Mary walked down the hallway towards the room she shared with her sister Lucy. She was worn out from basketball practice, her and some of her team mates decided to get together during the off season a few times. The sound of the point guards annoying voice was ringing in her ears. As she opened the door she heard another annoying yet familiar sound. "the day, that I left Lucy, a tear, fell from her eye" "Luce, don't you think you've listened to that CD enough for one lifetime? Or at least that song!" she said putting down her bag. Lucy would play the song "Lucy" over...and over ...and over again, she was convinced it was written about her. "No! You can never listen to much!" 11 year old Lucy said looking up from her 'Teen magazine. "I wouldn't bet on that" replied Mary, changing out of her warm-ups. A few minutes Later the girls brother Russ walked in. Mary who was 14 and Lucy who was 11 had 2 older brothers. Russ who was 17 and Rory who was 20 and living away from home. They all pretty much looked alike. Except, Rory and Lucy had blonde hair and looked more like their Mother and Mary and Russ had a chestnut golden brown color hair and looked more like their father. They all had green eyes. "Time for dinner guys" said Russ. "Ok, just a minute" they said During dinner their father Dave tried desperately to start conversation. "So, Lucy your birthday's coming up, anything in particular you'd like?" "Well, actually..."Lucy began "Yeah Lemme guess, school will be out in a few days so, you want a huge party with all the popular people, and you want Hanson to come and sing?" guessd Mary pointing her fork at Lucy.
