Perry Gates Northup was born 1796 in Danby, Vt., the fifth child of John Northup Jr. and Thankful Gates. He married Mariam Zeviah " Vi" Kinne and they had at least five known children. Mariam was born in Machias N.Y. on April 9, 1842.
Her Mother was Lucinda Lawernce Bump and her Father was Norris Greenleaf Kinne.
She died in Monterey, CA on August 26, 1918
Perry Died in Monterey, CA on August 7, 1919. Interesting he did not quite make it another year without Vi.
