This is kind of embarrassing," Isaac admitted.

"What is it? You can tell me," Parker asked with a concerned look on her face.

"The thing is, I want to save myself."

"Save yourself? I don't get it." Parker was about to start laughing. It sounded so funny hearing him say that. She didn't start laughing which was a good thing, because she could tell he was very serious.

"I want to save myself for marriage. I don't want to have sex until it is on my wedding night with my wife." Parker's eyes teared up.

"Do you see this ring?" he asked pointing to his finger. "This ring is a covenant ring and signifies a promise I made to my mom and dad, God, myself, and my future wife. I promised to keep myself pure until my wedding night. At my wedding, the congregation will get to hear about the ring, but that night at the hotel, my wife will get tp wear the ring."

By this time tears were spilling onto Parker's cheeks. She held up her hand for Isaac to see. "I have one too," she told him.

Isaac hugged her. "I'm so glad that you understand. I have had girls break up with me because of that, but I would rather be girlfriendless than be with someone who doesn't repect me."

"I agree," Parker said hugging him back. "I've had the same thing happen."

"You have?"

"Yep."

"We'd better get going. It's getting kind of late and I know you have to work tomorrow." Isaac took her hand and pulled her to her feet. He kissed her gently on the lips. "Thank you for understanding," he whispered in her ear.

"No, thank you<" Parker responded.

Isaac drove them home in silence. When they got to the apartment building, Isaac stopped the car, got out and opened Parker's door helping her out. When they got to the front door, Parker turned to Isaac. "This is the most fun that I have had in a long time. Thank you for making me feel so special."

"You are special," Isaac said as he leaned in to kiss her. When their lips touched, something inside of her exploded. The kiss took on a new meaning after what he had revealed to her. She had a new-found respect and admiration for him. It had taken guts to say what he had said and she loved him for that. Woah, had she thought 'love'? The idea didn't totally gross her out, but she had only known him for two days. Was he the one? She wasn't sure about that, but she sure knew that she wanted to find out.

"I'd better go inside," Parker said pulling away.

"Yeah, that's probably a good idea," he told her reluctantly dropping his hands. "Would you be interested in going out this weekend?"

"Sure! What did you have in mind?"

"Well, I was thinking maybe dinner and a movie Friday night and possibly, that is if you want, Jordan's birthday is Saturday and several of us are going to go play paintball. His sisters will be there, so you wouldn't have to be the only girl. If you didn't want to play, you could just watch."

"I'd love to go play!"

"You would??" he asked incredulously.

"Yep! I love paintball. Although everytime I go, some idiot decides it's fun to hit me at point blank range and I end up with bruises that last for weeks," she said with a laugh.

"Well, I won't let anyone hurt you," he said grabbing her around the waist.

"I feel much better knowing I have Chewbacca to protect me," she said with a laugh kissing his lips.

"Well, then it's a date," he said returning her kiss.

"Ok. I'm going inside now."

"Hold on. I don't think I got your phone number last night."

"You're right." She fished a piece of paper out of her purse and hurridly wrote her phone number on it: 446-7147. Here you go," she said and handed him the paper.

He took the paper from her and tore it in half. "Here's my number: 446-3797."

She took the paper from him. "Call me tomorrow?"

He brushed her lips with his. "Of course."

With that Parker opened the door and went inside the apartment.

Susan met her inside. "How was it? Was it everything you ever hoped it would be?"

"That and more." She set her purse down on the chair in the living room and went into the kitchen to get a drink. "Suzie," she started. "Do you believe in love at first sight?"

"I don't know." Susan went over to the refrigerator, grabbed a drink, and went to join Parker at the table. "Why do you ask?"

"What are you thinking, Park?"

"I don't know. Just about things."

"You're not thinking of giving up your music career, are you?"

"HECK, NO!!! Not even close to that."

Isaac pulled into the driveway of his home and turned off the engine of his car. Before he could get out and go into the house, Taylor bounded out the front door. "So how was it? You were gone all afternoon. Did you have fun?"

"Yeah, I really did. She is one heck of a girl," Isaac admitted.

"And a fantastic performer," Taylor added.

"Yeah, listen, I need to talk to you, Zac, and dad about something."

"Sure, what is it?"

"Just tell them I need to talk to them and meet me in the studio."

"Ok."

"Hey, do you know where Mom is? I need to talk to her too."

"No, do you need her in the studio?"

"No, just you, Zac, and dad."

Isaac walked into the house. "Mom!" he called out.

"I'm in Zoe's room," he heard his mom call back.

He headed to his little sister's room. "Mom, I need to talk to you for a minute."

"Go wait in the living room. I'll be right there, I just need to finish reading Zoe this book."

"Ok. Don't be too long."

"I won't."

Isaac headed to the living room, but was stopped by Zac. "What do you need us for?" he asked Isaac a little breathlessly.

"Give me 15 minutes and then meet me in the studio. I'll tell you then."

"Ok, Dad. We've got 15 minutes, reboot 'Road Warriors'," Zac yelled. Isaac rolled his eyes.

"This time I'm gonna beat your butt, Zachary," his dad yelled back.

"Not on your life, old timer."

"Old timer? For that I'm not going to spot you the 1500 points that I was going to spot you."

"I could beat you with both hands tied behind my back."

"I'd like to see you try," his dad challenged.

"I'll be up in a minute. I'm going to get a drink." Zac walked into the kitchen and grabbed a Diet Dr. Pepper out of the fridge. "Prepare to be pulverized, punk." Isaac could hear his dad's booming laughter coming from Zac's room.

Isaac continued to the living room to await his mother. "No thanks to the dorky duo up there, your sister did not fall asleep during the story, like I had planned. But I told her if she gets out of bed, the monster that lives under her bed wil eat her."

"Mom, how could you? You'll scar her for life."

"Aww, she'll get over it," Diana answered with a wink. "What's on your mind, sweety?"

"Well, it's about Parker."

"I should have guessed."

"It's nothing bad. At least not for her."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, here it goes." Isaac spilled his guts. He told his mom everything that he was feeling and even told her what he was going to talk to Zac, Taylor, and his dad about.

"So what's the problem? It sounds like everything would be pretty close to perfection with everything you're telling me."

"If we do what I told you, can I date Parker?" Isaac asked his mother.

"Why not?" Diana answered.

Isn't it a conflict of interest?"

"I don't see that it is. Everything would go between Jordan and Christopher anyway. You're just recommending Parker."

"Really?" Isaac was very excited. "Thanks, mom, you're the best." Isaac bounded off the chair and over to his mom. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and ran downstairs to meet with the others.

"No problem, Ike," his mom answered. She was extremely glad that her children still came to her for help.

"Ok, what's going on, Ike?" Walker asked his son.

"Dad, I want to talk to all of you about Parker."

"What about?" Taylor inquired.

"I had this idea."
