100 Acres on the NE side of the French Broad River on the head branches of Juel Branch
Written on 18 Nov 1816, Proved 28 Sep 1818

     N. Carolina by the Virtue of the within warrant of No. 37 and Entered the 18th of November 1816. I have surveyed a tract of Land for Peter Thomas on the north East side of French Broad on the head Branches of Juels Branch Beginning at a white oak on the East side of Ridge runs South thirty degrees west fifty poles to a white oak marked fore end of tree than the same Course Seventy poles to a Stake than South sixty degrees East one hundred and twanty Six to a Stake than north thirty degrees East one hundred and twenty six poles to a Stake than North sixty degrees west one hundred and twenty six poles to the Beginning Containing 100 acres certified September the 28th 1818.

Written on 18 Nov 1816, Proved 19 Feb 1817

     M.B. Patton Entry Taker of Claims for the Land in the County aforesaid To the Surveyor of Said County you are hereby required as Soon as may be to lay off and Survey for Peter Thomas fifty akers of Land on both sides of the warm Spring road on the fur Juel Branch.

Entered 18th November 1816

     And return the works of Survey to the Secretary office Together with this warrant observing the acts of The General Assembly In Such case made and Provided Given under my hand at office the 19th of February 1817.
