Henry Clay Northup was born the first child to Thomas Jefferson Northup 29 AUG 1815 in Ohio. He was married to Charlotte Gilbert (b: ABT. 1816 in NY) and they had nine known children. One of them, Anne Elizabeth, may have been known as Elizabeth. She was married to either Josiah or Joseph McCall. There may have been another daughter known as Annie. There is also some suspicion this is two different families melded together, as one supposed son, George Henry was born in 1871 after Henry Clay died. George Henry I may have been born in 1845, son of Henry Clay, and George Henry II would have been his son. Henry Clay Northup died in 1869. Very little else is known of this family.
