On Tuesday, October 21, 1997 Molly Hatchet was doing the first of 
three Stops in their 1997-98 World Tour supporting their current 
release, "Devil's Canyon" the firt studio album in about ten years.  
The band has been doing what they do best rocking down the house 
with about 200 live shows every year.  The opening act in Montana 
is a local band Cool Toyz, from Kalispell, MT.  

The Music was rocking the walls and the roof of the Holiday Inn Trade
Center with a crowd of  "old" fans.  There may have been a few grey 
hairs in the crowd, but when Molly Hatchet took the stage they were 
all down in front on their feet for the next hour and a half or more.  
The worst seats in the house wer the front few rows atref Molly Hatchet 
started playing.
