John Northup was born in No. Kingston, R.I., the 12th child of Lebbeus Northup I and Abigail Remington Scranton. John married SARAH COLLIER OF MARBLEHEAD, MASS. They had one son and John died. Sarah then married SAMUEL BISSEL.
