Duane James (Jim) Northrup was born in Winona on February 15, 1931 to Byne and Florence Holiday Northrup. On April 10, 1965 he married Edith C. Lorenz at McKinley United Methodist Church. He has worked for Sugar Loaf Motel as an office manager, then as a cook in Minneapolis and after that as a cook on the railroad. He died May 31, 2001.
