     *William Cox, born 15 February 1776 in Georgia. He married three times. He married firstly to Elizabeth Thomas on 29 November 1794, Newberry Co., South Carolina. Elizabeth was born on 23 September 1773, Newberry Co., South Carolina, the daughter of Isaac Thomas and Mary Davies. They were listed in the 1790, 1800, 1810, 1820, 1830, and 1840 Randolph Co., Indiana Census records. Elizabeth died on 18 October 1849 and is buried in the Economy Cemetery, Economy, Wayne Co., Indiana. Their children were:

1. Jemima Cox, born 16 August 1795, Newberry Co., South Carolina, married Samuel Jackson. Samuel was born on 14 March 1792, Stokes Co., North Carolina, the son of Samuel Jackson and Hannah Gibson. They were listed in the 1830 and 1840 Randolph Co., Indiana Census. Samuel died on 30 March 1848. Jemima was listed in the 1850 and 1860 Randolph Co., Indiana Census records. Jemima died on 06 September 1861. They are buried in the Economy Cemetery, Economy, Wayne Co., Indiana. Their children were:

     a. William Jackson, born 29 Nov 1816, Belmont Co, OH, married Rachel Mills on 18 Mar 1834, Wayne Co., IN. Rachel was born on 21 May 1814, Allen Co., IN, the daughter of Richard Mills and Nancy Osborn. William died on 28 Jun 1845 and Rachel died on 24 Mar 1848. They are buried in the Economy Cemetery, Economy, Wayne Co., IN. Children: Eli, Elizabeth, Harlan, Hannah, Richard, and Jemima Jackson.

     b. Hannah Jackson, born 19 May 1817, Belmont Co., OH, married twice. She married firstly to David Hutchins on 01 Apr 1833, Randolph Co., IN. David was born in 1813 in NC. the son of Joseph Hutchins and Hannah Stanley. David died in 1851 in IN. Children: Elizabeth, Louis, Ara, Ira, Jemima, Charlotte, David, and William Hutchins. Hannah married secondly to William Chamness on 15 Jul 1853. William was born on 15 Jun 1793 in NC, the son of Joshua Chamness and Rachel Williams. Hannah died in 1898 and is buried in the Economy Cemetery, Economy, Wayne Co., IN. William died on 28 Apr 1886.

     c. Elizabeth Jackson, born in 1820 in IN, married James Ballinger on 01 Dec 1836, Randolph Co., IN. James was born on 26 Mar 1815 in Greene Co., Ohio, the son of Jesse Ballinger and . Betsey died on 30 Jul 1898 and James died on 29 Jul 1877. They are buried in the Economy Cemetery, Economy, Wayne Co., IN. Children: Ain, Jesse, Mahlon, Lydia, Samuel, Eliza, Elizabeth and Joshua Ballinger.

     d. Sarah Jackson, born 17 Aug 1821 in IN, married Lewis Hutchens on 25 Mar 1839, Randolph Co., IN. Lewis was born on 27 Jul 1816, NC, the son of Joseph Hutchins and Hannah Stanley. Sarah died on 12 May 1907 and Lewis died on 24 Aug 1890. They are buried in the TriMello Cemetery, Royal, Clay Co., IA. Children: Melinda, Samuel, Hannah, William, James, Jonathan, Jemima, Mary E., Sarah, and Martha Hutchens.

     e. John Jackson, born 12 Feb 1824 in IN, married twice. He married firstly to Susannah Peacock. Susannah was born in 1818, Randolph Co., NC, the daughter of William Peacock and Catherine Edmonds. Susannah died in 1858. Children: Mary E., Rebecca, Sarah, Hannah J., Jemima, Catherine, John, and William Jackson. John married secondly to Mary O. Higginbottom. Mary was born on 03 Dec 1850 in Knox Co., Ohio, the daughter of Joseph Higginbottom. John died on 25 Jan 1909 and is buried in the Union Chapel Methodist Cemetery, Carlos, Randolph Co., IN. Mary died on 25 Oct 1906 and is buried in the Huntsville Cemetery, Madoc, Randolph Co., IN. Children: Margaret, and Emma Jackson.

     f. Anna Jackson, born 06 Jan 1826, Randolph Co., IN, married twice. She married firstly to Thomas Hutchens on 26 Sep 1844, Wayne Co., IN. Thomas was born 13 Feb 1825, IN, the son of Hezekiah Hutchens and Clara Spain. Thomas died in 1888 and is buried in the Valton Cemetery, Woodland, Sauk Co., WI. Children: Ann, Ira, Jacob, Macy and Moses Hutchens. Anna married secondly to Roswell Covey on 09 Nov 1890, Sauk Co., WI. Roswell was born Dec 1822, NY, the son of Walter Covey and Mehitable Stryker. He was previously married. Anna died on 26 Jul 1914 and is buried in the Valton Cemetery, Woodland, Sauk Co., WI.

     g. Jemima Jackson, born 22 Dec 1828, Randolph Co., IN, married John Cox on 09 Apr 1846, Randolph Co., IN. John was born on 05 Mar 1822, IN, the son of Thomas Cox and Rebecca Thornburg. Jemima died on 08 Sep 1915 and John died on 07 Nov 1907. They are buried in the Union Chapel Cemetery, Carlos, Randolph Co., IN. Children: Ira, William, Thomas, and Charles Cox.

     h. Rebecca Jackson, born 17 Dec 1829, Randolph Co., IN, married Alvin M. Owens. Alvin was born in 1829 in NC, the son of John Owens and Lavinia Elliott. Rebecca died on 14 Jan 1924 and Alvin died on 06 Oct 1920. They are buried in the Hartford City Cemetery, Hartford City, Blackford Co., IN. Children: John, Martha, Eva, Horace, Josephine, Liva, Frances, Iza, George, and Ada Owens.

     i. Mary Jackson, born 07 Nov 1831, married James Hutchens on 01 Jun 1848, Wayne Co., IN. James was born on 16 May 1829, Wayne Co., IN, the son of Hezekiah Hutchens and Clara Spain. Mary died in 1902 and James died on 10 Mar 1905. Children: Eunice, Sarah, Freemont, Thomas, Mary A., Alonzo, Clara, and Ida M. Hutchens.

     j. Jacob A. Jackson, born 07 Nov 1833, Randolph Co., IN, married Esther A. Davisson on 11 Mar 1853, Randolph Co., IN. Esther was born on 30 Jan 1835, Randolph Co., IN, the daughter of Ira Davisson and Catherine Peacock. Jacob died on 23 Nov 1865 and Esther died on 04 Apr 1890. Children: John W., Jemima, Sarah, Samuel, Armilda, Martha, and Jacob Jackson.

     k. Melinda Jackson, born 14 May 1837, Randolph Co., IN, married Nathan Alexander Couch on 09 Aug 1856, Randolph Co., IN. Nathan was born 02 Jun 1838, Guilford Co., NC, the son of Meshack Couch and Elizabeth Mills. Melinda died on 09 May 1922 and Nathan died on 09 Mar 1913. They are buried in the Newell Cemetery, Newell, Buena Vista Co., IA. Children: Samuel, William, Addison, and Mary Couch.

2. John Cox, born 17 October 1799, Newberry Co., South Carolina, married Barbara Pitsenbarger. Barbara was born on 27 October 1796 in Virginia, the daughter of Jacob Pitsenbarger and Margaret Butcher. John died on 27 July 1822 and Barbara died on 04 April 1820. Their children were:

     a. Jacob Cox, born 04 Apr 1820, OH, married Rachel Hodson on 26 Oct 1837, Wayne Co., IN. Rachel was born on 19 Apr 1821, NC, the daughter of Isaac Hodson and Susanna Mills. Jacob died on 04 Jan 1905 and Rachel died on 26 Mar 1902. They are buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Zenda, Kingsman Co., KS. Children: Barbara, Mary, John W., Elias, Elisha, William and Isaac A. Cox.

3. Elizabeth Cox, born 1803, Newberry Co., South Carolina, married Henry Mullenix on 12 August 1819 in Montgomery Co., Ohio. Henry was born on 26 May 1800 in Randolph Co., Indiana. They were listed in the 1820 Randolph, Montgomery Co., Ohio Census, the 1830 and 1840 Wayne Co., Indiana Census, and the 1850 and 1860 Randolph Co., Indiana Census. Henry died on 06 July 1869. Elizabeth was listed in the 1870 Woodland, Sauk Co., Wisconsin Census records. Elizabeth died on 01 July 1877. They are buried in the Valton Cemetery, Valton, Sauk Co., Wisconsin. Their children were:

     a. Mary Mullenix, born 13 Oct 1820, Guilford Co., NC, married John Armstead Dean. John was born on 06 Jan 1812, Guilford Co., NC, the son of Daniel Dean and Elizabet Witt. Mary died on 19 May 1849 and is buried in the Union Chapel Methodist Cemetery, Carlos, Randolph Co., IN. John married two other times. He died on 04 Jan 1914. Children: Henry, Elizabeth, Bethany, and Melinda Dean.

     b. Elizabeth Mullenix, born 1823, NC, married William Bailey on 24 May 1823, Wayne Co., IN. Elizabeth died in or around 1847. Children: Mary R., Sarah, and Matthew Mahlon Bailey.

     c. Susannah Mullenix, born 01 Oct 1826, NC, married Abel Thomas on 28 Apr 1847, Wayne Co., IN. Abel was born on 22 Sep 1813, the son of Abel and Ruth Thomas. Susannah died on 05 Jul 1849 and Abel died on 27 May 1849. They are buried in the Union Chapel Methodist Cemetery, Carlos, Randolph Co., IN. Children: Susannah Thomas.

     d. Jemima Mullenix, born 1828, Randolph Co., IN, married Wright Thornton on 30 Aug 1848, Randolph Co., IN. Jemima died in Jul 1850, Randolph Co., IN.

     e. Sarah Mullinex, born 1828, Randolph Co., IN, married Samuel Davisson on 04 Sep 1849, Randolph Co., IN. Samuel was born in Apr 1832, Randolph Co., IN, the son of Ira Davisson and Catherine Peacock. Sarah died on 01 Jan 1907 and Samuel died on 09 Dec 1902. They are buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Ladysmith, Rusk Co., WI. Children: Voluntine M., William. Anzonette, Minerva, Enoch, Ira, John, Clamana, and Maggie Davisson.

     f. William Cox Mullinex, born 13 Dec 1833, Wayne Co., IN, married three times. He married firstly to Hepsa Ann Bunker on 26 Sep 1855. Hepsa was born on 01 Jun 1839, Randolph Co., IN, the daughter of Jeremiah Bunker and Rachel Bennett. Hepsa died on 08 Mar 1867 and is buried in the Valton Cemetery, Valton, Sauk Co., WI. Children: Hannah M., Heywood B., and Julian Mullenix. William married secondly to Mrs. Cynthia Ann Bates Wickersham. Cynthia was born on 25 Jan 1833, Union Co., IN, the daughter of Isaac Bates and Nancy Noble. She was previously married to Jehu Wickersham. Cynthia died on 03 Mar 1896 and is buried in the Kishwaukee Cemetery, Kishwaukee, Winnebago Co., IL. Children: Rollin Mullenix. William married lastly to Mrs. Mary Ann Jones Mann. Mary was born on 23 Apr 1834, OH, the daughter of William and Hulda Jones. She was previously married to Richard Mann. William died on 21 Feb 1907, and is buried in the Kishwaukee Cemetery, Kishwaukee, Winnebago Co., IL.

     g. John Henry Mullenix, born 1828, Randolph Co., IN, married Mary Ann Small on 27 Aug 1870 Woodland, Sauk Co., WI. Mary was born on 08 Sep 1851 in IN. Henry died on 05 Aug 1900. Children: Stuart, Lizzie, James, William, Mary, Elizabeth, Laura, Charles, Anna, Harry, and Joseph Mullenix.

4. Sarah Cox, born 17 January 1806, Newberry Co., South Carolina, married Jonathan Stanley on 21 March 1833 in Randolph Co., Indiana. Jonathan was born in 1812 in North Carolina, the son of William Stanley and Margaret Hutchins. They were listed in the 1840 and 1850 West River, Randolph Co., Indiana Census, and the 1860 Woodland, Sauk Co., Wisconsin Census. Jonathan died on 15 June 1862. Sarah was listed in the 1870 Dodge, Boone Co., Iowa Census records. Sarah died on 21 November 1877. She is buried in the Valton Cemetery, Valton, Sauk Co., Wisconsin. Their children were:

     a. Mary Louise Stanley, born 22 Jan 1837, IN, married George W. James on 26 Feb 1869, Boone Co., IA. George was born on 21 Jul 1844 in Stephenson Co., IL, the son of John Anderson James and Elizabeth A. Tumbleson. Mary died on 06 Apr 1896 and is buried in the Valton Cemetery, Valton, Sauk Co., WI. George remarried and died on 19 Jun 1912. He is buried in the Island Lake Cemetery, Island Lake, Rusk Co., WI. Children: Sarah Elizabeth, John J., and Francis M. James.

     b. William Henry Stanley, born 16 Jan 1839, Randolph Co., IN, married Matilda Elizabeth Davis on 13 Jun 1857, Wayne Co., IN. Matilda was born on 08 Jun 1830, MD, the daughter of James Davis. William died on 16 May 1921 and Matilda died on 03 Apr 1921. They are buried in the Concord Cemetery, Concord, Dixon Co., NE. Children: Clara Etta, Alson D., Della, Franklin Sherman, James J., Mary, Rosa Stanley.

5. Phebe Cox, born 09 April 1807, Montgomery Co., Ohio, married Joseph H. Jackson on 06 September 1827 in Randolph Co., Indiana. Joseph was born on 23 October 1804, Stokes Co., North Carolina, the son of Samuel Jackson and Hannah Gibson. They were listed in the 1830 and 1840 Randolph Co., Indiana Census. Joseph died on 25 March 1858 White Co., Indiana Census. Joseph died on 25 March 1858. Phebe was listed in the 1860 and 1870 Louisa Co., Iowa Census records. Phebe died on 10 October 1899. They are buried in the Asbury Cemetery, Louisa Co., Iowa. Their children were:

     a. Elias Gibson Jackson, born 25 May 1828, Randolph Co., IN, married three times. He married firstly to Margaret Beauchamp on 12 Nov 1853, Washington Co., Iowa. Margaret was born on 20 May 1827 in Pickaway Co., OH, the daughter of John Beauchamp and Nancy Wilson. Margaret died on 01 Oct 1895 and is buried in the Beauchamp Cemetery, Crawfordsville, Washington Co., IA. Children: Magdaline, Margaret, Albert, Olletha, Martha, and Fred Jackson. Elias married secondly to Catherine Dee Ross. Catherine was born on 04 Dec 1836 in Pershire Co., Scotland, the daughter of William Ross and Margaret Gow. She was previously married to John Slacks. Elias married lastly to Sarah A. Matthews. Sarah was born in 1840 in Holmes Co., OH, the daughter of Jacob Matthews and Elizabeth Miller. She was previously married to Henry Simons. Elias died on 26 February 1916 and is buried with his first wife in the Beauchamp Cemetery, Crawfordsville, Washington Co., IA.

     b. John Henry Jackson, born 08 Dec 1829, Randolph Co., IN, married Nancy Snyder on 08 Dec 1853, Tippecanoe Co., IN. Nancy was born 13 Oct 1837, IN, the daughter of John Snyder and Rachel Ridgeway. John died on 03 Mar 1917 and Nancy died on 25 Oct 1919. They are buried in the Peoria Cemetery, Franklin Co., KS. Children: Luther, Martine, Phebe, Henry, Jessie, Jennie, Minnie, John, Nancy, and Reuben Jackson.

     c. Reuben C. Jackson, born 1831, Randolph Co., IN, married Emaline Martin on 11 Nov 1852, Louisa Co., IA. Emaline was born 10 Feb 1835, OH, the daughter of John Martin and Mary Colbert. Reuben died on 05 Jan 1893 and is buried in the Moore Cemetery, Moore, Cleveland Co., OK. Emaline died on 13 Jun 1895 and is buried in the Hudson Cemetery, Hudson, McLean Co., IL. Children: Margaret, Clara, Emma, Frank, Joseph, Reuben, Nellie, and Dessie Jackson.

     d. Jesse S. Jackson, born 20 Nov 1833, Randolph Co., IN, married Margaret Elizabeth Mickey. Margaret was born on 22 Nov 1846, IA, the daughter of Henry Mickey and Sarah Gardner. Jesse died on 24 Apr 1922 and Margaret died on 05 Jan 1921. They are buried in the Fredonia Cemetery, Fredonia, Louisa Co., IA. Children: Joseph, Edward, Charles, Maude, Jesse, Estella Mickey.

     e. Elizabeth Ann Jackson, born 11 Jan 1836, Randolph Co., IN, married Henry Curtis Martin on 01 Sep 1853, White Co., IN. Henry was born 17 Aug 1824 in OH, the son of Jehu Martin. Elizabeth died on 06 Oct 1912 and Henry died on 21 Oct 1900. They are buried in the Cedar Twp. Cemetery, Freemont, Mahaska Co., IA.      f. Sarah Jane Jackson, born 26 Feb 1838, Randolph Co., IN, married Evan Crawford on 28 Dec 1854, White Co., IN. Evan was born on 29 Jul 1828, IN, the son of Jacob Crawford and Mary Miller. Sarah died on 21 May 1889 and Evan died on 23 Sep 1897. They are buried in the Key West Cemetery, Lebo, Coffey Co., KS. Children: Jacob Miller, Alice, Edward, Susan, Henrietta, James, Rachel, Eva, William, Matilda, and Reed Crawford.

     g. Henrietta Jackson, born 10 Oct 1840, Delaware Co., IN, married twice. She married firstly Francis Marion Beauchamp on 09 Aug 1860, Louisa Co., IA. Francis was born in 1841, White Co., IN, the son of John Beauchamp and Nancy Wilson. They divorced. Henrietta married secondly to Henry Wallace Snyder on 01 Sep 1864, Louisa Co., IA. Henry was born on 14 Jan 1840, Tippencanoe Co., IN, the son of John Snyder and Rachel Ridgeway. Henrietta died on 14 Jan 1935 and is buried in the Asbury Cemetery, Olds, Henry Co., IA (No headstone). Henry died on 26 May 1911, and is buried in the Hutchinson Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS. Children: Carrie, Vestal, Delilah, Wallace, Louis, Mary, William, and Joseph Snyder.

     h. Abner Johnston Jackson, born 21 Sep 1845, IN, married Eliza Jane Leeper on 06 Dec 1867, Louisa Co., IA. Eliza was born on 14 Jan 1849, OH, the daughter of Joseph Leeper and Carolyn Stewart. Abner died on 11 Mar 1908 and Eliza died on 11 Jun 1909. They are buried in the Hailey Cemetery, Hailey, Blaine Co., ID. Children: Curtis, Agusta, Chalmers, Frank, Jesse, Abner, Ralph, Anna, and Edith Jackson.

     i. Joseph Jay Jackson, born 11 Feb 1842, Randolph Co., IN, married Louisa Jane Porter. Louisa was born on 05 Jul 1851, Grant Co., IN, the daughter of Joshua Porter and Charlotte Campbell. Joseph died on 24 Dec 1826 and Louisa died on 03 Apr 1932. They are buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Reno, Washoe Co., NV. Children: Lula, Joseph, Phebe, Abner, Ruby, Agnes, Eugene, Ernest, and Helena Jackson.

6. William Cox, born 1808, Montgomery Co., Ohio, married Hannah Jackson on 16 October 1828, Randolph Co., IN. Hannah was born in 1813, Montgomery Co., Ohio, the daughter of Jehu Jackson and Lucy Wright. They were listed in the 1830 and 1840 West River, Randolph Co., Indiana Census. William died on 11 November 1849. He is buried in the Economy Cemetery, Economy, Wayne Co., Indiana. Hannah was listed in the 1850 Green, Wayne Co., Indiana Census and the 1860 Bloomfield, Davis Co., Iowa Census records. I could not find her after that Census. Their children were:

     a. Lucy Ann Cox, born 09 Dec 1825, IN, married Walter Wilson "Wilson" Alsop on Nov 1845, Posey Co., IN. Wilson was born 16 Nov 1819. IN, the son of James Alsop and Elizabeth Johnston. Lucy died on 05 Mar 1890 and Wilson died on 20 Apr 1894. They are buried in the Maple Hill Cemetery, New Harmony, Posey Co., IN. Children: Jane, William, James, Henry, Mary J., Ella, Elizabeth and Rose Alsop.

     b. Elizabeth Cox, born 1831, IN, married George Washington Ballenger on 19 Aug 1847, Wayne Co., IN. George was born on 07 Sep 1826, Ross Co., OH, the son of Benjamin Ballenger and Sarah Shivley. Elizabeth died on 05 May 1894, George died on 06 Mar 1889. They are buried in the Lisbon City Cemetery, Lisbon, Ransom Co., North Dakota. Children: Sarah E., Wesley, Martha, Hannah, William, Elsworth, Jacob, Mary, Ulysses G., Ersa, and Lester Ballenger.

     d. Joshua Cox, born 1837, IA, married Sarah Ellen "Ellen" Benefield on 15 Jan 1857, Davis Co., IA. Sarah was born 30 Apr 1839, England, the daughter of John Benefiel and Elizabeth Montgomery. Joshua died on 30 Jun 1880 and Ellen died on 15 Aug 1895. Children: Anna S., William S., and Laura Cox.

     e. Rebecca Cox, born 17 Apr 1838, IN, married Allen L. Lamb on 30 Jun 1855, Wayne Co., IN. Allen was born on 29 Jan 1836, IN, the son of Milo L. Lamb and Susan Cain. Rebecca died on 23 Feb 1920 (US Quaker Meeting Records, 1681-1935). Allen died on 09 Feb 1923. They are buried in the Webster Cemetery, Webster, Wayne Co., IN. Children: Elmer Lamb.

     f. William Cox, born 1842, IN, married Allen L. Lamb on 30 Jun 1855, Wayne Co., IN. Allen was born on 29 Jan 1836, IN, the son of Milo L. Lamb and Susan Cain. 7. Anna Cox, born 30 May 1809, Montgomery Co., Ohio, married Jesse Stanley on 18 Mar 1830, Randolph Co., Indiana. Jesse was born on 16 March 1803, Stokes Co., North Carolina, the son of James Stanley and Agnes Stanley. They were listed in the 1840 and 1850 West River, Randolph Co., Indiana Census. Josephus died on 24 Apr 1898 and is buried in the Valton Cemetery, Valton, Sauk Co., WI. Children: Elizabeth, Luellan, Orlando, James, Eva, Hulda, Willie, and Wilber Good.

     f. Lewis Elwood Stanley, born 24 Jun 1838, Wayne Co., IN (US Hinshaw Index to Quaker Records, 1860-1940), married Louisa Jane Cox on 21 Nov 1845, Randolph Co., IN. Louisa was born on 28 Jan 1837, IN, the daughter of Benjamin Cox and Judith Bunker. Lewis died on 14 Feb 1865 in Warren Co., KY and is buried in the Nashville National Cemetery, Madison, TN. Louisa remarried to John Winchel. Children: Elwood, Mary, George, and Rozetta Stanley.

     h. Jesse Stanley, born 14 May 1843, Wayne Co., IN (US Quaker Meeting Records 1681-1935), married Olive Florence Newman on 21 Feb 1865, Vernon, WI. Olive was born on 05 Jan 1849, OH, the daughter of Chauncey Newman and Cynthia Emery. Jesse died on 31 Jul 1908 and Olive died on 05 Aug 1919. They are buried in the Newell Cemetery, Newell, Buena Vista Co., IA. Children: Florence, Clarence, Sylvester, Clara, Nora, Anna, John, and Maude Stanley.

     i. Thomas Elwood Stanley, born 07 Jun 1846, Wayne Co., IN (US Hinshaw Index to Quaker Records, 1860-1940), married Sarah Ann Stowe. Sarah was born on 18 Jun 1849, Co. Lincolnshire, England, the daughter of Ner Stowe and Ann Maw. Thomas died on 13 Feb 1917 and Sarah died on 06 Oct 1929. Children: Foster, Minnie, Rose, Rosh, Loretta, and Elizabeth Stanley.

7. Mary Ann Cox, born 01 July 1813, Montgomery Co., Ohio, married John Stanley on 27 November 1837, Randolph Co., Indiana. John was born on 18 April 1803, Guilford Co., North Carolina, the son of John and Catherine Stanley. They were listed in the 1840, 1850, and 1860 Stoney Creek, Henry Co., Indiana Census. John died on 26 July 1865 and is buried in the Moore Cemetery, Blounstville, Henry Co., Indiana. Their children were:

     a. Jehu H. Stanley, born 09 Oct 1838, Blountsville, Henry Co., IN, married Mary Jane "Jane" Johnston on 14 Feb 1867, Henry Co., IN, the daughter of John Johnston and Eunice Downing. Jehu died on 19 Sep 1894 and Jane died on 12 Nov 1934. They are buried in the Hammer Cemetery, Lincoln, Lincoln Co., KS. Children: James R., Nora, Daniel, Sarah, Arthur, DeLoss, Mary Ann, Eunice, Luther, Lawrence, Lucy, Henry, George, Leroy, Guy, Ward, and Enid Stanley.

     c. Elizabeth Jane Stanley, born 16 Oct 1843, Blountsville, Henry Co., IN, married Isaac E. Estep on 03 Jan 1862, Henry Co., IN. Isaac was born in 1838 in IN, the son of James Estep and Sarah Ward. Elizabeth died on 14 Oct 1917 and Isaac died on 24 Mar 1901. They are buried in the Fredonia City Cemetery, Fredonia, Wilson Co., KS. Children: John Wesley Estep.

     d. Lavina F. Stanley, born 08 Jan 1847, Blountsville, Henry Co., IN, married William Lindsey on 13 Nov 1865, Henry Co., IN. William was born in 1844 in Randolph Co., IN, the son of Thomas Lindsey and Sarah Finch. Lavina died on 14 Dec 1922 and William died in 1911. They are buried in the Union Cemetery, Windsor, Randolph Co., IN. Children: Eva, Zella, Mary, Maggie, Lana, and Wilma Lindsey.

     e. Emanuel Morris "Morris" Stanley, born 03 Apr 1849, Blountsville, Henry Co., IN, married three times. He married firstly to Lydia J. Cory on 28 Dec 1869, Delaware Co., IN. Lydia was born on 20 Nov 1852, IN, the daughter of Abraham Cory and Mary Bice. Lydia died on 01 May 1875 Children: Everett and Lawrence Morris. Morris married secondly to Margaret Catherine Hutchings on 26 Aug 1876, Kosciusco Co., IN. Margaret was born on 03 Mar 1852, Delaware Co., IN, the daughter of George W. Hutchings and Charlotte Fuller. Margaret died on 15 Jan 1916 and is buried in the Beech Grove Cemetery, Muncie, Delaware Co., IN Children: Dessie, and James Stanley. Morris married lastly to Margaret Elizabeth Seacrest on 03 Jun 1923, Delaware Co., IN. Margaret was born on 18 Dec 1859, Delaware Co., IN, the daughter of George and Deborah Seacrest. Morris died on 16 Apr 1932, Delaware Co., IN and is buried with his 2nd wife in the Beech Grove Cemetery, Muncie, Delaware Co., IN.

     f. John Stanley, born 03 Aug 1851, Blountsville, Henry Co., IN, married Susannah Amanda "Amanda" Felton. Amanda was born on 12 Apr 1860, Delaware Co., IN, the daughter of Adam Felton and Barbara Cross. John died on 02 Oct 1925 and Amanda died on 18 Oct 1844. They are buried in the Beech Grove Cemetery, Muncie, Delaware Co., IN. Children: Charles, Herbert, Terrell, Eva, Obie, Orville, Iva and Lewis Stanley.

     g. Martha Ann Stanley, born 10 Jan 1854, Blountsville, Henry Co., IN, married Jefferson Davis Arment. Jefferson was born on 27 Nov 1852, IN, the son of William Arment and Margaret White. Martha died on 05 Sep 1934 and Jefferson died on 21 Feb 1922. They are buried in the Blountsville Cemetery, Blountsville, Henry Co., IN.

9. Joseph Cox, born 08 July 1816, Randolph Co., Indiana, married Hester Ann Mills on 24 November 1834, Springfield Monthly Meeting House, Springfield, Randolph Co., Indiana. Hester was born on 12 May 1818, Wayne Co., Indiana, the daughter of Richard Mills and Nancy Osborn. They were listed in the 1840 West River, Randolph Co., Indiana Census. Joseph died on 14 October 1849 and is buried in the Economy Cemetery, Economy, Hester married secondly to Edward Thomas, Wayne Co., Indiana. Their children were:

     a. Mary Cox, born 08 Feb 1835, Wayne Co., IN, Springfield Monthly Meeting (US Quaker Meeting Records, 1681-1935), married Uriah Thornburg on 24 Jun 1851, Randolph Co., IN. Uriah was born 11 Aug 1825, Jamestown, Greene Co., OH, the son of Uriah Thornburg and Sarah Hite. Mary died on 16 Dec 1880. Uriah remarried and died on 04 Dec 1907. Mary and Uriah are buried in the Paint Twp. Cemetery, London, Madison Co., OH. Children: Sarah, Luella, Joseph, Albert, Elizabeth, Melvina, Ida, Mary, and Amy Thornburg.

     c. Elizabeth Cox, born 23 Dec 1843, married Absalom Leeper Thomas. Absalom was born on 16 Jun 1840, Hamilton Co., OH. Elizabeth died on 07 Feb 1915 and Absalom died on 22 Feb 1910. They are buried in the Fruitland Cemetery, Americus, Lyon Co., KS. Children: Joseph E., William, Alden, Jemima, Rachel, Ida, Louise, Anna and Lavina Thomas.

     d. Phoebe C. Cox, born 18 Jun 1846 (US Hinshaw Index to Selected Quaker Records, 1680 to 1940), died on 10 Aug 1907

     e. Jemima E. Cox, born 23 Apr 1848, IN, married Joseph Marion Shores on 22 Aug 1889, Randolph Co., IN. Joseph was born on 25 Jan 1842, IN, the son of John Shores and Ann Johnson. Jemima died on 26 Jun 1940 and Joseph died in 1911. They are buried in the Center Friends Cemetery, Milton, Miami Co., OH. Children: Louisa, William, Arrel, and Florence Shores.

     William was listed in the 1850 West River, Randolph Co., Indiana Census records. He married secondly to Nancy Osborn Mills on 27 Aug 1851, Wayne Co., Indiana. Nancy was born on 11 February 1793 in Guilford Co., North Carolina, the daughter of David Osborn and Elizabeth Thompson. She was previously married to Richard Mills. William died on 29 November 1857 and Nancy died on 22 August 1855. They are buried Economy Cemetery, Economy, Wayne Co., Indiana.
