The next morning, Parker awoke for church very happy. She couldn't fathom what happened the night before. She lay in bed thinking about everything that had happened. Susan bounded into her room and plopped down on her bed. "Ok, girlfriend, spill it and I want details! What happened and you better tell me everything?!"

Parker giggled at her overanxious cousin. "Well, we kissed."

"Kissed! Kissed! That's all you're going to tell me? What Taylor and I saw looked like a lot more than just kissing."

"You and Taylor were watching?!" Major embarrassment did not even begin to describe how Parker was feeling. "Oh, no!" she cried covering her head with the blankets.

Susan pulled the sheets and blankets off of her beet read relative. "Hey, don't feel bad. Taylor didn't think anything bad by it. He said, in fact, that he was very excited for Isaac. He said that Isaac really hasn't ever dated and he was glad to find someone so wholesome liking his brother."

"Man, I feel horrible! Taylor is going to think that all I do is go around making out with guys I barely even know."

"No, he doesn't. I told him that Isaac was only the second person you've ever kissed."

Parker groaned big time. "Susan, how could you?!?! Now he's going to totally wonder why I haven't kissed more people and had more boyfriends! He's going to think I'm a total nerd, and he's going to think that I don't have any experience."

"No, actually, he said that he was totally amazed that you seemed to know what to do considering the circumstances. He said that you could have fooled him." Susan burst into fits of laughter. Parker hit her upside the head with a pillow. She couldn't figure out whether or not Susan was telling the truth about that conversation, but she was too chicken to really find out the truth.

"I seriously hope you're kidding."

"I guess you'll never know." Susan got up and walked out of Parker's room. "I'm done in the bathroom, so you can get in there now."

"I'm going, I'm going," Parker groaned. She slowly got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom. Both girls kept their under garments in cardboard crates in the bathroom, so she didn't take anything but her body with her. As soon as she started the water, she stripped her pajamas off. When the water was warm enough, she stepped into the shower. She washed and conditioned her hair, shaved her legs and under her arms and washed her body. As soon as she was done, she turned off the water and got out. She toweled herself off and wrapped another towl around her head, turban style. She didn't cut herself shaving. She smiled about that. It seemed like every time she even looked at a razor, she got cut.

She pulled clean panties and a clean bra out of her green cardboard crate, she put her pajamas back on and walked to her bedroom. In her bedroom, she put her makeup on, did her hair and got dressed. She hated putting makeup on. If she had her choice, she wouldn't wear any at all. Because of this, she barely wore any. Just a little base, eye shadow, eyeliner, and a very little mascara. She looked at herself in the mirror, she wore a full length gray and white skirt, a white t-shirt and gray sandles.

By 8:00, both Parker and Susan were ready to go. Parker had to be at church by 8:30 to do a sound check. They pulled into the parking lot just in time. Parker like to get there earlier than everyone so she could have alone time on they piano.

She went up to the sound booth and turned everything on. Once the levels were set the way she knew they usually were for Sunday morning, she went down to the stage. She lovingly carassed the keys and began to play. After a few minutes, she looked up to catch Pete watching her. He was going to be running sound that morning.

"I wanted to tell you, again how wonderful you did yesterday," he said.

"Thank you. It was the most fun that I have ever had. I am thoroughly addicted," she said with a laugh.

"Well, everyone has been talking about it non-stop. Did you see the news last night?"

"No, I didn't. We were watching a movie."

"Well, I taped it. They did a short piece on the festival and showed some footage of the performances. They also showed a very short snippet of the interview you did with that reporter. By the way, I wanted to find out how things went with Isaac?"

"Whatever do you mean, Pete?" Parker said feining innocence.

"Hey, I heard you make plans to do something last night.

"Well, it went great! We have a date for tonight too."

"You go, girl! You guys make the cutest couple.

Parker blushed a bright red. She hoped he was right. She had been thinking about Isaac nonstop since last night. In fact, she thought she had even had a dream about him. Although she couldn't remember any of it, the feeling that she had had one remained.

"When is the date?"

"Don't you think it's a little early to be talking marriage, Pete? I mean, heck, I just met him last night."

"Not wedding date, dork, date as in where's he taking you tonight and when."

Parker looked at him totally embarrassed. Of course, it was logical for him to ask that. Why would she even think that he meant anything else. "He's picking me up at 5:30. We kind of wanted to make it an early evening, because I have to work tomorrow."

"What are you going to do?"

"I don't know. He asked what my favorite restaurant was and I told him The Olive Garden. Other than possibly going there for dinner, I have no clue. What's up with the 20 million questions?"

"Hey, I just have to look out for my 'little sister'."

"Oh, my lands! I have enough brothers looking after me, I don't need you too."

"Ok, ok! I'll leave you alone about it. Let me know what happens, though."

"I will." Parker got out of the seat she was sitting in and went to the stage while Pete headed to the sound booth.

Parker always loved church. She loved playing and singing on the worship team and she love the pastor's style of preaching. He really liked for the congregation to get involved in his sermons and loved when they talked back to him.

When church was over, Parker and Susan quickly left. Sundays were usually nap days and Parker wanted to get hers in before it got too close to her date time.

The girls pulled into the parking lot of their apartment complex. Parker went up the walkway first with Susan close behind. When they got up the stairs to their 2nd floor apartment, Parker let out a short gasp.
