but she pulled away as soon as the doctor started to speak. "I'm afraid my assistant has made a terrible mistake. I'm sorry Ms.Baillargeon, you're not pregnant. Your period must be simply a little late because of all the anxiety you've been experiencing."

Chris: "Yes!"

AJ: "Alright."

They both hugged each other, "Let's go". Christine never wanted to see that wretched hospital again.

Caro took quick nervous steps through the park. She was supposed to meet Brian at 1:00. She finally spotted him and sat down next to him on the bench.

"We have to talk." They said in union.

Caro: "I guess we both know what we have to do."

Brian: "Right, forget this ever happened."

Caro: "OK. Let's promise never to do that again and never to tell anyone it happened."

Brian: "Alright."

Kevin walked by just as they stood up and hugged each other good-bye.

AJ & Christine had a major long discussion over McDonalds and finally decided to go home. Lisa, Nick, Cassie & Howie were all sitting outside, chatting.

Lis: "Hey guys, what's up? How did it go?"

Chris: "I'm not pregnant."

Lis: "That's great!! We're about to go out and play a game of soccer, wanna come?"

Chris: "Sure, that sounds great."

AJ, Chris and Cassie were against Lisa, Nick and Howie. Chris was really getting into it when Lisa yelled "you suck." Chris got even more agressive and when Lisa tried to get the ball from her she kicked her really hard in the knees.

Lisa cried out in pain and felled to the ground.

Chris: "Oh my God! What did I do? I'm so so so sorry, somebody called an ambulance! Lisa, can you get up."

Lisa: "Uh..Arghh! No, I can't move."

Nick: "It's ok sweetie everything is gonna be ok, calm down. The ambulance is coming don't worry." He turned around in a complete attitude change "When the fuck are they gonna get here! And what the fuck is your problem Christine!"

Kevin walked in the house, this time he was determined to tell Amanda what was going on. He gently raps on her door. "Go away."

Kev: "It's me, Kev. Please I need to talk to you."

Amanda: "Ok" He walked in and sat next to her on her bed.

Kev: "Amanda, I have to tell you something that's gonna hurt you pretty bad."

Amanda: "What's new..."

Kev: "Well, it's cuz I think there's something going on between Caro and Brian. I caught them kissing at the dock and together again at the park."

Amanda's eyes opened wide and tears started streaming down her face. "What? No way, this can't be happening."

Kev: (putting his arm around her) "Don't worry we're in this together, I know excatly how you feel."

He stayed there, for a long time, they just sat there holding eah other and crying. Caroline suddenly walked into the room, Kev looked down and Amanda gave her an evil glare.

Amanda: "How could you do this to me you little bitch! I hate you! You have to be with every guy you meet, you little slut. Get out of my life!" She stomped out of the room, Caroline looked shocked.

Caro: "What was that about?"

Kev: "As if you don't know. I trusted you Caroline."

He slowly got up and walked away. Caro reached for him but he turned around.

Kev: "Don't you ever touch me, maybe you should ask Brian to hold you close and comfort you." Tears started streaming down Caroline's cheeks as she watched Kev walked away. It felt though he was walking out of her life forever.

AMANDA

Amanda sat in the den and she was in deep comcentration. She knew what she had to do, she got up, took a deep breath and walked down to Brian's room.

Chris: "I'm sorry! I was so into the game...It just happened!"

Nick: "Oh come on! You know how Lisa'a knees are! (AN - Lisa has had really bad knees all her life) Don't you think before you do things?"

Lisa: "Guys, stop fighting!"

AJ: "Here's the ambulance. Nick, ride with Lisa, everyone else, come with me. We'll meet you there."

Nick held Lisa's hands.

Nick: "Everythings going to be fine, I promise."

Brian was sitting on his bed when Amanda walked in.

Amanda: "Brian, can we talk?"

Brian: "Sure, sit here" he taped his side of the bes. Amanda sat on the other side of the bed.

Amanda: "Brian, I know what happened between you and Caroline."

Brian: "How did you -"

Amanda: "That doesn't matter. What matters is that you kissed one of my closest friends. I can't look at you or Caro the same ever again."

Brian: "I'm sorry, I won't-"

Amanda: "Quiet. I didn't come here to forgive you. I came here to tell you that I'm leaving."

Brian: "What?"

Amanda: "You heard me. I'm going to Marie-Louise for awhile." (AN-That would be one of Amanda's best friends that lives out of town)

Brian: "Why?"

Amanda: "Our relationship is all fucked up!"

Brian: "When are you going to be back?"

Amanda: "Why should you care? You got Caro now!"

She got up and began to walk up the stairs. She turned around and stopped Brian from following her.

Amanda: "Don't follow me or call. I'll come back when I'm cooled off."

She turned back around and her eyes began to water. She went out the door, Brian turned around and went to his room and blasted his music. Amanda walked to her car and got in. A single tear fell on a picture of Brian that was in her lap. As she began to drive away, she threw his picture out the window.

Amanda: "It's better that I just forget about him."

Brian was lying on his bed with the music on maximun. Kevin passed by.

Brian: "Kev! kev! We need to talk."

Kev: "Brian, I really don't feel like talking to you!"

Brian: "Come on cuz, here me out."

Kev leaned on the doorway.

Kev: "Shot."

Brian: "Okay, what I did was a real big mistake. We were two vulnebrale people, it just happened."

Kev: "Did you ever think that it could hurt people. Example me and Amanda?"

Brian: "I wasn't thinking straight, Because of this Amanda left the house and I lost your respect."

Kev: "ME, personally I think you deserve everything that's coming for you."

And with that Kev walked out the room.

At the hospital, Lisa was put right into surgery. She was crying her eyes out because she was in so much pain. The doctors gave her some morphine and all pain went away. Everyone sat around waiting for hours, they were all in a deep silence, an hour passed and then the doctor came to see them.

Chris: "Is she alright?"

DR: "She's just fine."

Nick: "So, what did you guys do?"

Dr: "Well, the water in her knees, it was really bad. The jab in the knees irritated the water. So we just took out all of it. She can't be on her legs for about a week, and she can't do any major physical activities for about 3 months. You can go and see her now, she's in room 127."

They all walked towards the room, Christine stayed behind. "What have I done?" She thought to herself. Chris got up and walked out of the hospital and all the way home.

The others got home late that night. Lisa had to stay in the hospital for a few days. Christine was sitting at the kitchen table.

Nick: "Chris I'm sorry for the way I treated you before. I was worried for Lisa and I over reacted."

Chris: "Don't be sorry, I deserved it."

Just at that moment, Brian walked up the stairs with big red eyes.

Cassie: "What's wrong, Brian?"

Brian: "Amanda left."

AJ: "What? why? where?"

Brian: "It's a long story."

Aj: "Well, we do have all night."

Brian sat down and explained everything to them, they were all left in shock.

Nick: "Well, don't worry about it. I'm sure she'll be back soon, she loves you, right?"

Brian: "I'm not so sure this time."

During the next three days, Caro and kev avoided each other, Brian mopped around and everyone else rested. Nick brought Lisa home and he carried her up to her room. Lisa layed down on her bed and Nick was beside her.

Lisa: "Nick?"

Nick: "Yeah."

Lisa: "Um, a few days, well I heard you on the phone with your mom."

Nick: "Oh."

Lisa: "And it seemed like you do really want to go home."

Nick: "But I don't wan't to leave you."

Lisa: "But Nick, your family wants to see you, I really think that you should go."

Nick: "Here's an idea, the fourth of July is coming up and why don't you come with me? That way my family can meet the famous Lisa."

Lisa: "That sounds great."

Nick: "I'll call my mon and tell her."

Nick hugged Lisa and gave her a kiss on the forehead, he then went to go call home.

Kev was in his room lying on his bed talking to a picture of his father.

Kev: "What am I suposse to do? I'm so confused."

Just then Caroline walked in.

Kev: "Go away! I don't want to talk to you."

Caro: "Just give me a chance."

Kev: "No, you betrayed my trust! You kissed Brian, my cousin, family! I can't stand it! The picture keeps on replaying in my mind and it disgusts me! Now please, leave me alone!"

She slowly walked out of the rom and then ran to the docks.

*** Cassie sat in her room.

Cassie (talking to herself): "What am I suposse to do? Should I tell someone? Am I just late or am I pregnant, maybe I'll just keep this to myself for awhile. I don't want to start anything. Maybe I'm just late, I sure hope so."

Marie-Louise: "Amanda, you can't act like this. It drives me crazy!"

Amanda: "I'm sorry, did I do the right thing?"

Marie-Louise: "Of course you did. Now let's go clubing and get your mind off him."

Amanda and M-L went to a popular club. When they got there, Amanda spotted Rick the Temp (AN- For those who don't know, Rick is a really hot VJ on Much Music, a Canadian MTV), so she decided to cruize over to him.

Amanda: "Hey, your that VJ Rick, right?"

Rick: "Yeah." Amanda: "Well, it's true what they say, you are way sexier in real life."

Rick: "Hmm, wanna dance?"

He took her hands and they hit the dance floor. Amanda got a little cold, so she asked Rick if she could wear his sweater. Seconds after she put it on, she smelt his cologne. It was the same cologne that Brian wears. Her eyes began to tear up.

Rick: "Hey, what's wrong?"

Amanda pulled Rick outside and they talked.

Amanda: "I'm sorry. I just, well, your cologne. It's the same as my ex-boyfriend's. I came here to forget about him, but I don't think it's working."

Rick: "Would you like me to drive you home?"

Amanda: "Could you drive me to see him? I really need to talk to him."

Rick: "Sure."

She got into his JAG and he drove her to see Brian.

Amanda: "Thanks for the ride."

Rick: "No problem. Here's my #, if you ever want to talk."

He placed the paper with his # in her hand and she got out of the car.

Amanda: "Thanks again, bye."

Rick: "See ya."

He drove away as she walked up to the door slowly. What do I say? What do I do? She didn't have time to finish thinking. Brian opened the door and stared at her. She looked at him then she hugged him. He hugged her back and held her hand.

Brian: "I missed you."

Amanda: "Me too."

Brian: "Amanda, we really have to have a serious talk."

Amanda: "I know."

He closed the door and they headed for the den.

LISA

Caroline sat down on the edge of the dock and dangled her feet in the cool water.

What did I do? I never meant to hurt anyone. Shit! he must hate me. I have to make it up to him, win his trust back, but how? She looked up just in time to see the sun setting over the water. Caroline started to cry. She burried her head in he rhands, when someone came up behind her.

Cassie finally made up her mind to tell someone, she walked up to Howie's door and knocked softly on the door.

Howie: "Come in." She pushed open the door and walked into the room.

Cassie: "Howie can we talk?"

Howie: "Sure what's up?"

Cassie: "Umm, well you see, umm I have a slight problem."

Howie: "What's wrong? Are you ok?"

Cassie: "Yeah, I'm ok it's just that well I'm, you see, umm ----" She whispered something he didn't understand.

Howie: "What? I didn't hear you."

Cassie: "I'm pregnant." She looked away

Nick walked back into the room and sat down on the bed next to Lisa.

Nick: "My mom said that that she thought it was a great idea, and she can't wait to see us." He looked down at her and smiled, but she didn't smile back she let out a little groan from the pain.

Nick: "Hey, what's wrong?"

Lis: "Yeah, of course I'm happy, it's just that what if I still can't walk? Your mom will think that I'm some sort of handicap or something."

Nick: "Don't worry so much, I'm sure you'll be walking in no time."

Lis: "But what if I'm not? Some girlfriend I'm gonna turn out to be." A single tear ticled down her check.

Nick: "Don't cry." He took her in his arms and kissed her warm cheeks.

Lis: "Uggh, how could Christine do this to me?"

Nick: "It's not Chris' fault, it was an accident."

Lis: "What? You are on her side?" She pushed him away.

Nick: "No, I just think that it was an accident and that you shouldn't blame her." He looked deep into her blue eyes. Lisa reached next to her and took two more pain killers for her legs.

Lis: "Oh, I see what's going here, let me guess...hm you are going to cheat on me with her just like your best bud cheated on Amanda."

Nick: "Oh come on Lisa, you're not being fair."

Lis: "Christine purpossily injured me and you take her side and I'm not being fair? Maybe you should think again."

Nick: "I'm sorry..." He looked at her pleadingly.

Lis: "Just go away...I don't need this right now." Nick got up and slowly walked toward the door, he stopped and looked back at Lisa.

Nick: "I love you." and with that he walked out of her bedroom.

Lisa popped another pill in her mouth and feel asleep.

Meanwhile downstairs, Christine and AJ were playing a serious game of pool.

Chris: "What did I do AJ? I never meant to hurt Lisa, you know I would never do anything to hurt her."

AJ: "Don't worry, it was an accident. I'm sure she doesn't blame you."

Chris: "Lisa blames me more than anything, I don't think she will ever be able to forgive me, I saw the pain in her eyes when she looked at me, Oh what am I going to do?"

AJ: "Well first of all you can stop worrying..." He pulled her toward him and kissed her mouth.

Chris: "Not now AJ, I'm not in the mood."

AJ: "Come on Chris, it's been awhile and it will get your mind of things so you can concentrate on something worth while." He started unbuttoning her shirt.

Chris: "I said no AJ." She backed away from him.

AJ: "Please, I know you want to." He grabbed her hand just as she was about to leave. "Come on, you're not pregnant."

Chris: "Yes I'm not pregnant, and I would like to stay that way so please let me go, I have to talk to Lisa."

AJ: "Screw Lisa, Chris I want you right now, she can wait, I can't."

Chris: "Well it you can't wait, fine, I guess you just won't get some ever again." and with that she pulled away from AJ and ran out of the room and slammed the door behind her.

Amanda was sitting down on a couch and Brian was sitting down on the coffe table in front of her. They sat there silently for awhile nt knowing what to say, finally Brian broke the silence.

Brian: "Amanda, I know that things have been kinda messy between us lately and I am truly sorry. What happened between Caroline and I was probably the biggest mistake that I have ever made. There is no one who could ever, ever amount to you. You are the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me."

Amanda: "What you did was wrong and you really hurt me. I will bew able to forgive you but it will take me a long time to get over." She looked down from Brian's stare. "We have to be able to trust each other and believe what we tell each other. When I gave myself up to you, I was ready and because I love you."

Brian: "And I love you too" He reached out and took her hand and pulled her towards him. "I'm sorry for all that I did, please forgive me..."He looked at her with puppy eyes.

Amanda: "I forgive you." She wrapped her arms around his neck and gently kissed his lips. At that exact moment Kevin walked into the room, he stopped in suprise.

Kev: "Amanda how could you forgive him!" He's such a bastard. Brian count yourself lucky to have Amanda's forgiveness cuz you'll never have mine." And with that he stomped out of the room. Amanda backed away from Brian's embrace and stood up.

Back in Howie's room.

Howie: "What do you mean you're pregnant? How? Is it mine? I mean of course it's mine but..."

Cassie: "Shh." She put her hand over his mouth. "Don't worry so much."

Howie: "How could you be so calm? You're so young, we aren't ever maried, are you keeping the baby? How are..."

Caroline looked up to see Kevin but instead it was Steph (AN - Steph would be my ex boyfriend).

Caro: "Steph! What are you doing here?" She wiped her face.

Steph: "I was just walking by when I saw you sitting here crying, what's wrong?"

Caro: "Kevin and I got into a fight." She started to cry again.

Steph: "Oh Caro, don't cry..." He cradled her in his arms. "You know something Caroline, I've missed you."

CHRISTINE

Christine was nervous, fidgeting ans shifting her weight. She couldn't bring herself to knock on Lisa's door. Finally she got up the nerve to rap softly on the door.

Lis: "Who is it?"

Chris: "Um, it's me."

Lis: "Go away you bitch!"

Christine walked in. "No, I'm not going away, you're gonna have to hear me out."

Lis: "You're lucky I can't move cuz I'd be running outta here right now."

Chris: "Lisa, I didn't hurt you purpously. It was an accident. Just like what you did to me when we were playing basketball (AN - Last year, Lisa broke Christine's finger.) I'm really sorry."

Lisa looked out the window, pretending she couldn't hear.

Chris: "Fine, Ignore me. If you truly believe that I would purpously hurt you than I guess our friendship was never really there.

Lisa turned to face her but Christine was walking out the door.

Lisa: "Wait." But the door slammed shut, Chris was gone. "Oh great, now Christine and Nick BOTH hate me! My life is so screwed up." With that, she swallowed down 5 more pills.

"Cassandra, will you marry me?"

It was like a scene from a movie. It wuz a beautiful warm evening, they had just been out to dinner, and were now walking down the sandy beach in the moonlight. Until Howie stopped, got down on his knee and presented Cassie with a huge diamong ring. Her heart skipped a beat. The feeling that took over her body was overwhelming, she stared deep into Howie's eyes, "Yes." she whispered.

He jumped and took her in his arms. Neither of them had ever felt so happy and exicted before.

Howie: "I love you so much Cassandra. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to completely devote myself to your happiness."

Cassie: "You've made me the happiest girl alive! You mean the world to me Howie. WE'RE GETTING MARRIED! Oh my God, we have to tell everyone, we have to plan the wedding, find a home..."

Howie: "Don't worry sweetie, I'll make sure you have the wedding of your dreams. Let's visit your parents tomorrow and tell them the big news."

The happy look Cassie had dissapeared and was replaced by a worried expression.

Cassie: "My parents? Oh boy..."

Anthony (AN - I dunno if I mention this before but in real life Anthony was Chris' ex-boyfriend) ran along the beach towards the dock and saw Steph and Caro.

Tony: "Steph! Where were you? I've been looking for you everywhere. Oh hi Caroline."

Steph: "You're so slow. I thought you were jogging right behind me, I guess you just can't keep up."

Caro got up and gave Anthony a hug.

Caro: "I've missed you Anthony, but I know someone who's missed you more, ans she talks about you all the time..."

Just them Christine arrived, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Tony: "Christine, what's wrong? Come take a walk with me and you can tell all about it. I miss you like crazy you know."

As they walked away Anthony made sure that Caro was not looking when he gave Steph a thumbs up sign and Steph did the same back. They both smile mischievously.

AJ and Kevin were at a bar, drinking away their sorrows.

AJ: "Oh man, why is everything so screwed up? We were suppose to be all happy forever, now all we are is miserable. They love of my life won't even do me anymore."

Kev: "At least she didn't cheat on you with your cousin."

Just then Brian walked in. "Oh no" AJ thought, "this isn't going to be a pretty sight."

Amanda was sprawled on the couch, watching Rick the Temp on TV. Suddenly, she remembered that he had given her his phone number. Now where did she put it? She got up ans searched for it everywhere, and finally found it in the pocket of what she had worn the night she met him. She plopped back down on the couch and dialed his number. It was his machine (duh, he's working), she left a message, saying she needed to get together with him as sson as possible.

"So sweetie, tell me what's wrong, what happened?" Steph put his arms around Caroline.

Caro: "Well, Kevin and I got into a big fight, Brian and Amanda were fighting too, Brian and I ended up kissing and Kev caught us and he-"

She couldn't finish her sentence cuz she wuz choking on her tears. "He's never gonna forgive me."

Steph: "Caro, it wuz a meaningless kiss, neither of you knew what you were doing, you were just trying to forget reality. If he can't forgive you for that, them maybe you should be questionning his love for you."

Caro: "What! Who do you think you are!?" She threw his arms off of her. "Kevin loves me. If I caught him kissing one of my good friends, I'd do the exact same thing!"

Steph: "Whoa, calm down baby. Sweetie, I'm just saying that maybe if you were so miserable that you kissed his cousin, them maybe he's not the one for you."

Caro: "This is NOT what I need right now."

She got up and started to walk away. Steph ran after her and grabbed her arm.

Steph: "Caro, wait. I'm sorry. It's just that I love you so much and it kills me when I see how miserable the guy is making you feel..." He pulled her close but before he could kiss her she pushed him away.

Caro: "My misery is my own fault, not his." She turned around as Steph watched the only girl he ever loved walked away from him.

Nick was sitting on Lisa'a bed watching her sleep. "God I love her. She 's so beautiful..." Just then Lisa stirred and opened her eyes.

Nick: "Hey beautiful, how are you?"

Lisa: "In pain, but I've been worse." She smiled at Nick.

Lis: "Uh, Nick, I need to ask you a favor. Could you get me another bottle of those pain killers?"

Nick: "You're already done the first one? It was suppose to last you all week."

Lis: "Uh, ya. It's cuz I spilled most of them down the drain when I accidently knocked the bottle over."

Nick: "Alright, Anything else you want, like lunch, you haven't eating much."

Lis: "No, I'm not hungry, but a kiss would be good."

Nick: "Anything for you baby." He lied on top of her and kissed her passionately, they started making out when Lisa suddenly cried out in pain.

Nick: "What? What!?"

Lis: "You kicked my knees."

Nick: "I'm so so so sorry! Oh my God!" He started to move but Lisa grabbed his collar and pulled him close again. "Just joking."

Christine and Anthony were walking along the beach. It was getting dark, they could see the shimmering moonlight on the sea. Anthony placed his arms around Christine. The gesture was so familiar to her that she didn't even notice he was doing it.

Chris: "Oh Anthony, AJ is pressuring me to have sex with him, but I'm scared. I'm not ready yet, but I don't want to lose him , I love him so much."

Tony: "I think the real reason you don't want to have sex with him is because you don't completely love him."

Chris: "What do you mean?"

Tony: "Let me show you what I mean." He took her in his arms and kissed her passionately. "Christine, I never stopped loving you, I never will. You're part of me, and I want you back."

Chris: "Anthony, no, I'm with AJ now. We can't do this. I love AJ now."

Tony: "Look me straight in the eyes and tell me you don't love me."

Chris: "Why? I don't need to prove myself to you."

Tony: "See, I knew you couldn't do it."

Chris: "Fine. If that's what you want, that's what you'll get." She looked him straight in the eyes, the eyes she knew so well, and cleared her throat. "Anthony, I-I-I...I don't-" She was interrupted by a shout. "Hey Christine!"

It was Cassie, she was running towards her, Howie following behind.

Cassie: "I have such Big news to tell you."

CAROLINE

Later that day, after they had told all their friends, Cassie & Howie were talking.

Howie: "Cassie, I just told my parent, they're so excited. They can't wait to see you, are you gonna call your parents now?"

Cass: "Well, maybe I'll call them later."

Howie: "Why not now?"

Cass: "Well, um, they're probably not home right now."

Howie: "Cassie, what's wrong?"

Cass: "Well, see I don't think they'd um, be happy about us."

Howie: "What? How come?"

Cass: "Well, for one they'd say I'm too young..."

Howie: "So, you're never gonna to tell them?"

Cass: "sure, just not right now."

Howie: "What's the problem? You don't think they'd approve of me. I'm not good enough for them, is that it?"

Cass: "Of course not, they're just going to need time, that's all."

Howie: "So, you're ashamed of me, is that it?"

Cass: "Don't twist my words around, Howie. God, how can we be fighting now, this is suppose to be the happiest time of our lifes."

Howie: "How can I be happy, when my own fiancee is ashamed of me?" and with that he walked out of the room, leaving Cassie in tears.

Amanda dialed the first four numbers of Rick's number and then hung up the phone. This isn't right, Amanda thought, I love Brian, but this is just a phone call to a friend, it doesn't mean anything, and well Brian had his fun with that bitch Caroline, now it's my turn. So, she dialed the number.

Amanda: "Can I speak to Rick please?"

Person: "Sure, hold on. Rick another chick is on the phone for you."

Rick: "Hello."

Amanda: "Hi, it's um Amanda, remember?"

Rick: "Amanda, I'm so glad to hear from you. I thought maybe you wouldn't call."

Amanda turned around and didn't see Brian enter the room.

Amanda: "Of course I was going to call....I had a lot of fun last time...Sure we can get together again...Today for lunch? Well, sure I'm free...Alright I'll see you then...Yeah, I'm glad I called too...Bye, Rick."

Amanda hung up the phone and turned around to leave, and that's when she saw Brian.

Amanda: "Brian, you scared me. How long have you been standing there?"

Brian: "Long enough to know you're seeing this guy Rick today."

Amanda: "You were easedroping on my conversation?"

Brian: "No, I just happen to walk in and didn't want to interrupt you, but don't try to change the subject. Who is this guy Rick?"

Amanda: "Just some guy I met awhile back, but don't you dare question me! I'm not the one kissing your friends behind your back, am I?"

Brian: "So, this is all for revenge! Is that it?"

Amanda: "No, I'm not using Rick, he's my friend."

Brian: "How good of a friend?"

Amanda: "That's none of your damn business."
