The coconut tree may be the most valuable
Polynesian introduced tree to Hawaii. 35 different
uses were made of Niu, from food to medicine, shelter
to transportaion. Opinions vary about where the tree
is native, albeit obvious that now its distribution
is pan-global through the tropics.
