One is genealogy and the other--actually she isn't a hobby--she is THE most beautiful chocolate Labrador Retriever ever! I'm not biased or anything, you understand. It's simply the truth!! Her name is Powers' Rusty Mist and she thinks she is royalty. Actually she really is! She is an inside--outside if she wants to be--dog and very spoiled. But, in truth, her background does sport some of the most impressive bloodlines in Labradors. Her great-grandfather is even in the New Complete Book of Labrador Retrievers on pages 112-113. His name is Ginger's Chocolate August, dual Canadian/American field trials champion. There are pictures and references of many of the champions in Rusty's pedigree found in this book. Rusty was born in Yelm, Washington, on 22 December 1994. Her mother is Ebony Espresso of Cedar Pond and her father is Sir RHR Nelson. Mother, of course, is black.
