Elizabeth Jane Northup was born March 28, 1784; the daughter of Daniel and Ann (Hampton) Northup. Elizabeth married James McCall. They had at least 12 children and she died January 10, 1830. After she died, her husband, James McCall, married her sister-in-law, Jane (Dean) Northup, and they had two more children. Since Jane had seven listed children from her first marriage, this would have made for a very large household, depending on who all might have still been living at home.
