The following are lengths you can request reenlistment for:

    a.  48-month or 36-month authority - the standard reenlistment lengths.

    b. 24-month authority - results from service limitation, to allow for additional observation or at the Marine's request (Careerist only).

    c. 60/72-month authority - used for special programs only (e.g., courtroom stenographer, MECEP, Advanced Degree Completion, Program); not used to maximize SRBP.
