George Vernon Northup was born the second son to Thomas J. Northup on 23 Dec 1807. He married Hannah Gilbert on 19 Oct 1828 in Gallia, OH (b 4 Jul 1809 d 5 Aug 1888). He had at least one known son and possibly two. He died 13 Sep 1879. Hannah is buried in the Northup Cemetary plot and her stone is quite large and very legible. It is presumed George is buried here, as well, but I can't find any evidence of it. Very little else is known of this family.
