Ronald Parker Northup was born the 9th of 12 children to Vyron and Helen Northup on 2/22/52. We always figured he had something in comon with George Washington, if nothing else. He was married to Sheryl Renae {Wittman} Northup B: 1/10/55, on 1/13/73. They lived for a time in North Dakota in a house they bought for like a dollar and moved in. Later, they moved to Puposky, where we all got into the store business for a few years. They did dairy farming for a year or so in Blackduck, and then while Darien ran that for another year, they moved to Theif River Falls, where Ron went to Vo-Tech to be an aircraft mechanic. About the time he graduated, he got an offer to go to work as a highway Tech, and he has been there ever since. They later bought the land previously owned by Glen Thompson next to the old Pleasant Valley School and along with brother Darien, who owns the school itself, has developed a sort of family gathering place and campground, open to all Northup Family reunion activities from anywhere in the world. Facilities are sparse, but being improved steadily and it is adjacent to a fantastic fishing lake in wild and beautiful Northern Minnesota. Ron's page is Under Construction.
