"Isaac, what in the world are you doing here?" Parker asked surprised to see him, yet extremely pleased.

"I know I'm a little early, but I wasn't doing anything and I wanted to see if you might want to 'not do anything' with me?"

"Huh?" Parkder looked at him totally confused. "Well, why don't you just come in."

"Thanks."

"We're having lasagna for lunch. Would you like to join us?"

"I'd love to!" Isaac said enthusiastically. He had been extremely nervous about going to the apartment, but he had to see her. He was aching to see her.

Susan opened the door to their apartment and led them through the door. Parker took her purse to her bedroom while Isaac walked into the kitchen.

"What temperature do you want the over on?" he called.

"450," Parker yelled at him. She walked into the kitchen as he was setting the table, and stood in the doorway watching him work. She could hear him softly singing 'I Will Come To You.'

She watched him put out he silverware, napkins and glasses. He went to the cabinet to get something else and Parker walked to him and put her arms around his waste. "Thank you," she said breathlessly.

"What for?" Isaac inquired. "For setting the table? It was nothing."

"Well, for that and for just being here. I've been looking forward to seeing you all morning!" she admitted.

"You have? Really?" Isaac turned to face her and wrapped his arms around her. "I've been looking forward to seeing you too. That's why I came when I did," he said and planted a kiss on her lips. It didn't take long for him to deepen the kiss by gently parting her lips and teeth with his tongue.

"Ahum," Susan cleared her throat. "Don't let me interrupt anything, but I am starving."

"Hey, don't let me stop you. You don't have to be embarrassed, ya know. I've kissed plenty of people. It's not like you're doing anything I haven't done before myself."

Parker heard Isaac give a little laugh. She turned to look at him. She was extremely beat red. She didn't know why he found this so amusing, but the sound of his laughing was infectious and it wasn't long before Parker was laughing along with him. She went over and hugged him to let him know that she wasn't mad at him. Susan led the trio out to the living room and turned on the TV. She and Isaac sat down while Parker went back to the kitchen.

A few minutes later, Isaac began to notice that Parker had not come back to the living room. He got up to search for her and found her puttering around in the kitchen. "Do you want some help?" he inquired.

"You don't have to, swee...uh, Isaac." She tried to catch herself, but she was afraid that he had noticed her slip. She didn't know what their 'status' was as of yet, and she didn't want him thinking that she was making assumtions about it. He answered her right away, so maybe he didn't notice.

"I want to help," he assured her. Now, she was afraid that he had answered a little too quickly. Maybe he was trying to cover up his embarrassement. She looked up and caught him smiling at her. There are two packages of salad completes in the fridge. We can have the Caesar one of the Italian one. Which do you prefer?"

"Caesar."

"Good! I was hoping you'd say that." He got out the package and brought it over to her.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome, hun," he said. Parker looked at him a little startled and he winked at her. Was he trying to tease her or was he serious?

"Look on top of the refrigerator and get down the breadsticks. It was a blessing that he was there. If he hadn't have been, she would have had to get on a chair to reach the breaksticks and she was afraid of heights. They would have gone without breadsticks today.

Isaac got them down and handed them to her. As he did, he bent down and kissed her. "Let's not start that right now. Remember what happened last time?"

"Well, we'll just save it for desert," he told her.

"Oh, sorry. We have cheesecake for desert, the turtle kind. We'll, have to wait and have your desert next Sunday," she replied with a wink.

"Not on your life, sister," he said and pulled her to him for a quick kiss.

"O.K. you two," they heard Susan shout from the living room. "No more kissy face." Parker and Isaac both laughed and started making kissing noises. "Get a room, will ya?" Susan yelled.

This sent Isaac and Parker into uproarous laughter. They were laughing so hard that they were gasping for breath and their sides were aching. When they finally got control of themselves, Parker sent Isaac across the room to the toaster oven to turn on the oven part. "Turn it to 350," she told him still chuckling to herself. He did as he was told and then waited for further instructions. "Look in the cabinet next to the stove and get out the salad spinner." He got it out and then went back to the sink, opened the bag of salad, and dumped its contents into the salad spinner.

Parker went over and sat at the table to watch him work. He looked so cute helping out in the kitchen. He definitely looked comfortable, like he had done this a million times and knew what to do. She found herself staring at him. To her, it was incredibly sexy for a guy to be working like that. She made a mental not to ask Taylor and Zac if this was a regular occurance at their house. She hoped it wasn't just an act he was putting on. "Oh, my lands!" she thought. "I am dying to kiss him. Why, oh why, does Susan have to be here?" She loved her cousin, but sometimes she was a definite pain. Like when she wanted to be alone and Susan was in the mood to talk. Well, right now she was in the mood to be alone with Isaac, even if it was just to talk.

Isaac finished cleaning the lettuce for the salad. Parker told him where to find a bowl and he poured the clean lettuce leaves into it. He would wait to add the dressing, cheese and croutons until right before they ate. He hated soggy croutons and when told Parker as much, she echoed his sentiment.

By this time, the toaster oven was warmed up. Isaac arranged six breadsticks on the oven's tray and put them in. Next, he walked over to the microwave and set it for 5 minutes. Finally, he sat down. "Penny for your thoughts."

"You don't want to know what I am thinking."

"Yes, I do or I wouldn't have asked."

"I was just thinking how, as much as I love my cousin, I wish she wasn't here just now."

"Why?"

"so we could have some alone time," Parker admitted to him a little shyly.

"We can do that tonight." Parker was giving him a quizical look. "We're still going out, right?"

"Of course! I just thought that you wouldn't want to go out after being here this afternoon."

"I still want to go out with you, very much," he assured her.

Parker could only smile. She was really beginning to like him.
