     *John Trickey was born in May 1861, Leeds, Ontario, Canada. He married Eliza Jane Neil. Eliza was born in March of 1860 in Canada, the daughter of John O. Neil and Eleanor "Ellen" Hollingsworth. John and Eliza were listed in the 1880, 1900, and 1910 Springfield Twp., St. Croix Co., Wisconsin Census. John was living with his son George's family in the 1920 Homer, Omadi Precinct, Dakota Co., Nebraska Census, widowed, however, I found Eliza listed in the 1940 Ramsey Co., Minnesota Census records living with her daughter Jennie Os. Eliza died on 15 Dec 1940, Ramsey Co., Minnesota. Their children were:

Frank was born in 09 Sep 1866, Greenbush, Sheboygan Co., Wisconsin the son of Jeremiah W. Menter and Ellen Donovan. They were listed in the 1910 Springfield Twp., St. Croix Co., Wisconsin Census, and 1920 Hammond, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin Census records. Frank died 28 June 1926 in Goodhue Co., Minnesota.      e. Kenneth Charles Menter, b: 18 Jun 1908, St. Croix Co., WI. He married Erma Grace Lewis on 09 Sep 1936, Anoka Co., MN, the daughter of Frank Lewis and Jenny Van Wagner. Kenneth d: 09 Mar 1984 and Erma d: 12 May 1989. They are buried in the Czech National Cemetery, Montgomery, Le Sueuer Co., MN (findagrave).

     f. Reynold Hugo Menter, b: 18 Sep 1909, St. Croix Co., WI. He married Irene Grace Minnick on 10 Sep 1934, Rice Co., MN. Irene b: 09 Oct 1912, the daughter of Daniel Minnick and Nellie Bamford. Reynold d: 30 May 1978 and Irene d: 09 Aug 1994. They are buried in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., MN (findagrave).

     g. Ruth Lillian Menter (adopted by Martin and Agnes Hanson), b: 05 Jun 1913, St. Croix Co., WI. She married Carl Melvin Earl Brock. Carl b: 11 Apr 1911, Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., MN, the son of Robert Brock and Amanda Johnson. Ruth d: 23 Jun 1997 and Carl d: 07 Feb 1981. Sydney b: 04 Jul 1909, Sherburne Co., MN, the son of Sidney Crapser an Mary Hunter. Frances d: 31 Aug 1962 and Sydney d: 09 Sep 1991.       Laura married secondly to Patrick A. "Pat" Arnold. Pat born on 10 Sep 1884 in Mooleyville, Breckinridge Co., Kentucky, the son of Benedict Arnold and Anna M. Bleavins. They were listed in the 1940 Anoka, Anoka Co., Minnesota Census records. Pat died on 06 Nov 1967 in Centralia, Marion Co., Illinois. Laura died in 1950.

3. Flora B. Trickey, born February 1884, Springfield, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin. She married John Millner. John was born on 08 Oct 1883 in Cokato, Wright Co., Minnesota. Marie was born on 26 Oct 1888 in Minnesota, the daughter of David Yennie and Mattie Zwinglie. She was previously married to Floyd Campbell, and had 3 children Paul, Avis, and Alice Campbell.      *George W. Trickey was born on 02 July 1879 in Ontario, Canada. He married Emma Leona Harris on 20 Mar 1898 in Hersey, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin. Emma was born on 11 Nov 1879 in Masonville, Deleware Co., Iowa, the daughter of Henry Harris and Mary Elizabeth Spencer. George's naturalization application stated that he and his parents came to Knapp, Wisconsin to see a William S. Trickey in 1880. George and his family lived in Hersey, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin and in Homer, Dakota Co., Nebraska. George died on 02 Nov 1953 and Emma died on 07 Mar 1966. They are buried in the Omaha Valley Cemetery, Homer, Dakota Co., Nebraska. Their children were:

1. Earl "Ole" Trickey, born 24 Jan 1899, Hersey, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin. He died on 29 Dec 1947, and is buried in the Omaha Valley Cemetery, Homer, Dakota Co., Nebraska. Ole never married.

2. Delta Marie Trickey, born 30 Mar 1900, Hersey, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin. She married Cornelius Colllins on 10 May 1919 in Dakota Co., Nebraska. Delta died on 19 July 1920. Cornelius was born on 28 Feb 1897 in Scranton, Kansas, the son of John and Eliza Fauwl Collins. Cornelius married second to Delta's sister; Flora Elizabeth.

3. Loraine Henry Trickey,born: 02 July 1902, Hersey, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin, married Frances "Mae" Clark. Loraine died on 04 Feb 1979. Both Loraine and Mae are buried in St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota. Children: George Franklin Trickey.

4. Flora Elizabeth "Flossie" Trickey, born: 22 July 1904, Hersey, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin, married twice. She married first to Cornelius Collins on 24 Jan 1923 in South Sioux City, Dakota Co., Nebraska. Cornelius was born in 1898 in Scranton, Kansas the son of John and Eliza Fauwl Collins. Flossie married second to Arthur Pansegrau. Arthur was born on 14 April 1906 in Germany. Flossie and Art both died on 13 Feb 1950, in a car accident near Marshalltown, Iowa. They are buried in the Omaha Valley Cemetery, Homer, Dakota Co., Nebraska. Children: Cornelius "Mickey", Samuel Everett "Bud" Collins, Edgar George Pansegrau.

5. Samuel Trickey, born: 06 Sept 1906 in Hersey, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin, married Alma Tilda Opsal in 1930. Alma was born 10 Dec 1907 in Decora, South Dakota, the daughter of Anon H. and Telina Opsal. Samuel died on 10 Sept 1975, and Alma died on 09 Jul 1991. They both are buried in the Pines Cemetery, Spokane, Spokane Co., Washington. Children: Arvid Samuel, Shirley Ann Trickey.

6. Peter Pickett Trickey, born: 31 Dec 1908 in Hersey, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin, married Stella Bobier in 1933 in So. Sioux City, Dakota Co., Nebraska. Stella was the daughter of George Bobier. Peter died 30 May 1962 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After Peter's death Stella married Gilbert Christensen. Children: Phyllis Elaine Trickey.

7. Donald Trickey,born: 23 Nov 1910 in Hersey, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin. He drowned in Crystal Lake, So. Sioux City, Dakota Co., Nebraska at the age of 13. He died on 29 Dec 1923, and is buried in the Omaha Valley Cemetery, Homer, Dakota Co., Nebraska.

8. Lester George "Let" Trickey, born: 18 May 1913 in Hersey, St. Croix Co., Wisconsin, married Helen Rogosch on 01 Oct 1932 in Elk Point, South Dakota. Let died on 20 Apr 1962 in Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa. Helen remarried Clyde Smith. Helen died on 06 May 2000 in Amarillo, Texas. They both are buried in the Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas. Children: Danial Joseph, Harold Karl Trickey.

9. Emma Johanna Trickey, (See 7th Generation), born 19 Dec 1916 in Homer, Dakota Co., Nebraska. Children: Delores (Howard), Hubert M., Benny G., Earl M. Treadway.

10. Edgar Thomas "Ed" Trickey, born 05 May 1919 in Homer, Dakota Co., Nebraska, married Florence L. Emery on 12 Aug 1939 in South Sioux City, Dakota Co., Nebraska. Florence was born on 26 Feb 1921 in Wakefield, Dixon Co., Nebraska, the daughter of Myrtle. Ed died on 15 Sep 2014, and Florence died on 07 Sep 2004. They both are buried in the Omaha Valley Cemetery, Homer, Dakota Co., Nebraska. Children: Mary Loiuse Trickey.

11. Leona Mae "Babe" Trickey, born 26 Feb 1921 in Homer, Dakota Co., Nebraska, married Orville Bryant Dalton on 17 June 1961 in Granbury, Texas. Orville was born on 02 Aug 1912 in Cleveland, Missouri, the son of Thomas Dalton and Elizabeth Cooley. Babe died on 28 Dec 1991, and Orville died on 08 July 1988. Hubert was born on 13 Nov 1911 in Agatite, Hardeman Co., Texas, the son of James Matthew Treadway and Zora Rosina Wardrup. Emma died on 08 Dec 1993, and Hubert died on 26 Mar 1977. They both are buried in the Omaha Valley Cemetery, Homer, Dakota Co., Nebraska.
