ECW Rumors

*ECW cleared WWOR in New York, meaning that ECW TV returns to the tri-state area, no date was announced, but Paul E. said ECW will buy time after Howard Sterns TV show on Saturdays on CBS if its more than a month

*Axl Rotten has not eaten since September 5th, he has drunk water. Rotten will be out for another few weeks

*Public Enemy is on their way back to ECW, A recent statement by PE said that when their WCW contract is up in March 1999, they are coming back to ECW

*Expect recently married Justin Credible, and now SINGLES wrestler Ballz Mahoney to get big pushes, as will Jerry Lynn, Mikey Whipwreck could if Dreamer is out for a long period of time

*The ECW roster for the upcoming weekend shows (9/20-22) will have a very thin roster, Dreamer will be out with his broken jaw, Taz is doubtful for the Friday show because of his arrest, Axl Rotten is still in excruciating pain in the hospitalK

*Masato Tanaka who had been in Japan for a few weeks is back in ECW

*Taz was arrested after persuading a girl to lift her shirt exposing her bra, and then exposing himself to the 15 year old girl, he faces charges of corrupting the morals of a minor and indecent exposure.

*The August 29 house show which ECW announced on 9/1 would be on video, was scratched due to lack of time, so youll have to put up with the Fan cam version

*Match officially announced for November to Remember 98 PPV, Triple Threat vs. the "New" Triple Threat

*Sandman is officially gone, leaving Tommy Dreamer and Taz as the last originals who have stayed with ECW since the beginning (Sabu and Franchise left for awhile)

*Tommy Dreamer and New Jack may start tagging together now that Sandman is gone, and New Jack and Dreamer along with Spike and Kronus are the last Dudley haters, and both New Jack and Dreamer are fueding with Jack Victory

*New Jack returned to ECW to save Tommy Dreamer after Dreamer was dropped face first through a table by Jack Victory, Dreamer suffered a broken jaw, Paul E came out to check on Dreamer, then New Jack and Paul E. started yelling at each other. All this occured at the 9/12 show

*Axl Rottens condition has not improved, he hasnt had surgery yet and may not till the last week of September

*Update on Axl: He has a sever inflamation of his pancreas and needs his gall stones removed, they cant be removed untill the inflamtion goes down. He could be out until October

*A few injuries of note Axl Rotten (Gall Stones) missed the weekend shows but will be back soon, RVD had plastic surgery on his eyelid and wont miss time, Fonzie broke his arm when RVD and Sabu put someone throughg a table not sure if he will be out, New Jack is still out with groin surgery, Franchise had a sinus probkem but is still expected at the next PPV

*The One Man Gang debuted in ECW recently

*Rod Price may join Justin Credible against the Sandman

*It appears that Francine has left the triple threat and has been replaced completely by Tammy Lynn Sytch (Sunny) Look for Francine to end up managing another wrestler(s) probably fueding with Shane (NOT Taz)

*Terry Funk confirmed he will work a few ECW shows in the fall/winter and could appear as soon as the November to Remember PPV

*Big Dick Dudley missed a few shows due to his arrest from a riot on Staten Island in July

*Rugged Rod Price who once fueded with Stone Cold Steve Austin during Austins days in ECW has signed and should be wrestling by November to Remember

*Kronus WAS NOT RELEASED

*Mikey Whipwreck may be turning heel after a recent match with Jerry Lynn, Mikey refused to shake Lynn's hand

*New Jack had groin surgery in the middle of August and will probably disappear for awhile before returning in Novemember

*Sandman has been jobbing to JustinCredible just in case Sandman cant resign, it will help give Justin a push if he "beats Sandman out of ECW"

*Reportedly Brian Lee may come back to ECW and fued with Bam Bam Bigelow who took his spot in the Triple Threat.

*Former ECW Tag-team champs the Pitbulls have signed with WWF and should begin wrestling with the company by the end of August.

*Look for Terry Funk and Dr. Death Steve Williams to make a few appearences in the next six monthes. It is believed Funk could join the Dreamer/Dudley angle.

*Tommy Dreamer, Paul Heyman, and New Jack are being indicted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon after New Jack bladed Mass Transit- a wrestler wannabe- in August 96. The ECW stars pled Not Guilty

*Chris Candido's ear was severly damaged when Sabu and RVD hit rolling thunder 2 weeks ago. Sabu keeps a metal spike in his pants and thats what caused the damage.

*Look for ECW to lay off some jobbers in the next few months. The Blue Meanie, FBI, and SuperNova are possibilities. ECW is trying to cut payroll so they are able to sign some "free agent" wrestlers.
