When they got to the car rentel place the girls waited while Russ did every thing and 
brought the car around. They loaded the luggage in to the trunk and headed for the hotel.

“YOU LOST IT!!???!!” Exclaimed Joe in outrage. Lucas just kept on looking down at the 
carpeted floor in the expensive hidden office.  
“So youve SCREWED it up agian Luke youve SCREWED it up agian!” 
“Im sorry alright!” Lucas finanly said tired of being lectured. 
“Sorry, huh?” Joe said “Whats sorry gonna do Luke? Is sorry gonna bring the ring back?” 
Luke shook his head. 
“Yeah your right sorry wont bring the ring back.” Joe was breathing heavily and getting 
sick of Lucas he knew that if he was in the room anylonger he wuld end up strangaling 
him. 
“So dont just stand there go find it!” 
“All by my self?” Lucas rebled 
“Well you seem to have lost it all by your self” Said Joe “Look Lucas, if I dont have this 
ring to give to Dag by July 1st, do you know what he’ll do to me? He’ll kill me Luke. and 
im not kidding around here Lucas he’ll hire a hit man or do it himself but he will KILL 
me Lucas. So you find that ring and FAST! Or I might just have to do the same!” This 
cought Lukes attention and he looked up at Joe. 
“You can get Mercedes to help you” suggested Joe 
“Oh! Great!” Said Lucas sarcasticly “Mercedes! Well im releived now! Im off the hook i 
have Mercedes to help me! C’mon Joe ya gotta be kidding me.” 
“This is no joke Lucas you find me that ring i dont care how. You kill as many people,  
reck as many buildings and drain as many oceans as needed but you find me that ring!”

Lucy slipped the ring onto the chain of her necklace and slid it around her neck.  
“Whered you get  that?” Mary asked her 
“I found it” Lucy said admiring the way it looke in their hotel room mirror. 
“Well Lucy its gotta belong to some one. Take it back to whereever you found it” 
“No-Way” Said Lucy “Who ever owned must not have thought of it as being very 
important if they were so careless as to loose it on a bus shuttle.” Russ then came in. 
“You guys hungry?” he asked 
“Yeah”Mary and Lucy  said in unicin “Im starved” added Mary 
They headed down to the resteraunt and sat down at the table. 
“So when are we going to start our hunt?” Rus asked before taking a sip of his water. 
“Well I was thinking tomorrow we would look through some phone books and see if 
there listed.” 
“I doubt it Luce” Pointed out Mary 
“Well we can still look.” They continued their discussion finished their dinner and 
headed back up to the room. 
“Lets go swimming” suggested Mary when the got up to the room 
“YEAH!” Agreed Lucy. 
“You gonna come Russ?” Asked Lucy 
“Nah you girlies go ahead and do your thing im gonna stay here watch some T.V.” Russ 
said flopping down on one of the beds. 
“You sure?” Mary asked him 
“Yeah, but dont you be too nice, Mary, I dont want you to get ahead.” 
“OK” said Mary sarcasticly. Mary changed into her Navy blue Tommy two peice and 
Lucy into he bikini with hippy flowers on it. They grabbed there towels and Lucy said on 
the way out. 
“Bye Russ, dont have too much fun.” 
“I’ll try Sassy” Lucy shut the door and jogged to catch up with Mary. They got in the 
elevator. 
“OMIGOD MARY!” Lucy squeled 
“What?” MAry asked smiling 
“We are gonna have like SO much fun! Two weeks here and NO parents in the hella cool 
hotel and we have a shot at meeting Hanson!” 
“Yeah, i guess it is pretty cool” Agreed Mary 
“Pretty cool? Its TOTALLY cool!” The elevator doors opend and the girls got out.  
“Um....this way” Mary said pointing to the right. “No this way” she said pointing straight 
“Or maybe its this way” she said not so surly point down the left hall. 
“Mary I REALY have to pee” Lucy said. Mary lauphed. 
“Ok its right there go ask some one where it is and meet you back at the bath room”  
“Ok” said Lucy dashing down the hall. Mary curved around the corner and saw a man at 
the coke machines trying desperatly to get his dollaar to go in. 
“Excuse me” They both said at the same time. Mary laughed and said 
“You first.” 
“Do you have change for a dollar?” The dark brown haird man asked 
“No Im sorry, all my monies up in my room. Do you think you cuold direct me to the 
pool?” She asked. The man then gave her some VERY confusing directions. Mary just 
stared blankly.  
“Would you like me to show you?” 
“Yes please” She said relived. the walked for a little while Mary slitely behind him until 
he spoke up. 
“My names Walker” He said holding out his hand.  
“Mary” she said shaking it 
“Nice to meet you Mary. Are you vacationing with your family?” 
“Sort of Im here with my brother and sister.” 
“Really how old are they?” 
“Lucy, My younger sister will be 12 tomorrow and Russ, my brother is 17” 
“And you are...?” He asked 
“Im 14” 
“Ah. 14 I have kids right around your ages” 
“Really?” She asked 
“Yup. 3 boys, I actually have more but they are much youger My wife is expecting our 
7th due in January.” 
“Wow 7” Mary said “Congatulations” She wasnt sure if that was reallt the right thing to 
say but she said it any way. 
“Are you vacationing here with them?” 
“Oh, No we live here in Tulsa we just stay in Hotels sometimes to get away from things” 
Walker decided he would stop talking now he was afraid he was reviling to much. Mary 
thought it was sort of strange how he said his family would stay in hotles to get away 
from things. Maybe he didnt get along with his neighbors or something.  
“Well here it is.” Walker said 
“thank you so much” replied Mary 
“any time”  
“SoI’ll se ya around” Said Mary beginging to walk off. 
“No probably not. Were checking out in a couple minutes.” He said motionging twords 
the front desk. 
“Ok well thanx agianbye”

Russ got tierd of watching TV so he decided to go get a coke at the pop machines. As he 
was looking around, for one. A blonde boy about 12 came zooming down the halls in 
roller-blades. 
“Hey! Watch it” Russ said 
“SORRY” Shouted the boy over his shoulder. Russ tuned back around and then heard a 
women’s voice call. 
“Zachary! C’mon hurry up were leaving. How many times have I told you not to roller 
blade in here! You’ll get us kicked out.” 
“But were leaving any way” the boy smartly replied. The voices faided off down the 
hallway until it all the posters on Lucy’s side of the girls room suddenly looked firmiliar. 
‘That was Zac Hanson’ Russ thought to himself. He trned back around a rushed down the 
hall in the direction the boy was headed with his mom but he was no where to be seen. 
‘Man’ said Russ under his breath.

“Who was that?” Lucy asked Mary. 
“Oh that was just Walker he helped me find my way here.” 
“Walker who? where does he live? Is he still here? Does he have any kids?” Lucy 
questioned 
“I dont know, i dont know, no, and yes he has 6 and will have 7 in January, dont ask why 
he told me that...I think they are having problams with their neighbors though.” Mary told 
her. 
“MARY!!!!!!” Lucy moaned. 
“OK so maybe they arnt, jeez whats your problem?” 
“DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT WAS?” 
“Yeah.. i just told you that was Walker dont worry he’s a nice guy.” 
“Mary, that was Walker Hanson!” 
“How do you know?” 
“Well how many Walkers do you think their are in Tulsa that have 6 kids 1 due in 
January. Did he say anything about the ages?” 
“Yeah he said  3 older boys” Mary just then relized that Lucy must have been right, “and 
that they were about our age, Lucy your right.” 
“Of course im right. And you let him get away.!” 
“Get away? Lucy he isnt like an endangerd bug or something what was i supose to do tie 
him up and through hime in a cage?” 
“Well....we gotta go find him!” Lucy said begining to walk away. 
“He isnt here Lucy.”Mary reminded her “what about swimming?”  
“I dont feel like swimming any more!” Lucy replied, angraly. Mary gave in deciding it 
wouldnt 
be very fun swimming by herself. The girls headed back up to the room and let 
themselves in with the key. Russ jumped up when he saw them. The both started 
rambling on about there expeirience’s but when Russ said  
“Then I KNEW it must have been Zac Hanson” It cought Lucy’s attention. 
“What?” She asked slowly. Russ repeated his story and Mary repeated hers to Russ. 
“This is so cool” Squeled Lucy  
“Cool?” Mary asked “I thought you were pissed. 
“Well...I am”Replied Lucy changing her expression to mad “but its still so cool” She said 
changing it back to happy. Mary smiled and rolled her eyes at her sisters giddyness. The 
rest of the night went by pretty fast they watched a movie on Pay-Per-Veiw and played 
poker with M&M’s until about Mid night. They tried to get to sleep then it was a little 
hard cause It seemed like only 10 to them. Lucy changed into her cloud pajama’s and 
Mary put on plaid boxers and a tank top. Lucy laid there for a while. It barely seemed to 
hit her earlier in the elavator. But know it suddenly occerd to her. She was here, in Tulsa 
Oklahoma fulfilling what it seemed like at 12 her lif long dream. And the dream of 
thousands of girls across the world. She felt like it was her duty or something to meet 
them. Even if it was just like a split second. Or maybe if she didnt even really meet them, 
like, formaly if it was just a simple “Hi” no matter how she met them she just wished she 
wou. Then ‘ I could stop obsessing over it and get on with my life’ she thought. In these 
thoughts she oventually drifted off listening to “I will come to you”
