Harry Northrup was b. 15 August 1901 the son of Joseph Monroe Northrup He married ROWENA WILLIAMS and had at least one child, FREEMAN ROY NORTHUP . I have been told that Harry Northrop changed his name from Northrup to Northrop on a bet over a pig, however, seeing as how his offspring maintained the original spelling, I doubt that account. Harry's brother, Leroy always maintained the name should be "North" "up" and it originally was.
