Glad to meet you! I've recently retired from work due to ill health and have found that I enjoy writing poetry for children, limericks and chatting to friends on the net. I've also just started cross stitching and although I seem to spend more time un-crossing stitches than crossing them, I do get a feeling of accomplishment when I eventually finish one!
My husband, Charlie, works in a local sawmill making boxes to hold potatoes - in the local parlance - "tattie- boxes"!
I have two sons, Chris and Graeme.
Chris, aged 28, works in London for an Australian oil company, and Graeme, aged 18, is going to Glasgow University to study Computing Science.
We have two West Highland Terriers, Callum and Kirsty, who are brother and sister and are always up to something! Usually destructive!
