     Welcome to my Beaman Lineage Page. As with my Clinkenbeard and Kinison lineage, this is a newer line for me. It wasn't until I received my DNA results from Ancestry that it came into play, but I will not go into specifics. I am starting this page off with Francis Beaman until I can work my way back further, as generation or two seems a little spotty. You will notice that I have the word tentative after a name. This is due to the fact that I cannot prove their lineage to a certain individual. The basis I use is name and location to others within that certain area. Mary born 21 Apr 1735, Northampton Co., North Carolina. They were listed in the 1790 Duplin Co., North Carolina Census records with 4 m -16, 2 m +16, 4 females. Francis died on 11 May 1785, Sampson Co., North Carolina. Their children were:

9. Polly Beaman, b:1764, Northampton, North Carolina. She married Jesse Pearson 15 Oct 1789, Nahunta Monthly Meating, Wayne Co., North Carolina. Jesse was the son of Peter Pearson.

    *Briant Beaman was born ca 1785 North Carolina. He married Mary Langdon. Mary was born before 1800 in North Carolina, the daughter of James Langdon and Patty Stephenson. Their family was listed in the 1860 Otter Warren Co., Iowa Census. Emsley was a soldier in the Civil War in Co. E, 18th Iowa Infantry.
