Our hungry children roam the streets, select a rival gang. They're looking for succour, somewhere to belong, not just a bang. Left behind, on the merry go round where all fits into an hour. Their instincts screaming 'what about us - time to reclaim our power'! Power, they only sense they have, no one taught them it was there - this misused tool becomes anger, if they're rejected turns to despair. Why aren't generations taking time to teach kids - they're the ones, who own the earth, it's their birth, 'thy will (eventually) be done'. You don't just see it on the street, it's in the eyes of the sick. Anorexic, schizophrenic, all cancers - subconscious claim of the quick and the dead, have reclaimed their lives; focusing their power - on self rule, unreachable, like street kids - in their final hour. Each gereation has ignored that fact - instated self at the helm. Perpetuating clueless doctrine 'you're lucky to be part of our realm'. Whose fault? They were taught the game, thought they'd rise above it. But, felt they earnt the right as betters deciding 'youth isn't fit!': It's true, we don't teach each child - it has it's own realm. No matter the size or power; a childs right is to guard their helm. Develop their own wee kingdom; share experience of lifes every hour. Improve; love; respect their own rule; give princes rights, empower! The dillitantes have recogniesd the struggle, somewhere deep inside - & rejected all they see - on the streets they'd rather reside; or alone; or in death; or without purpose; better than aping greed; & becoming 'those old gits' - judging - fulfilling their own needs: Then too; the power of children, the misusers who have taken a stand. Wielding the anger against the system - not, something they planned. Again, untaught, that no one deserves 'all strength' to be omnipotent but, it should be balanced, in ration; 'give & take' not a quotient: When recognised - it's important not to go to war, to get power back. If it's someone in your life, share; they'll give back down the track. Just by recognising the powergame, you surround your realm in a moat. You can quietly plan the ferry timetable - it's like leaving a note: "Your're in my space go back; tomorrow, I might let you cross, when you recognise you're the visitor - I am, my own boss. I'll send a boat & escort, & will share all I have & all I am. You can't invade or, control my realm; it's the spirit of mortal man. 22 March 1997 Robyn Anne Pace
