"PPLLEEAASSEEEEEE" Lucy pleaded. 
"NO WAY!" said Mary "NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!" 
"C'mon Mary you have to!!! It's my birthday"  
"I don't have to do anything" said Mary 
"So, let me get this straight" interrupted Russ who was also in the girls room "You want 
to fly to Tulsa, Oklahoma or wherever, to stalk Hanson, and you want US to go with you? 
What makes you think we would want to go along with a scheme like that?" 
"Well... I wouldn't say STALK,...just...trace" Lucy said 
"What are you going to do go, up and knock on there door and expect them to say 'Hello, 
you are the woman of my dreams I have been waiting my whole life for you...wanna grab 
a chili dog" 
"C'mon Mary this is serious" Mary rolled her eyes with a smile on her face.and Lucy 
continued "Well...actually to tell you the truth...I don't EXACTLY know where there 
house IS ...exactly" Mary started to talk but Lucy didn't stop. 
"But that's why I need you Mary, you're good at those kind of thing, and no one knows 
more about Hanson then me, and well we'd need you to drive "she said motioning 
towards Russ. "Us 3 together, we could find Hanson no problem" 
"Forget it Luce" Mary said "I'm not spending MY entire Summer vacation going on a 
wild goose chase for, your Romeo, who we most likely wont even find, Tulsa isn't a 
small town you know." Mary was now lying on her bad tossing a nerf ball from her left to 
right hand. 
"PLEASE, MARY!!!" Lucy said getting down on her knees next to Mary's bed. "If you 
dont agree with this my whole life will be ruined!!!!"  
"This is unbelievable! I cant believe you talked mom and dad into this." Said Mary still 
tossing the Nerf ball. 
"I, don't know about your life Luce, but my vacation, certainly will be, C-YA" said Russ 
heading for the door. 
"NO WAIT" said Lucy grabbing his arm "Please you guys I'll do anything you don't 
understand how much this means to me!"   Mary sundenly stopped tossing the ball with it 
tightly clenched in her right hand 
"...anything?" she asked  
"ANYTHING!" said Lucy. Mary exchanged looks with Russ and continued. 
"Even do ALL my chores for the entire next school year?" Said Mary, sitting up.  Lucy 
looked at her like 'I think your asking to much'  
"ok,, ok, ...  3/4 of my chores for the entire next school year?" 
"Ok, ill do 3/4 of your chores the entire school year, Now PLEASE will you come!" 
"Ok," said Mary shrugging and tossing Russ the Nerf ball "It's up to you, Russell Collins, 
what's it gonna be?" said Mary in her best announcer voice 
"I can't ...I...I've got plans" The girls looked at each other with disbelief. The only time 
Russ had plans was when it was with a girl and they'd be forgotten about the next 
morning anyway.   
"With who?" Said Lucy. 
"Tricia Wallace," Said Russ proudly "star of the Varsity team, she's inviting me to her 
parents cabin for a week" 
"she is NOT the star" said Mary "and besides you wouldn't want to be with her for a 
whole I cant even stand to be around her for an hour and a half, that girl has the most 
annoying voice." Mary said sitting down on Lucy's bed. 
"Ah, but its not her voice im after, and beside you only say that cause she's the..." 
"you guy's!" interrupted Lucy "I think were forgetting the POINT here!" 
"Oh, yeah" said Russ "Tulsa" He paused for a moment and then continued "ah-ight, 
Tricia can wait a guess" 
"R U SERIOUS?!?!?" Lucy squealed   
"Don't push me little girl I might change my mind" Said Russ 
"Ok," said Lucy with a HUGE smile on her face "THANK U RUSS!!!" Lucy said as he 
walked down the Hallway into his room. 
"yeah, yeah , yeah, you owe me sassy girl!" said Russ Lucy smiled she knew Russ secretly 
wanted to go, he only called her sassy girl when he was in a good mood. And besides he 
needed to get out of Seattle, they all did. 
"Oh, and tell the grinch in there that I've got the ball now I DID IT4 FREE" Lucy laughed 
and shut the door. Russ and Mary would always fight about which one Lucy liked better 
theyd done it ever since she was born, it was just a little game they'd play though, Lucy 
knew she could never choose between them Sometimes when she didn't want to hurt 
anyone's feelings, she'd say Rory. 
"What he say about me?" Asked Mary getting under her covers. 
"Oh, nothing we were just discussing how I like him better, he did it for free" said Lucy 
doing the same 
"Hey, don't even go there, he never would have agreed if I didn't" Said Mary 
"what do you mean?" Lucy asked 
"Peer Pressure" Replied Mary  Lucy laughed and turned out her light. Mary did the same. 
"Night Mare" said Lucy 
"G'night Lucy"  
"Oh, and Mary?"  
"yeah Luce?"  
"thank you" said Lucy they were now whispering 
"Your welcome...I think you'll say different though when school rolls around, almost 
double the chores!" Lucy groaned and rolled over, to dream about her and her brother and 
sister's vacation/Hanson Hunt"
