To the Waters and the Wild.

Our children being tortured most dreadfully by dress clothes and photographers.

Children are, in my opinion, the most precious gift the Gods have given us.  They are innocent, fresh, new.... Every sunrise is a miracle, every sunset a wonder.  Through our association with children, we are renewed.  We turn our jaded, cynical eyes outwards and contemplate the beauty of the world all over again.

To the waters and the wild is in reference to my favorite poem by that great man William Butler Yeats.  The full line runs
"Come away O human child
To the waters and the wild
 With a fairy hand in hand
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand."
 The name of the poem is "The Stolen Child" and  it touches something inside me.   Isn't that what great poetry is supposed to do?  Some more favorites by Yeats are;
The Song of the Old Mother
The Cat and the Moon
The Second Coming
