Bridget was born in 1614 and baptized on 26 December 1618, Attleborogh, Co. Norfolk, England, the daughter of John Burton and Anne Goode. They immigrated to the Colonies, and lived at Hingham, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts in 1635 (Tuthill Family of Tharston, Norfolk, England). He was a Freeman and then a Constable there. The book also states that Henry had a planting lot on Broad Cove in 1635, and a home in 1637. The book also states that he sold his land on 20 June 1644, probably coming to Suffolk Co., Long Island, New York then. Henry died on 22 September 1644. Bridget married secondly to William Wells.
